  1. "Help" takes you to the 'help and learning' page and searching any topic will take you to more information and a Support link...
  2. If you go your your Notebooks page in v10 and check the three-dots menu to the right of the name, you can export the entire contents of the notebook (without any 100-note limits) to an ENEX file. Not very helpful if you have a lot of notebooks, but doable for a dozen or so... EDIT - on a desktop... mobiles and the web version don't have the option.
  3. Hmmn. Are you both using the installed app or the web version? Either way I'd suggest two things: As a 'temporary' workaround - if you're creating a note and realise it will take some time, do your heavy noting in a local app like a word processor - I use Typora as a WIP notepad - then copy/ paste to Evernote. Working with Evernote now is just like working with a browser window - almost as stable as a local app...but not quite. If you can, make sure that Evernote is exited on any other devices where you have it installed while you use your current device. Contact Support about this. Get a copy of your Activity logs when it recurs too - intermittent issues are hard to track down.
  4. Best to contact Support next time it happens and send your activity logs. See https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208314078 for more on that. Evernote seem to be keeping a close eye on latency issues, but you may also be subject to other traffic on your server, or internet traffic generally.
  5. I gather from the other thread you posted in (please don't do that...) that you're using Brave, where Clipper doesn't work and have tried Chrome, where it does. There have been some changes to Clipper and the Gmail option seems to have been dropped - but you can now 'multi-select', so can choose which bits of a page to clip. That works well in Gmail if you need it. As I already said I use Vivaldi and don't have any issues...
  6. Brave is chrome based too. I used it for a while and found that I had to re-install extensions sometimes - I'm now using Vivaldi; also Chrome-based, but not as quirky as Brave or as bloated as Chrome.
  7. Hi. Legacy has been carrying a red "this app is outdated" flag for weeks now. Evernote no longer provides any support. You could try powering device off and on again, but changes to Evernotes servers, or to your own OS or browser may have stopped the service working.
  8. Are we talking about the gmail-specific web clipper installed in the Gmail inbox, or about the generic web clipper that installs to the browser but had a special gmail settings?
  9. The short term fix would seem to be: File>Exit Evernote before you sleep the computer. I sleep both a Windows 10 laptop and a Win 11 desktop and have not had the same situation arise. You could try a full clean reinstall to see whether this is due to some small corruption with your installation - exit Evernote, opt not to keep a copy of your database, and uninstall with Revo Uninstaller Free; then restart and re-download / reinstall from Evernote.com. Everything will be recreated from the server, and depending on the size of your database could take a while. Defiitely a chance for a beverage or two while you wait for the system to restore. If after that the situation persists, then contact Support - I've not seen any other reports of this so far...
  10. The app is busy after updates, hence the fan speeds. They should even out after a few hours. Latest version should now be 10.63.3 from here - https://evernote.com/download
  11. Please check these two locations - https://www.evernote.com/Settings.action https://www.evernote.com/PersonalSettings.action ...and check they show "new version / enable v10 That should resolve the problem.
  12. Hi. Subscribers have access to Note History which is a snapshot (taken several times each day) of the content of the note since its creation. While non-subscribers also have this protection you will need to subscribe get access. Check the three-dots menu of a note for more details.
  13. Hmmn.. About that... Whelp; there's a Prime Day coming up soon and I need to sort out my account with the phone provider... Thanks for the reminder!
  14. It does for me - maybe because you haven't posted here much?
  15. Hi. And hmmn. According to this Evernote Help you're doing exactly the right thing, so your next step really should be to reach out to Support for some assistance. It does occur to me that moving 16,000 notes to the Trash will still slow your account down. You'll also need to empty the trash too once a delete is complete.
  16. I don't see a problem. If a note is (or will become) important as of a certain date, why not set up a Reminder or a Task or a Calendar item (with notifcation) or use the Home Page options like Pinned Notes or Filtered Notes to highlight important entries? Yes you could forget to apply any of those, and I have a system which I occasionally forget to apply at creation of the note. My only protection is that when I spot an error or omission I'll correct it.
  17. Impressive, but discussed extensively here in other posts. Update your app to 10.63.3 - https://evernote.com/download
  18. I'm assuming that there aren't so many places that you could not have a search for place + trigger for each one, so your tasks could be sorted into several locations in separate notes. There's actually a subscription app 'Filterize' that could put all those searches into one Table of Contents note for you and update it on a regular basis, but that involves extra cost. We don't really know enough about your process to suggest a viable alternative, but I'm sure there should be one based on tags and searches. If you're unhappy with that, then Evernote may bring back more searchable columns in future, but its uncertain whether or when that might happen. It might or might not be before Legacy finally stops working. Your alternative then will be to find another app with a format that allows for your process. Sorry we couldn't be of more help.
  19. If you visit this page regularly you should be kept up to date: https://evernote.com/release-notes
  20. There's presumably another factor - are you looking for places to go today? Or places that have an outstanding task? I'm thinking that if you convert your notebook place names to tags, and also have the other search factor, you can produce a list of (for example) things to do today and filter that by place-tags. Others here may have better ideas.
  21. But on the bright(er) side, users who downgrade to Free are reporting discounts of 40/50% for the next year to soften the blow of staying on....
