  1. But you do it anyway - even if unintentionally. My use is as heavy and important to me as anyone else's is to them. I'd prefer we stick to the specific issues that are causing us problems rather than claiming some form of high ground and superiority of use. Please...
  2. Until the server was disconnected, Evernote could push messages such as the one in red. The one telling you that the connection is to the server is lost is built into the application itself for just the situation when the server cannot be reached. So no more push messages - just the built in stuff.
  3. It's an old error message generated by the unsupported application which hasn't been updated.
  4. I'd suggest you start at https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/23969193945363-What-to-do-if-you-lost-access-to-your-account-login-email-address
  5. There are no direct Email or phone links. The images that you shared don't look like the current support pages. I'm not clear which page you are clicking on. But for sure, the only people that can help with billing is Evernote support. We are mostly fellow users. Your situation is made more challenging for us since it relates to a Teams account and they don't appear here very often. I don't know any other Teams users who might share their experience. Take a look at this Teams related help page. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/categories/115001650607/ At the bottom is a link to get additional help Submit a Request One the next screen is an Evernote Teams support option
  6. @Eowyn You don't say which versions of the apps you have been using. Nor which versions of Windows and Android are involved. Amazon withdrew Evernote from it's app store on the Kindle Fire. So unless you side loaded v10 of the Evernote app I would expect you to have problems there. Versions of Windows before Win 10 also don't run Evernote v10. So knowing which OS and which versions of Evernote you have been using are relevant to providing advice.
  7. I believe a priority setting is in development with Evernote Tasks but I don't know when it might appear. It all rather depends upon where you store your tasks. If you took a simpler approach and stored everything in a a single note you could have a note called, for example, Priority 1 Tasks, Priority 2 Tasks etc. Then move tasks from note to note as required. Otherwise date sorting is available. I think you are storing Tasks in a note for a project which is better. At the moment I think date sorting is the best thing on offer. Some add coloured emojis in the Task which can give you a visual clue. If you put the emoji at the start of the task title you might find that the sort task title goes by emoji. I haven't tried this but it wouldn't cost a lote to try with a few tasks.
  8. I agree that v10 works. But, sadly, not to recover the unsynced notes that were @sfjdjd's concern 🤕
  9. Once you are signed out of Evernote Legacy, that is the end. There is no way back in since you need to sign into your account and that is no longer possible with Legacy. So there is no option left for you. Sorry!
  10. Yes, this is the soon-to-be-launched Evernote calendar. It is almost certainly on a limited trial or at least on a slow roll-out. I don't see it yet 10.83.5 This calendar is likely to only be of use to those who want a calendar inside Evernote but don't want to link to external calendars. I anticipate that it will, initially, be a desktop thing only. It may presage two-way links to other calendars. We'll see. Now cue all the posts asking why they haven't or when they will get this...
  11. I'm delighted that this is a service you know and are confident with. I can see, from your initial post, that you will be charged 10 cents to your bank to confirm that the account is genuine. This is fairly standard process for credit cards so I imagine you would see the 10 cent charge and then a credit. After that you'll see the €59.99 go though to your account. Has that charge appeared on your bank account? If not, then you could ask Ideal for support. If everything went through as expected then, sadly, you will have to wait for Evernote support to get things resolved. You could ask Ideal to reverse the transaction but that may not get you access to your Evernote account which is, I think, the main issue.
  12. Whatever, don't try earlier than 10.63. These early versions are unlikely to work. Be ready to get automatic updates as well. Staying on an early version is a challenge.
  13. Evernote-backup allows much more flexibility in the final output. You can export individual notes or notebooks. The greatest advantage is that the final output is generally ready for import. The Legacy export of all notes invariably created a single large export that was bigger than the data transfer limits. So I might have had a single backup but it was largely useless since I couldn't recover from it. That's why the recommendation was always to export one notebook at a time. That's what v10 offers. The evernote-backup program does the same but automated everything. There are some limitations that others have reported - I think Evernote Tasks don't export will in the GitHub project. However, I haven't had an issue so GitHub works well for me. I have it run automatically once a week.
  14. Support response times have been truly abysmal since last year. Six days would be quite speedy I'm afraid. I've no idea what Ideal is but I suspect it isn't a relationship direct with Evernote. You will need to hold on for the reply which will eventually arrive. It could be another ten days yet. But I hope you haven't been scammed 😔
  15. Also worth noting that unless your collection of notes is only small, it is likely that attempting to import a backup of all notes will fail because it breaches the data limits. Exporting notebooks has always been a one-at-a-time process from within the apps. The evernote-backup GitHub project uses the Evernote scripting to achieve this outside the apps.
  16. I don't think that there is a date for this. But neither has it been rejected as an option. So patience is all that can be suggested just now.
  17. These are user-to-user support forums so it is unlikely you will get Evernote staff support. In answer to your initial question, ensure you are using the latest desktop application ( evernote.com/download ) Install the latest version of you haven't already done so. Open a note and select the desired option to show our hide the / command prompt. HTH
  18. My understanding is that pro-rated refunds are not offered. Cancel within 60 days and you get a full refund. Thereafter. Nothing. Sorry https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/115010561808-Evernote-Refund-Policy Having just read these Ts&C's there is the hint of a prorated refund in the event of a material change in the service offered. You'll have to make a case a see what the outcome is. I wouldn't hold my breath but you never know.
  19. The Evernote Help & Learning Centre has been significantly updated. This is now the default route to submission of support tickets. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us
  20. Import folders work very reliably for me Win 11 Pro and Evernote 10.82.2 Did you recently upgrade from Legacy? It might be worthwhile completely cleaning out all remnants of Evernote and starting again, with a clean installation. I'd recommend Revo Uninstaller. Once the uninstall is complete, you can recreate the import folder links and see how that goes. As I said, I find import folders generally reliable.
  21. Sooner rather than later. It will be a relatively simple implementation to start with to see how much take up there is.
  22. My suggestion is to log out from Evernote in the browser. Clear out cookies for Evernote. Log back into the web client at evernote.com. Then go to https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new I think that should work although it looks like a new support interface has been launched. Possibly trying to offer more automation of issues such as cancelling subscriptions etc. When selecting the issue in the form, scroll down to report a bug
  23. I am not Evernote staff. The switch to toggle this prompt is in the latest release.
  24. I quite agree. I just took the risk and deleted a shortcut to a note via the 'X'.Tried again with a pre-v10 note. I was relieved that the notes did not disappear.
