  1. As I said, an error which has been corrected. Now we know which way the error was. Predictability the limit is 1,000 notebooks.
  2. evernote-backup There's is also Backupery which is a paid for service.
  3. This has been noted in the Evernote Expert Community. Clearly there's an error. I suspect it is the reference to Unlimited notes. I anticipated it will be fixed then we will know.
  4. There is no test group. All free tier users are subject to maximum 1 notebook and 50 notes limit.
  5. The good news is that your old notes will not be deleted, restricted or anything else. However, if you have more than 50 notes or more than one notebook then you will not be able to add any further notes. You can edit, export, delete or move existing notes. So you have some breathing space to decide what to do next. But, as you have discovered the free lunch has come to an end.
  6. Go ahead. But you can't do that here. That would be building a competing product and, I think, contrary to the forums Code of Conduct. In any case there are plenty of alternative note taking apps. Chances are what you might develop had already been done.
  7. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. The developers can't make it open source. They left and the software is now stuck in a vault, unloved and going nowhere.
  8. The OP was reporting an issue with Scannable. The reason for the problem with Scannable was explained. Is that your issue? Otherwise perhaps open a thread which isn't on the Scannable sub-forum where you might find others who share your experience.
  9. Many years ago, I had a similar issue. It turned out to be a block put in place by my ISP. Might be worth checking there too.
  10. Sadly, for your campaign, the developers that built the four separate pieces of software that were the Legacy applications have left. There is nobody around who knows the old software and I doubt anyone is going to learn about it. Legacy is still with us for those that want it. I'm surprised it is still working. I fully expect that it will be blocked from access sooner rather than later. I'd expected that to be in 2023. But I seem to be wrong. The problem for all the old apps is that they use the now old sync processes. I can't see the Evernote folk supporting that forward much longer. But I may be wrong about that too. But the apps have gone. They won't return. So, if you have, use it and need it then keep hold of the installer just in case.
  11. Did you empty the trash as well. There have been some suggestions that notes in Trash count towards the 50 limit.
  12. The add on applications that were offered by Evernote such as Penultimate have not had attention for sometime. The developers who knew the app have, I think, long left the company's employment so the apps get flakier and flakier as time and versions of iOS go on. I'm not sure if there is any support for Penultimate but a support ticket is likely to be the place to try. I fear it will be a case of use it as is. It's possible that Evernote's new owners may resurrect the app but I would imagine it will be some time.
  13. As explained elsewhere, Free accounts are now limited to one notebook and 50 notes. Existing users can work with old notes and that includes moving notes. Have you tried closing the upgrade advertvia the X in top right corner?
  14. Premium is now withdrawn. The only rates available are Personal, Professional and Teams.
  15. Yes, we've had several conversations about Gboard. I was encouraging @Roy Douglas to confirm that his issue was just with Gboard. I'd have taken it on to say that Evernote doesn't work well with Gboard but you've beaten me to it.
  16. Please describe, clearly, the steps we can take to reproduce this issue including obtaining the Email you mention.
  17. Can you make wishes for me too? Yours seen to come true 😁
  18. The web clipper smart filing has been reported as non-functional for sometime. The smart filing for Emailed content is enabled at https://www.evernote.com/PersonalSettings.action I rather suspect that you have this enabled but the guesses aren't very useful. Try turning it off or on in the settings and see what happens. As I noted I have never found smart filing useful. The guesses rarely match my thinking so I gave up a long time ago. I find it quicker to know where these notes are located and do house keeping every day or two.
  19. To be clear, cancelling your service means no longer paying and dropping to the Free tier. The Account Status page allows you to do more drastic things https://www.evernote.com/secure/CloseAccount.action
  20. I'm not aware of any location for that information in terms of number of bytes stored. In your Account Settings you can review you use for the current month - https://www.evernote.com/Settings.action - You can see the total number of notes stored in the Notes view. At the top of the thumbnail/snippet column. There is no place that I know of to see how much storage you are using since that isn't a metric that is used with your Evernote account.
  21. I'm running v10.67.4 and have n o problems sync-ing to the cloud. Sometimes the best solution is to fully unistall using Revo Unistaller (Windows) or Appcleaner (MacOS). These both remove all trace of Evernote so that you can reinstall the latest version from evernote.com/download Worth rebooting your PC after the uninstall before reinstalling.
  22. You should try an alternative keyboard to isolate whether it is an issue between Evernote and Gboard only or an issue with all keyboards on your device.
