  1. Hi. See https://evernote.com/security/report-issue which says 'contact Support' - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new (expect some delays...)
  2. Hi. Device / OS / Evernote version? Have you tried exports to HTML?
  3. OneNote uses a different architecture for notebooks. notes and tags so an import is going to require some editing. Do an internet search for recent Evernote to OneNote posts and utilities. You may want to export your current notes to ENEX or HTML too...
  4. Try a 'clean' reinstall? Sign out of Evernote and remove your database from the device. Uninstall with Appcleaner and power device off and back on. Re-download (from Evernote.com) / reinstall.
  5. Hi. Do you 'clip', or do you Share to Evernote? And have you tried emailing into your account via your Evernote email address? What's your OS and Evernote version?
  6. There's another type of web link - have a look at Postach.io. It allows you to "publish" notes from one notebook as web pages if they're tagged "published". It even supports a limited form of Markdown. And each published page has it's own URL generated by the app. Once you have the pages up there, it's pretty easy to capture the Postach.io URLs and create a new Table of Contents note with links to other pages (or ToCs) and create a complete structure online. My (much neglected) pages are here - https://cliffeactual.com/ (long story...)
  7. May be a corrupted update. A clean reinstall may help - 1 - Make sure your notes are synced up to date (check the web client or another device) 2 - Exit Evernote (if you can) / delete data from device 3 - Uninstall app with Appcleaner (Mac) or Revo Uninstaller Free (Win) 4 - Power device off / allow 10 seconds / power back on 5 - Download latest Evernote from Evernote.com 6 - Reinstall. It will take a little while for the app to be fully operational
  8. Hi. There's no such thing as a "free 7-day Premium plan", nor is it possible to lose notes from an old account - though you may have lost access to the server they are stored on. If you wrote letters I'd be interested to know to which address, since the company is now based in Italy, and if you paid through Apple, they are the people you need to contact to cancel your payment or receive a refund. If you've not already done so, you could try to find your account details here - https://www.evernote.com/BillyBillingProfile.action - you should be able to cancel your subscription there at any time. Evernote.com has a 'forgot password' process which might connect you with your old account, but you may be better off contacting https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new. It can take some time to get a response, but you will get one - and hopefully some assistance with your billing and password queries. (We're mainly all other users in the Forums, so no access to password or payment details.)
  9. Hi. Do you run a VPN service? Try switching it off to log in.
  10. I don't think it is. You could try this link which will download a v10- compatible version, and you could try again in a day or two because I had trouble yesterday; I think either a lot of work is being done on servers, or a lot of people are overloading the capacity by exporting or converting to the new app - both of which require possibly lengthy downloads. You have some time before access is 'officially' gone - try again later...
  11. Hi. First step - if you're the Admin for the account, please fill in a Support request https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new and capture the ticket number that you get. Post that back here and we can flag it for an Evernote Employee to look into - we're mostly other users.
  12. I was also thinking that directing users to the 'right' place to ask questions / report issues might be best dealt with by using something like Airtable to index queries by OS / EN version / feature / error... but that would be expensive to develop and result in a l-o-n-g questionnaire for users to fill in... I'll leave that as an exercise for someone else!
  13. An actual agent - no; but for contacts - Submitting a ticket: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?guest=true For the moment a 7-10 delay is not unusual for the Support team - they've been 20+ days on some queries but pretty quick on urgencies like access to accounts. Submit a ticket as above (unless you already did) and then please be patient - they will get round to you as soon as they can.
  14. HI. Yes, the web counts as a third device. You get onscreen instructions as to how to disconnect other devices - just follow those carefully. You're limited to two sessions to disconnect devices though, so best to use the web access on your PC and the app on the iPhone.
  15. Hi. What browser are you using / what's your internet speed like and is there a local firewall / VPN active?
  16. Hi. Device / OS / details of your issue - where did you install the app from / were you able to log in correctly / what happened?
  17. I believe it's called a 'trial' - the app now has access to features that were previously only available to top level subscribers so you can try them out. If you want long term storage (Mine's currently 39GB) you need to subscribe...
  18. ...but there is an option to save notes as templates, and the Gallery has a 'my templates' tab which stays open by default - that's one reason why I never got any further with the 'more' options. I've been routinely creating project notes (for instance) from Open Gallery > New Project in a couple of seconds...
  19. For the record, yes - I can (and do) move any post to the correct forum. I also have the possibility to merge threads - but that puts ALL the posts in strict date order, so with anything more than a few remarks it mixes up comments and responses and just causes general confusion. And there's occasional spam and bot action which gets nuked. From my own support experience I have to say that users really should rely on Support and Feedback threads. As you note - despite the impassioned cases presented here - some of the requests are not as popular as they appear. Evernote will have some stats somewhere that show them what is most wanted. That's valuable commercial information, because if we all decided that Purple was a better colour scheme, you can bet that most of the competition would be working on that as soon as they could. It's a notation arms race out there... Plus if Evernote publishes a table, they'll get more demands for "why is purple better? I want a grey option..." and complaints if they don't respond, or take the option off the table. Like everything else the whole topic is far more complicated than it seems. Also this is not a democracy and Evernote will deliver the upgrades it can add quickly and cheaply, and may add more difficult ones later - some it may even develop and hold back... just in case a competitor comes out with some new trick and Evernote can immediately counter with a better one. Trust me - I've worked for big companies. IMHO the best thing anyone can do is submit ideas and requests in the standard way and post them for discussion in their favourite social media (or even here...) as a reality check. I hope Evernote will take a Henry Ford kind've view - back in his day, what people mostly wanted was bigger horses. He developed something which satisfied their needs better and didn't cause a run on the shovel market. Although he did encourage the use of gasoline engines...
  20. ...and I killed my VPN again (Evernote was allegedly on split tunnelling but seems not to like it...) If you click the 'add more' button you see those templates highlighted in blue. Click a template and its button disappears from the note options. - Something I didn't know about notes until now! Sadly, no way to add your own suggested templates into the 'add more' options...
  21. Well here's a development - I clicked 'Weekly planner' which didn't obviously work so clicked some others. And then... -which co-incidentally kicked me out of syncing too. If I click the 'planner button, that template is what I get.
  22. Hi. Always useful to know what device / OS and Evernote versions you're using...
  23. After a little difficulty - this is now the 78.2 new note view - still no new buttons??
  24. When (hopefully) you realise that things are now working smoothly - my nearly 70,000 notes took around 3 days. Yours should be faster - but one thing I forgot in that list was Server traffic; seems like everyone who waited until now to convert is either exporting their old notes or converting to v10 - I had such a series of slow and missed connections, and "you are offline" messages yesterday that I gave up and went to bed. Things seem better today.
