  1. I've taken a screen capture. I was using the Web version this time, which does exactly the same thing as the Windows desktop version. I start the video by clicking to the left of the start of the bulleted point and highlighting to the right. I also occasionally click between the bullet and the start of the line and highlight to the right. At the end of the video, I click in the text of the line and try highlighting to the left. You can see how frequently I can't successfully highlight the entire line. I will make a new ticket and send this video to them as well. Thanks for your help everyone! Evernote issues.webm
  2. It is. I only use the Windows desktop app. It happens both on my desktop and my laptop.
  3. It happens on several different computers. I believe the problem is with nested indented bulleted sections. I have several layers of indentations in many of my notes.
  4. So I sent in a ticket for support request, and got back an email from them saying they couldn't replicate the problem and closed the ticket. So frustrating....
  5. Thanks everyone. I didn't know I could click on the bullet itself and move it. I'll do that if I want to move the whole line. But yes... Often it's not the entire line I want to move, just part of the line starting at the beginning of the bullet. And it's also often if I want to highlight the entire line to bold it, which doesn't work properly a lot of the time.
  6. I use bulleted lines all the time when making notes, usually with multiple nested/indented bulleted lines. Often, I want to move around the text in these bulleted sections, but for quite a long time now, I've had difficulty selecting the text with my mouse in order to do so. If I click and hold my mouse at the beginning of the line and try to highlight to the right, it often won't work - especially if in doing so I click somewhere in the space between the bullet point and the beginning of the text. And so I've always clicked at the end of the line and highlighted to the left. But many times, it won't let me highlight to the beginning of the line. It highlights most of the line, but the highlight often stops short of the beginning of the line, and I can't get the beginning of the line included in what I'm trying to cut/copy/move. When this happens, I have to use my keyboard to bring my cursor to the beginning of the line, at which point I can then click the mouse and drag to the right. This happens often and is extremely frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
  7. I've been having this problem for quite a while. I'm running Windows 10. I will often leave Evernote open on my desktop if I'm working on something. When I then later wake up the computer from sleep mode, sometimes Evernote is gone. The icon on the taskbar still is highlighted, but when I click on the highlighted icon, nothing happens. If I right click on the icon and choose "Close Window", nothing happens, and it's still highlighted. When I go to task manager, it shows many evernote processes going on, and I have to delete all of them to close the program (and do it quickly, or it keeps adding more processes as I'm trying to delete the ones there). I can only get evernote to actually come up on my screen after I've closed all the processes and the taksbar icon is no longer highlighted. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?
  8. same thing for me just the past several days. I also saw another thread where they suggested closing the program from the menu. I tried it and it seemed to work - when I opened EN back up, it was on the last folder I had used. But then a day later, it's back to the "shared with me" file. I've done it a couple times, and each time it's reverted back. :(
  9. For the past month or two, I've been having difficulty trying to cut and paste text in my notes. I highlight the section I want to move, but when I then right-click over it, the right-click menu doesn't appear. Nothing. Sometimes it does, but often it doesnt, and I can't figure out why it only works some of the time. If I highlight a smaller selection of text it usually works better than if I select a large part of a note. Please help!
