Welcome to Evernote Web Clipper! opens upon FF startup

I have reinstalled Evernote on anew Desktop PC. Each time I start my FF browser "Welcome to Evernote Web Clipper!" opens in addition to my homepage. Accept / Decline makes no difference it still appears upon startup.

How can I stop this page from appearing?

Hi.  The browser web clipper is a separate app from the desktop client. Your Firefox browser is apparently reacting as though the clipper app has just been installed.  Try using the browser settings to remove that extension,  restart your browser and reinstall the extension.  You'll see the welcome page again - hopefully once only this time.

Gazumped, thanks for being so kind by responding. I did as you instructed and it worked beautifully.

 

Why I did not think of that I don't know but,  that's why I am grateful for kind people like you.
