Hi.  There's nothing more in the paid version - but you already quoted the answer;  create your note in GDocs or Word and save to searchable PDF.  Attach both files to a note.  You'll be able to see the body of the note on some devices,  and if you become a subscriber the content will be fully searchable.

Hi.  Evernote version? Size of images? - And if you create the content as a normal note and sync it with the server,  does anything get deleted?  If not, you could export that note to ENEX and save it to a desktop file.  Double-clicking the file should create a new note with the same content...

Hi. Users have reported blank displays just after upgrading,  while the app updates itself completely.  Sometimes it takes signing out and back in,  or a complete restart; but no-one I know has been left without notes. 
If this is still an issue for you - OS? Evernote version? device?

Hi.  Finding ways 'around' work restrictions can be dangerous to your career,  so be careful of what you do here...  but if you become a subscriber you could forward emails to your account email address - Save emails into Evernote
Otherwise there's copy and paste,  or 'printing' emails to PDF to attach to notes...

Hi.  The browser web clipper is a separate app from the desktop client. Your Firefox browser is apparently reacting as though the clipper app has just been installed.  Try using the browser settings to remove that extension,  restart your browser and reinstall the extension.  You'll see the welcome page again - hopefully once only this time.

Close it down how?  If you File > Exit correctly it 'should' remember your windows state.

Hi.  All the information that you have uploaded will still be available and visible to you. You may not be able to edit large notes.  PDF files are supported in Basic,  but unless they are 'searchable' PDFs they will not be indexed by the system. 

You got that this is a mainly user-driven site,  right? So to make the biggest impact for your gripe (and maybe get it fixed) you could either post a feature request to see how many others agree with this,  or raise a support ticket for some direct feedback.  Your choice.  I don't actually care at the moment,  because I'm firmly on the Legacy product with updates turned off until things get a little more turned around.

If you could access via the desktop version,  it might be an option to install the Legacy app too - and in one or the other you'd be able to switch off the note body pane and click on the note name just in a note list... but still:  the only way I can think of deleting a note via the web app is to open the Notebook link and click the three dots menu next to the name of the notebook containing your rogue note. 
Choose 'create a new note' so you get to open that new note in the correct notebook but should be able to see the rogue note name in the note list.  Drag that note name to the Trash folder,  and it's (almost) gone.  Then empty the trash to make it happen for real.

Hi.  From a personal point of view I'd say Evernote is a bit of a sledgehammer if you only want to create shopping lists - there are any number of other apps that will do the job (though not all of them move the items around on completion - some cross through the item,  others just vanish it.)
This is as much as Evernote can offer - and no,  there's no re-ordering there either.  Create a checklist

Hi.  I don't think there's any similarity between one user editing one note on two devices,  and someone making a major revision in the architecture of the account - though the underlying cause is pretty much the same thing. 
What's shown and stored on your local device is also synced to the cloud,  and if you are making major changes,  it will take some time for that to synchronise correctly. 
You're moving dozens or hundreds of notes around and the server is trying to play catchup.  It would have been a good idea to carry out any changes over a period,  or leave the account overnight.
Sadly, trying to change what appeared to be happening mid way and reinstalling the app will probably only have made things worse.  If you keep a regular backup of your account,  now might be a time to see whether you can recreate what it looked like yesterday.  If you don't have a backup I can only suggest that you log out overnight and log back in tomorrow to see where the account was left. 
You may have to contemplate a manual repair to complete your reorganisation...

I used Brave for a while,  but never had a problem with clipping - can you disable the various pop-up and cookie blockers and/ or whitelist Evernote anywhere? 

Hi.  When the new note dialogue pops up,  the notebook name should be visible.  If you click on that name you also should be able to assign it to any notebook in your account.

Hi.  Evernote will not save the tool tips.  You'd have to find some software that can save the dozen or so additional tips that are accessed in the text - and I'm not sure how that software could distinguish the tool tips from the page links listed under 'contents' - you'd have to clip it all and have a very large file that takes a significant chunk out of your upload allowance.  The easiest way to access all of this is to clip a bookmark and go to the original page.

Hi.  In Evernote go to Tools > Options > General and untick 'automatically check for updates'.
