  1. Edge is Chrome-based now - and there's another post about Clipper issues with Chrome. Try a support ticket if you're a subscriber - and another browser to check whether Edge, or Chrome have issues...
  2. If the note is deleted, it is not available from the 'history' backups. They can only show previous versions. I don't think it's possible though to delete a note without it staying in Trash for a while. What device and OS are you using? Edit - and please don't post twice on the same issue...
  3. All Evernote clients sync to the server, and get their updates synced back from there. The desktop has no direct connection with your Android content. Have you checked for your note in the web version? (Beware that if you don't subscribe the free version counts as another 'device' connected to your account.)
  4. Hi. Support is via the web - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?guest=true - use the issue type "Account" You'd need to quote the login details for your original account. No clue what page you're looking at, or why your posts are not in the correct format.
  5. I'd suggest using Revo Uninstaller Free to remove the current app and then restart your laptop and download / reinstall the app from Evernote.com
  6. Hi. Google is a separate company to Evernote, and Evernote had a major outage this morning - Maybe restart your device(s) and try again later?
  7. I'm both glad, and somewhat frustrated, to hear it. 🙂
  8. Copy and paste your text into a local app until the current outage is over?
  9. Wow. And the desktop app AND the forums just crashed on my PC which was mildly scary. Needed to restart to get everything back...
  10. Nope - it's not running normally for me yet anyway. A test edit I made to my desktop app finally made it to my tablet after a very, very long time, but the "sync paused" pop up keeps on coming back. This looks like a fairly serious outage, but I'd rather have all hands on desk trying to fix it, rather than some poor soul sentenced to answering impassioned complaints that someone lost access for a whole morning...
  11. Your money is worth much, much less however... But if you want to move to OneNote, that's your choice.
  12. ...What @Dave-in-Decatur said: plus there are several random server backups each day to provide you with Note History - the ability to step any note back through all its versions to the day it was created (provided the content was synced with the server in the first place, and hasn't been moved from one notebook to another since.)
  13. They responded twice to give you your ticket references! Please don't send any more new requests - a human will get back to you as quickly as possible; more requests just gives them more admin to do. You can see and reply to comments here - the direct connection should speed things up. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/
  14. No more "I have the same problem" posts please! We know - we're all users here, and Evernote appears to be down. To coin a phrase "Don't panic!" - it'll be back up when things get fixed. Hold off for an hour or two. Like the pop-up says "you can continue editing..."
  15. That would be good - please specify your device / OS & Evernote version, including whether this is web or installed app....
  16. Only thing to do for the moment is to add your ticket if you're a subscriber.
  17. Hi. Since we don't know the size of your screen, or what device / OS or Evernote version you're using it's hard to help. Have you tried using keyboard shortcuts to jump between windows or just let the app sit on your taskbar from time to time? There's no known fix for physical window size apart from changing the screen resolution AFAIK.
  18. I'll take a wild guess that you're a Windows desktop user, but installed or web version? Win 10 or 11? - details help... If you plan a tag-mageddon it might be a bad idea: if you use more than one device it will take an age for your deleted tags to sync with your other clients and your searches will be chaos for a while. I changed tagging systems with one simple(ish) trick - all my tags now have an x prefix - so "xAmazon " to "xZapier". Older tags get deleted from time to time as I notice them. If you go to the tags page in a desktop it's possible to delete a tag with one click - but bearing the sync issue in mind, I'd suggest doing a handfull a day to start...
  19. Evernote subscribers get priority support via chat and email. Chat has been suspended for the moment because of current workloads. Subscribers can raise priority support queries here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new Free users here - https://twitter.com/evernotehelps (In both cases it's usually easier to use the Settings > Support option in the mobile client if you can get into it)
  20. ? The app was rewritten 3 years ago and has been extensively overhauled by the new owners. There have been sync , reliability and speed tweaks, and AI services are now included. I think your information is mainly fake news.
  21. Hi. It might help us to know your device / OS (10 or 11) / web browser and whether you have tried any other browsers. You mention the Windows client not logging out - were you in the habit of just clicking the 'x' at the top of the window, or was this a File > Quit? In the former case Evernote stays active, in the other it does not. If you see any activity it will be the app briefly 'tidying up' before closing completely. Your browser will also presumably have Clipper installed but that saves directly to Evernote's servers.
