  1. Hi. Not expected behaviour. What's your device / OS / current Evernote version? Have you tried uninstalling with Revo Uninstaller (Windows) to ensure a 'clean' reinstall?
  2. ...Wouldn't have thought so. I think it's mainly user traffic currently - 1% (allegedly) of All Known Users are busy either exporting notes or updating to v10. Multiply that by the average number of notes in a notebook and the servers would probably melt...
  3. That option is a promotion for a limited number of templates created by various Evernote Experts. It does work - see my earlier posts; for those specific templates you can add an extra button to include the template from the new note body. It's not possible to include your own options. The Gallery button takes you to a window where you can choose standard options or add your own creations. All of that works - It's not very useful, but it works. If you have a preference for something else, what process would you prefer?
  4. That would be the perversity of the Universe tending towards a maximum... (Larry Niven)
  5. If you are planning on running Legacy and v10 side-by-side, you're also prolonging your own suffering, because v10 wants notes in one format and Legacy uses another. Both apps will spend time converting notes opened in one app into the format compatible with the other. Just sayin..
  6. ? They already fixed the title bar issue - I doubt bonuses were involved...
  7. Yes - the website updates everyone on a schedule, but to get the latest version immediately, a direct download always works.
  8. Try uninstalling the existing app using Appcleaner (which reaches the files other uninstallers do not) and re-download from Evernote.com and reinstall...
  9. Quick fix - just power your system off and then back on again. Slightly longer version.. sign out of Evernote / remove database from local device / uninstall app with Applcleaner (Mac) or Revo Uninstaller (Win). Power off and on again - re-download and reinstall... leave system running as long as possible to rebuild local files.
  10. Hi. There's no 'official' process - as far as Evernote are concerned Legacy was end-of-life years ago. AFAIK there is no physical way to keep the Legacy app functional after you lose access to the servers. You could try to stay logged in, but if your connection is interrupted for any reason you lose access to the app and effective access to your notes. The EXB file format used to be viewable via a SQLite client so you might be able to rescue some information that way, but edits and updates will be difficult. You could export your notes to PDF or HTML files and try to construct a working reference database - but again all maintenance will be manual. The only two viable options seem to be: Export notes and migrate to another provider or Accept v10 with all its perceived faults and try to develop work-arounds. At least you have the search / edit / add new notes options catered for, and have the time to develop work-arounds or find alternatives. EDIT: (NB your existing database is still stored on he server and available via the web access)
  11. Hi again - and I'm now on 10.78.2 (and getting a llittle dizzy) where the Titles column width issue seems to have been fixed... it's pretty variable now.
  12. If you have either ticket number I can maybe get an Admin to look at this. There are no contactable individuals as such - too many users are trying to reach too few Support staff. Although it's chaotic, they're doing their best to recover.
  13. Hi. Not many Teams users here to understand your concerns or support them in an informed manner - we're mainly other users here; not the company. Please advise your Teams Admin and Evernote Support directly, or use feedback@evernote.com to pass on your request.
  14. Sorry - don't understand why not. Creating a note by email is pretty much the same as typing directly into a note body; you're just using an email client instead of Evernote.com. I get that if you're mailing from work your activities will be very trackable, but if you use anything connected to their internal network, it's not going to be private. Your other options could be using a phone or tablet, or perhaps setting the notes up in a word processor to take files home (thumb drive?) and import them later.
  15. Hi. Are you at home? At work? Using VPN? - Seems like 1% or so of Evernote users either decided to export their notes to transfer to a third party, or upgraded to v10 - which on a desktop involves downloading a new copy of the account to local storage. Either way I have the impression that servers are busy!
  16. I understand that - what I'm saying is that you can save a note as a template and find it again under the 'Gallery' button.
  17. Hi. Please be patient - support have been very busy and there are long wait times... https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new
  18. There's a password protection option for subscribers, and while anyone with the URL can see an unprotected page, the content is stored (AFAIK) behind Evernote's standard firewalls so is not available to a standard search. I also just tried using Google Gemini which found a substack page, but nothing from the website. But I agree it's not exactly secure web hosting...
  19. Hi. No method known, sorry. If it helps any, you can filter for notes containing URLs, but that will get you external links too... You could try Support - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new - but they may not have anything to offer here.
  20. Hi. This website is mainly supported by other users, and we can't 'fix' anything. Contact Support - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new - for issues, but expect a wait. They're a little busy. I'm not aware that anyone has actually lost data in an update or upgrade - there are two main possibilities: accidentally creating a new blank account through an incorrect login, or expecting instant access to notes when an upgrade involves a lot of background setup. Allowing the app to run for a few minutes should resolve that. Worst case - try re-downloading from Evernote.com and reinstall.
