  1. Just to note - if you use a third party app to record a standard format, the sound file can be attached to a note and played anywhere that has an app able to do so...
  2. Hi. As far as I know the only current way to automate the process is https://github.com/vzhd1701/evernote-backup
  3. AFAIK clicking a link either opens the linked note, a web page or a local app directly. What device, OS and Evernote versions do you have?
  4. Hi - did you uninstall using Revo Uninstaller Free?
  5. Typical waiting times were 10+ days. Please wait a little longer - you'll get a response soon...
  6. Stop your Paypal payment and downgrade your account to basic (free) - you may be offered a discount along the way. I doubt any codes you may have seen will work, but you may see options to use them during that process...
  7. <sigh> So. Three subscription levels at the new price, plus discounts for new users and to support some shocked leavers. Creating a new cut-price deal would take time and cost a considerable amount, so won't be available in the near future. If you find Evernote worth the cost, please subscribe again; if not, alternative providers await you (and yes, some of them are -currently- free!). Please make your choice and move along - nothing to see here, just (mainly) other subscribers, minding their own business...
  8. Explains my confusion - the Camera options in Evernote seemed to be as good as Scannable, but users -IIRC- preferred Scannable "because you can also do other things" and it seemed like a separate process. If it now requires an Evernote account, there's actually less reason (I would think) to use it as a stand-alone utility, unless you're keeping a separate document store somewhere else. I never ever used it because I'm Windows/ Android linked (but not otherwise a bad person) and Scannable was never released for Android. Ironically I also use Lens for some tasks...
  9. Hi. Please see attached... https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209005927-Managing-users-and-seats
  10. Hi. I'd recommend that you remove your email address - this is a public forum. I'll flag the issue again - using your address - which may help the Support team identify your request. If you can find any references or ticket numbers in your contacts with Evernote please post them here...
  11. As I understood it, the Scannable app is a free utility designed to import images into Evernote Notes - and elsewhere. If you're being tasked to purchase an app it appears your users are also trying to use the trial version of the Evernote note app, something for which it is neither designed nor intended. Using Microsoft Lens will not avoid the requests to subscribe if you are saving to a free app - which also has a limit of 50 notes and one notebook.
  12. Hi. If you're dealing with a batch of notes that need sorting I'd suggest simply tagging each note with the name of the notebook, then select a group of notes by tag or by Shift- or Ctrl-click and use the pop-up menu to assign them to the correct notebook and apply any additional tags or remove the notebook one. Also right-clicking a single note pops up the move option, as does clicking to the right of the notebook icon in the header or the three dots menu in a single note. Drag and drop is also an option.
  13. @Mike P & @ouzel - apologies: I looked for a note with mixed text and graphics in my account today for several minutes - and couldn't find one. It's apparently my habit to clip content, but not to add commentary, or to use Evernote to create detail documents or presentations - or at least I don't do it often... I can copy my notes easily because they're mostly single content. I created a text/image/text mixture, and yes - I got the text, but not the image. Sorry for my confusion!
  14. Tired of these discussions now. There are currently 3 levels of Evernote subscription - Personal / Professional / Teams. The only choice any of us has is to either pick an acceptable level, or find an alternative provider. At Evernote's discretion there are some incentive discounts around for both new and existing customers. It's clear many potential and former users would like more or different features, and cheaper prices; but while that may be in the future I prefer to deal with current reality.
  15. I disagree that there are constant surprise updates or that you can't copy paste - but if you no longer feel you can use Evernote then of course you should find an alternative.
  16. The 'official' way to backup your data is by downloading and exporting notebooks from the server to ENEX / HTML / PDF files from a desktop app. If you have a large number of notebooks this needs to be automated somehow. There's a Github project (Evernote-Backup) which will do this for you.
  17. Hi. Have you tried uninstalling the current version, powering the phone off and on again and then reinstalling/
  18. I get that it's a shock, but it's the new price (unless you get a discount). If the service is not worth it to you, then best find an alternative soon...
  19. Evernote had a stable of 'grandfathered' products - customers who subscribed to a now-discontinued limited product that was no longer available, but were able to continue to use the app at that level, without any of the recent updates. Plus of course the 'free' contract with most of the standard benefits but much restricted access. Evernote's new owners have simplified all of the above - Free is now very much a trial product, and there are three subscription levels - Personal, Professional and Teams (business). If you are not already on one of those levels you will probably be offered a nice discount to continue for another year. If you're already subscribing to one of them you'll continue at that rate. Subscriptions vary somewhat around the world for reasons of currency, tax and economics.
  20. Hi. I think you have to be a great deal more specific about what content you want to copy, and - ideally - supply some examples of what used to work and now does not. I can copy and paste pretty much any combination I wish of text and graphics in Windows 11 and Evernote 10.74.1 into Typora / Office 365 / LibreOffice but maybe my choices are less ambitious than yours, or sourced from different websites. There are situations in which a direct copy/ paste does not work, but using the desktop as an intermediary - i.e. paste source to desktop, copy desktop item, paste desktop to destination will work. I don't believe the general situation has changed, and I haven't seen 'countless' other requests for the facility - maybe share an "uncopyable" note with us so we can see more clearly what you mean? (NB This is a public forum - don't include any personal information!) -and some of those 'trivial' tweaks have vastly increased Evernote's speed and security - more practical applications are promised this year... 21. You are posting in the Teams (Business) thread and did not confirm which version of Evernote you're using.
