  1. I have Evernote 6.24 public - which says it's the latest version - and I hadn't noticed any changes.. but I don't use Emojis very much normally.
  2. Hi. This is a (mainly) user-supported Forum. As a subscriber you can use the Support link on Evernote's web pages to request help from the company.
  3. Hi. Where are you sourcing the "tweet URL"? and are you looking for complete threads, or individual tweets? And what about the HTML that allows you to embed a feed into a website? Would that give you the information that you need? On first thought tweets are usually sent or received by one of the many interfaces available from Buffer to Tweetdeck (& Twitter) and all points in between. Some of those apps also have the ability to save copies 'elsewhere', though whether that means Evernote or an Evernote compatible interface I have no idea. I'm guessing you could also use one of the (many) Evernote automation options like Filterize, IFTTT or Zapier to process the result further. There are a lot of interface options available, but which one(s) might offer the features you need, only you could tell. There's no dedicated software that I can think of - and no coding sites that specifically link to Evernote's API. It's an interesting thought, but I doubt it would be worth your while to develop the software individually - unless you have lots of time to kill with no immediate prospect of return.. apart from nicely formatted notes.
  4. Hi. A few Chrome users would argue with you about the 'lesser' browser in the Firefox vs Chrome situation, but since BOTH of them need cookies - which mainly record your preferences last time you were at that site - I guess you won't be using either options...
  5. Hmmn. To be honest: never tried. Evernote is my go-to app for quick notes and reminders; I tend to use other word-processing software for longer drafts and documents - and I assume none of them have much in the way of hands free options. Can't suggest anything useful here, but there are a lot of smart people in the Forum - maybe there is a solution out there somewhere...
  6. Hi. We're a (mainly) user-supported forum, so unless someone else chose this particular device and pen combination, chances are no-one here can really comment. Have you asked Uogic whether they have any ideas? Given the zillion input devices out there, I doubt Evernote would have any clue about what is, or is not, compatible.
  7. Hi. There have been comments about the web client logging users out in an excess of security concern before. Don't think its a bug, and there are no (AFAIK) work arounds.. sorry.
  8. So I read back through the thread - Evernote never offered a complete hands-free audio option, and with "OK Google" or (my case) "OK Galaxy" I can ask for lots of things. There's an IFTTT action here that might be of assistance - but if that's not enough: what do you need? https://ifttt.com/applets/482767p-create-a-note-in-evernote-using-google-assistant
  9. Hmmn. Very difficult to say what could be causing this - do you use a firewall or VPN software? If you have notes that have not synced back to the server I would suggest that you export the database as an ENEX file to ensure you don't lose any information, then try uninstalling Evernote and restarting your system / reinstalling the account to try to gain access. If you use Twitter, contact @EvernoteHelps to report the issue.
  10. Hi. Depending on your writing, you should find that imaged notes are still searchable in Evernote. The app does not, and never has translated handwriting to text characters, whatever it says on the help pages. Having said which: if you take a picture of a business card and tap the thumbnail before you save it, make sure the picture options there say 'save as business card' and you'll find the name, phone number and email address are shown as copyable text fields. Linkedin lookups and the like no longer happen - I think Linkedin removed the API for external lookups.
  11. Hi. I bow to your superior knowledge - although I think you're probably wrong. The error message in that thread is completely different. I pointed out in another thread (that I can't be bothered to find) that Evernote subscribers can raise their issues by email directly with company Support (we're a -mainly- user-driven Forum) where they can share logs and generally help Evernote work out what's happening. Basic users have access to a Facebook Forum and @EvernoteHelps on Twitter. Evernote don't (usually) comment on individual issues in the Forums here - and being a public forum open to all it's not the place to share logs or personal information which might be required to fully investigate any issues. Good luck with your clip.
  12. Hi. The 'error' isn't fixable (or an error). The clue is in the wording - "due to restrictions set by the browser". The owner of that page apparently doesn't want you copying the content, or the type of page has a generic restriction on copying. If you're seeing a PDF try downloading the file (as in: Save As...) or highlight and copy/ paste the section. There are also numerous "page to PDF" and page copy / screen shot utilities out there that can grab part of the content as an image or a PDF so you can attach it to a note.
  13. Hi. I also use Firefox (occasionally) but without apparent problems. If any subscribers with these issues raise the matter with Support (this is a -mainly- user-driven Forum) so that Evernote can get a handle on it, then maybe there can be a fix. Any non-subscribers, try the Evernote community on FaceBook or Twitter @EvernoteHelps to advise Evernote. Everyone else, the generic advice is: Restart your system Remove and re-install the extension Start Firefox in 'safe' mode and see if the problem goes away; if so, enable other extensions one at a time until you find a conflict. If nothing else helps, there are (less attractive) options as work-arounds, not least - copy and paste content into a note and save the URL manually. If you find a fix or a viable alternative, please post here!!
  14. Hi. There's already a "Paste to Evernote" shortcut (Ctrl+Alt+V is the Windows default)
  15. Hmmn. No easy way that I know - other than maybe recording individual macros for each desktop and saving the individual mouse movements appropriate to that screen under a unique key code.
  16. Hi. I don't remember anyone else raising this.. ever.. but that doesn't mean it's not a fair point, and if it applies to all non-English keyboards, it's certainly something which needs to be on Evernote's radar. If you use Facebook or Twitter I'd suggest messaging them direct to add some emphasis, but it will be interesting to get some other language feedback on this.
  17. Hi. Evernote can not be integrated with the calendar directly, but these pages may help explain more... How to integrate Evernote with your calendar How to attach Google Drive files to notes
  18. Hi. No clue as to the difference, but I suspect it would be for marketing and/ or for the type of hints and suggestions you receive. There is no difference in the features and performance of the basic account regardless of your intended use. That said, we're a mostly user-supported Forum - you might get more details on the difference from Evernote on Facebook or Twitter @EvernoteHelps
  19. Hi. What is "Evernote International Web Clipper data" ?? As far as I know Evernote Clipper saves to the Evernote server which syncs with Evernote applications installed on various devices. A desktop device connected with that account can export its notes to an ENEX file, and that file can be used to import those notes into another account, or to restore notes to a new or corrupted installation. How to export content from Evernote
  20. Yeah - by the time I finished writing the last post it had still not finished loading! I did forget to say that sometimes saving a post to Pocket is a better option; read at your leisure and save bits to Evernote as necessary...
  21. Hi. I think from previous posts in the forums we've gathered that a large clip can generate the wrong size error - it'll say upload limit when it means note size. I ran the URL before I started typing here, and my browser is still loading the images, which suggests they're pretty huge. In fact copying the one image which has now downloaded gives me a 20MB file so 5 or 6 that size will be a problem. You could try save-to-disk individually on the images, or a generic save the whole page operation (to PDF) locally, and then maybe some extra compression on the PDF file if that is still huge. It boils down to: Clipper is pretty good at most articles and images, but every so often you'll find something which is not so easy to get. Ingenuity may then be required...
  22. Is there not an 'add to dictionary' option if you right-click? (Depends on how many variations of kg weights you use, I guess...)
