Contents of Notes Disappeared

I've discovered since the re-do of Evernote, I have a few notes where the contained links (or entire contents) have disappeared, is there any hope of recovery? I sure wish I had periodically backed up all my notes, or chosen another software package, now, rather than entrusting my life to it.

Hi.  See What to do if content is missing from a note 

And. Having been using computers for a very long time now,  I backup my files daily... just in case...
