  1. Hi. Can you open Drive in a browser and sign in outside of Evernote? As long as you're signed in somewhere on that device you should have access...
  2. Hi. I'd suggest renaming the file - or the folder - to add '.old' to the end so you still have the original in case there are any problems downloading a new copy. Can I ask why you're doing that? if you install v10 you'll get a new database in a different location...
  3. I certainly hope for that, but a couple of others have stressed it's urgent to find an answer for this and the lack of a clipper has put a stop to my email process for the moment - I'd rather spend some time looking for an answer rather than just hoping for a quick fix!
  4. Meantime in terms of work-arounds, there's emailing into the Evernote account, and I'm looking into other add-ins for both Gmail and Outlook where it might be possible to drag and drop emails and attachments and move them from there into a note. Dropbox for instance is an option, but only good for attachments, not the email content.
  5. Hi. How were you migrating? From what to what? And if you look at one of the notes and its duplicate, are the created and updated dates the same?
  6. Hi. There are already two separate threads about email clipping - best advice for the moment; remember you can forward emails to your account with notebook / tag and reminder information. Report the issue to Support - the more messages they get, the more attention this will receive.
  7. ? There are two options for note links behind the three dots menu If I choose the web link I get the note title and an https:// link when pasted in a note... The '+' & '/' keys assume an internal link is required.
  8. As I write this, the current app version is 10.79.2. If you're not using that version please - Sign out of Evernote (if you were signed in initially) and opt not to save your database locally. Use Appcleaner (Mac) or Revo Uninstaller (Windows) to completely remove Evernote from your system. Power Cycle your device off (10 seconds) and back on again Download the latest Evernote installer from Evernote.com and reinstall. Leave Evernote running for an hour or so to download your account and indexes. If you have further issues please confirm that you carried out all these steps exactly and in order.
  9. Hi. No clue I'm afraid - we're mostly other users here. You could try work-arounds like printing and re-scanning the PDF or opening the PDF and 'printing' it to another document file to see if it's a format issue. Support could help you, but they've been a bit overwhelmed lately - if you're willing to wait for a response try https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new
  10. Both Gmail and Outlook seem to have some issues with their respective add-ins - see also
  11. Evernote has activity logs which you can send to Support (please don't post them here - we're mainly just other users). Best advice is probably to do a clean reinstall on each device - uninstall / don't keep local data / power cycle device / download from Evernote.com and re-install. Keep the app open so Evernote can download and install the local infrastructure.
  12. Hmmn. The 'new' Outlook 365 just introduced itself to me and both my Outlook and Google email add-ins now seem broken. Still have the 'email to' option, and various third-party apps offer email-to-document file options I could possibly use. Best advice for now is - contact Support so they're aware of the scale of the issue but be patient for any responses. Do reply to the boiler plate 'have you tried...' response you'll probably get first! Please post any constructive feedback you get here!
  13. Hi. [Tab] will take you from title to the content of your note, but it's not possible to jump around within the body of the note from one field to another except in tables or attached spreadsheets - where you typically move from one column to another. Depending on your spreadsheet (or maybe other third party software) you may be able to find more options - and you can always attach a document file from another app to your note if you wish.
  14. Offline access depends on how long you left your account open after updating so that Evernote could download all your data. Check Tools > Settings > Preferences > application to confirm a copy of your notes is kept locally, and allow some time to download your data. How long depends on the size of your account and the speed of your connection.
  15. Hi. Updates can sometimes corrupt an existing install - try uninstalling Evernote with Revo Uninstaller (Windows) or Appcleaner (Mac), power your device off and back on again, and download & install the latest version from Evernote.com.
  16. Wow and I just updated my Windows 10 laptop - immediate success. No need for restarts - the installer closed the app / updated itself and here I am with '/' commands...
  17. Maybe try a standard uninstall, just to take out the application and then reinstall again? It's weird that it should be different...
  18. I upgraded and had exactly the same issue. Then I quit Evernote and restarted it and everything worked...
  19. The various app stores have their own versions - slight alterations maybe, but enough to make them a step behind Evernote.com for updates some of the time.
  20. Since Evernote started out as market leader with literally millions of users, I think it would be a very very slow death if it happens - and a lot of folks in the Forums seems to take a perverse delight in forecasting doom and destruction, where all I can see at the moment are interesting possibilities... Have a look at Federico on YouTube for more - https://workflowy.com/#/333244814eba or @Jon/t on Substack - https://tamingthetrunk.substack.com/p/a-quick-catch-up-new-evernote-features But if you're happy with the current service (apart from this item!) why worry about changing? Wait until you're finding Evernote a real problem - you can waste a lot of time researching alternatives and learning how to use them!
  21. HI. I moved your request to a votable forum to see how much interest there might be in this idea.
