  1. YMMV, but I'm looking at notes with highlighted content. I just typed "accord" for instance and got several hits - some titles, but also this... - which does not have that word in the title...
  2. Sorry - should have explained more clearly. When you're using the Android app, you do tap the magnifying glass icon to open the search page. Type your query in the search box. DO NOT tap further to start the search - I have a magnifying glass icon on my keyboard which I tended to tap like a 'return' key. This just generates a spinning arrow. Your search hits should start soon after you finish typing.
  3. Hi. When you search, do you tap the magnifying glass icon to start the search? Try entering search terms and NOT tapping the icon - in my Android, the hits start to appear after a few seconds. Not sure why that's the case, but search works - just don't tap the icon!
  4. Hi. We're a -mainly- user-supported Forum, not the Evernote support team, so they don't reply to individual queries. Staff do read the posts, but there's a lot of traffic for them to catch up on. You could try Twitter and @Evernotehelps to see if they have any suggestions, but there are quite a few iOS users around here (sadly, not me...) and if there were a good answer to this thread, I'd imagine it would have been posted by now. It is odd that you're seeing a consistent old note though, because I understood that mobile devices don't store actual note content - it's downloaded when requested. Do you have any way to clear the caches on your device? Quitting Evernote and restarting might be a thing to look at... (caveat: I'm NOT an iOS user...!)
  5. Hi. You have paste and match style option in Edit, as well as simplify / remove formatting. It's also possible to paste to a text only notepad and copy/ paste from there into a note. Is none of this suitable?
  6. Hi. Haven't seen anything to say that Evernote is working on additional integrations, but as with Google Drive it's already possible to add a link to any cloud drive file as a note attachment. Google files just get a slightly fancier link.
  7. Might be worth a chat with Zapier to see what they could do with the Outlook meeting other than send it to Evernote. Could Zapier generate your template as an email? They're one service I don't use much, so uncertain how flexible they can be.
  8. I have no experience with this sort of issue, but I wonder - could you output your report as a PDF document or an HTML email and simply send that already-formatted file to Evernote for inclusion in a note?
  9. AFAICS it's possible to dnd most files, except PDFs need to be 'saved as attachment' before the action. If you're having particular issues, why not raise a ticket and see what Evernote have to say?
  10. I guessed so. I have the same experience with Outlook - original emails get moved to Evernote where I can still open them in Outlook but they're grouped by project / transaction rather than by title or conversation. There's never been a way (AFAIK) to dnd the original .MSG file directly, via the desktop is the only route.
  11. Best option to get direct feedback would be to raise this as a support request (this is a -mainly- user supported forum).
  12. Hmmn. Have a look at the Evernote marketing webinar on Youtube here. CEO Ian Small comments - after a little while - that he is only too aware of Evernote's frustrations, and in fact before he became CEO he 'fired' Evernote as his note-taker of choice because of that. He seems committed to fixing the frustrations, soon* - which encouraged me, anyways. *I'm guessing for values of 'soon' greater than this week, and (hopefully) less than next year...
  13. I've been getting crashes over the past few days - nothing I noticed after updating the app, but just this last week. I'll run a search or close a note, and instead of sitting in the background, the window disappears and I have to kill 2 tray applications in TM, and then restart. There's no loss of data that I've noticed, but I'm up to 4 crashes so far...
  14. Hi. Can you drag and drop to the desktop, then re-select and drag/ drop to Evernote?
  15. Just had to test to check, but as of 2 years ago, this "bug" seems to have been fixed. What versions of Evernote and OS are you running, and on what device?
  16. Hi. Have you tried the other web version (switch in Settings) or either version in a different browser?
  17. Hi. Check these out - there's more if you search the forums
  18. I appreciate it's not for everyone, but my take on the above is always to scan to (Windows) folder. Then I can rename and OCR/ edit files using Acrobat and transfer them to Evernote in one batch. Rotating (if necessary) and straightening are part of standard OCR.
  19. Hi. Have you tried the standard sync/ uninstall/ restart/ reinstall? And what version of Evernote are you running? (See Settings / Support) Mine is 8.9 and search works - provided you just type in the search term - don't tap anything else!
  20. Literally you create a saved search containing the bolded text from my previous post - which is more easily done in my Windows desktop account - and save it as a shortcut. When I open my Android app the shortcuts are still visible and usable. Your mileage may vary in iOS, but I can run a saved search and see a list of results on my mobile any time. You can vary the minus number to change the previous period being looked for. My current choices say: "show me the notes from the notebook <medical> that were created in the past 5 days".
  21. Generally things might be changing for the better - have a look at @ObviousBob's thread here...
  22. Assuming that you still have access to searches, what about a saved search for notebook:<medical> created:day-5 to get the last few days of notes in one screen? The number of days is optional, of course.
  23. Hi. Why not use a specific notebook for your medical history, and save each day's (or hour's) notes as separate notes with the date (and time, if it's significant) in the title? Sort that notebook by title and the latest note will be at the top. Tip: use yyyymmdd format for the date, as in 20190412 1807 to correctly sort into a timeline. Evernote generally works best with short notes - they're easier to manage, and - should the worst happen, and you lose or corrupt a note - all you lose is one event, not an entire year of history! (That doesn't replace keeping regular backups too, though)
  24. Hmmn. Maybe that's why I thought my search was working before... Type a query and wait, and the hits turn up. Tap the magnifying glass and the hits disappear in favour of an endlessly circling green arrow. Use a saved search and there's a blue bar at the top of the screen that refreshes and refreshes... and then it's just a blank white screen...
  25. Hmmn. Don't know how to get back to the option. You'll find out soon enough if it is enabled...
