  1. Hi. Have you checked Note History in case your recent update overwrote the previous edits? It's possible you shut down the office PC before it was able to sync the changes you made there to the server. For both office and home, what are your devices / OS / Evernote versions?
  2. Hi. Where are you seeing these two options side-by-side? Device OS and Evernote version helps....
  3. Now you're just being mean! 🤔 Edit: Oop - no you're not; just got that myself. Evernote helping me live up to my typos. Now. What was the topic again? (Sorry...)
  4. Lots of options, depending on volumes, and whether the note has to be available to both you and the owner to both update. Haven't tried it myself forinstance but you could create a Table of Contents note in your own account with links to the shared notes. You could add keywords to the listing - just unique words like 'xKeyword' or numbers, which will be searchable in your system. You could (I imagine) even share that with the owner of the notes who would be able to help maintain a shared 'index' for your data. Table of Contents notes - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209005667 Edit: You could also just use a shared note to list all the tags you may need to use and get the account owner to add all those tags to one note. Once the tags have been set up by the account owner, they're available to everyone sharing.
  5. Sorry that you're still having issues. Have you checked with Support that you and they are talking about the same account, and that you have the correct sign-in details?
  6. Hmmn. Sorry - I'm sure I saw someone mention 63.5; I also have 63.4 and after the recent flurry of updates, just couldn't be bothered to download it again. Please ignore me for a few - clearly I need more coffee!!
  7. Current version of Evernote is now 10.63.5 (sorry for previous typo) which includes roll-out of AI searching which may not have gotten to you yet. Latest versions always available here - http://evernote.com/download/
  8. I flagged the ticket number for the Forum Admins - they're Evernote Employees, but not Support. Hope it helps...
  9. I appreciate you are trying to be helpful, but I don't open file attachments from anyone these days, because you never know whether they might come with little surprises attached. Also Evernote has taken down any links to the 'old' version - apart, apparently from the link quoted in the thread here - has big red flashes over the UI warning that an update is urgently necessary, and generally seems to be sending a message that using Legacy is a generally bad idea. I did not think that they would appreciate the installer being available in the Forums here. And yes, I'm a mod here along with a couple of others.
  10. Yeah - I have a support request that's now a week old. I think they are a little busy...
  11. Maybe try to uninstall and reinstall the app? Use the Evernote.com download rather than the Windows store.
  12. I removed your post because it's bad security to download things from forum threads - especially deprecated software to which the owner of the forums no longer supplies official links...
  13. Hi. It would probably be best for you to contact Support (from the paid account) to see whether they can do that internally. (They are busy so it may take some time.) If you simply wish to be able to use the notes from the free account in your paid account, you could share the notebook(s) between the two, or export all the notes from the free account to ENEX files, notebook by notebook. Then import those files into the paid account. You would not be able to do the same from Paid to Free - the account limits are too low.
  14. Hi. Please remove your user email from the post (edit via the 3-dots menu) - this is a public forum. Has your user checked his spam folders?
  15. Support is very busy at present. Do you have a ticket number? We are mostly other users here, but we can ask an Evernote employee to look at your request.
  16. We're mainly other users here - contact Support https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new
  17. No links avaiable from Evernote - try an internet search?
  18. Hi. Note Information - Ctrl+Shift+I - includes the date, author and other information. Can't help you with languages, but that's been the case for some years in the new version...
  19. Hi. What version of Evernote are you using, and are you a subscriber? If you're a basic user you may have exceeded your device limit - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/218558068 - or one of the other system limits - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209005247 - for your account. If you are a subscriber you can contact Evernote Support (we're mainly other users here) to get assistance. https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new
  20. There are OS issues too. Each open file is 'locked' for it's current app - preventing another app from hijacking access and causing confusion. All OS's take this 'locking' thing seriously - it's a part of basic security - but none more seriously than our friends at Microsoft, who will lock files to an app for such a long time that there are online lists of ways to get the thing free again, and a couple of little apps that will do that for you - sometimes requiring a restart of your system in the process. The thing is that Evernote doesn't know when Windows has unlocked a file, so has no easy trigger to tell it that the item is now clear for deletion. Obviously the team found one way - using an earlier version of Windows and completely different code - to get around this; but the folks at Evernote are not stupid. If there was an easy way to add the feature I'm sure they would have done it by now. Meantime it's a stunningly simple act to delete files from a folder, or even set up a one-key routine to do it for you. So maybe they feel it isn't be a huge priority...
  21. Is this Win 10 or 11? / Web client or installed? / Evernote version? And please define 'lag' - is that a little, or a lot?
  22. Tasks help here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500003792141 - but no task-specific 'print' I'm afraid. If you put all your tasks in one note, you could print the note...
  23. Hi. All of your devices are linked to Evernote's servers, not to each other. Signing in with your normal credentials on each device should be enough. See https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208313978 for more...
  24. No, they couldn't. That's OK then, because no-one is saying that. The feature does not currently exist however, so short-term fixes are useful. If you decide not to use them, that's also fine. With Evernote concentrating on speed, reliability and AI searches, they don't seem likely to be spending any time tidying up small loose ends like this in the near future, but that's up to them.
