Sadly the improvement lasted only a few days and I am back to a lag of hours or a day. In the latest enactment of this bug, it is especially frustrating as the correct list of tagged notes shows up very quickly, but within a short time the recently tagged ones disappear from the list of notes with the tag. I am once again resorting to the table of contents method to get round this bug. Hopefully the improvements on the desktop versions will be reflected on mobile soon!

I'm happy to report that it is working again, both on desktop and web, and I checked that I can use the app offline now too. Disturbed though that offline access to information was not possible. Anybody have any idea what just happened?

While it was working first thing this mornng, at present I can't get into Evenote on desktop - it fails on displaying the first note, and menu options don't work for me. The same happens on the web version, so I don't think reinstalling the desktop will help. Most concerning of all, the same happens if I go offline. At least the version on my iPhone is working, so I think I can get by today, but this is obviously not the same. What is the situation with offline access? Do we need to maintain a safe, trusted earlier version of the build in case this happens? I am in an endless loop of this message. Hopefully just a glitch, but I am more concerned about the offline access issue!

It used to happen to me and was indeed suboptimal. However it is no longer happening. Are you on the latest version?

Thanks for that. I can now see my list of tagged notes quickly without waiting for my iPhone to catch up! I have also discovered that two-finger tap is a way to multi-select!

Chrome browser on iPad no longer lets me in. "Sorry, we don't support your browser at this moment." It used to work.

Yes @BarryTG This is exactly the issue. Tags ars so crucial but unreliable on iOS. I have set several this morning, but none are showing up yet. The delay seems to be getting worse (over a day). It varies, sometimes the tags work instantly. @KWC Yes, I have also seen it recently on Windows, but this is rare for me.

I first raised a ticket on this nine months ago, and gave up after a prolonged exchange of messages in which the matter was escalated and the ticket subsequently closed. I have learned to live with a delay of a few hours (by visually looking for the tags in a list of recent notes) but I am currently still unable to see notes come up in a tagged list where I set the tag a day ago. So I have given up on the iOS versions as a serious tool for much beyond taking the initial notes. Perhaps BS will fix this one day. The improvements in the desktop version help make up for this.

I opened three tickets on it, the first one was escalated for further review, and then "escalated to our Technical Support team", 8 months ago! Since then I opened two more tickets on it. I have heard nothing more.
