  1. Please re-post the in the correct forum with details of your Evernote version and the file type(s) causing your issue.
  2. You might want to explain what you're posting about in more detail... why are we talking about a registry cleaner exactly?
  3. Hi. Is this a feature request or a bug report? Evernote has never pretended to be a page layout editor like Word or Google docs - notes are collections of text and images, copies of web pages, and sometimes one or more embedded files. If a photo-image of the note is required, then printing it to PDF, or taking a screen shot, is the closest you'll get. As I and all of my forum frequent flyer colleagues have often said - if you need a specific layout, use the word processor to assemble your note and attach that file to the note for further editing or printing as necessary. With their new coding base it's possible that Evernote will incorporate more layout features in future - but they're a bit committed to the Never Ending Project of getting v10 back to the speed and functionality of Legacy. It may help you to share more on this with Support, or if you wish we can move it to the Feature Request area to see how many other users agree that more page layout functions should be included...
  4. Not sure I follow... can you give more detail? Notebooks typically sort in alphabetic order, but can be grouped into Stacks, and both stacks and notebooks can be 'encouraged' into different orders by adding prefixes or codes to the titles "A100 - Marigold" forinstance.
  5. Hi. First question has to be: why are you messing with an exported file when Evernote would normally have your notes archived on the server. Have you logged into your original account to see what downloads from the server? If that's not practical, have you tried importing your notes into the Legacy product? (I'm not sure whether v10 will import HTML). We're mainly user-to-user here, so I'm not aware of any 'bugs' being reported in this area - but that's not signifcant; I'm just a user. If the resolution of this issue is sufficiently important to you, you may want to consider becoming a subscriber to get access to email support...
  6. Hi. Was KIV part of a note / notebook shared to you? Have you tried signing out of Evernote and back in? Restarting your device? Uninstall / restart / reinstalling?
  7. Hi. This is a (mainly) user-supported Forum with few (if any) developers present - the best place to get some feedback on API questions is here - https://dev.evernote.com/
  8. Or it's the difference between Apple shop prices and Evernote. You're lucky still to have the Plus option if you've switched to Premium - I didn't think there was any going back!
  9. Hi. Are you basing this on more than the fact that you're having a little difficulty with this specific operation? If so, please share. I'd say the fact you can't find a better program suggests that most folks don't find this a particular issue... I'd suggest you raise this with Support - in the Legacy version I'm finding that focus jumps to the 'copy' note, - which if you have a note list showing notes in created or updated date, or title order - should be right next to the original. If that's not an omission from v10 they should pass the issue to developers for a future update...
  10. Oops! missed that bit. ...Although if quick/ frequent access to that file is important you could consider saving it to a cloud server (Google Docs, et al) and adding a link to that file to your desktop. It'll open up immediately. You can still have a link in your notes too, which will work from other locations; but the desktop link will be quick and easy from that device. (Evernote isn't always the best home for your files...)
  11. Hi. Find the note containing your file. Click the three dots menu in the note body and choose 'copy note link'. Create a desktop shortcut. Create internal note links
  12. Hi. My profile picture (it's not the Gorilla) is here - https://www.evernote.com/secure/ProfileSettings.action. AFAIK Evernote doesn't pull anything into your account, but if you didn't upload a picture I'd suggest you try https://twitter.com/evernotehelps or the community pages on Linkedin and Facebook for more information. We're mainly just jobbing users around here...
  13. To be clear, it is quite possible to copy text and images from a note to an external document - you 1) simply have to know how to do it and 2) copy one element at a time. In this case (as I understand it) we're talking about a mixed document containing both text and images and the complaint was that you can't copy and paste the whole thing as one element. It's true: you can't. But you can easily use a word-processor to create the document and attach it to your file so that the whole thing copies and prints just fine. If that wasn't done in advance you could still print to PDF rather than 'exporting' and edit that file later. Evernote is still bug fixing and enhancing v10 on all platforms so they may plan to look at this issue next time they make any changes to the editor - users are usually the last to know when any features are being enhanced or added.
  14. Hi. We're mainly user2user here so unless someone has a brilliant work-around you'd be better off talking to Support - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new I don't believe there's any way to remove shared notes or tags from the share-ee's account, but maybe they could help you create a new account and move your existing content across without the shared data.
  15. Google strongly advises against installing apps from anywhere other than the play store - but then they control both the OS and the store so would prefer to dissuade users from looking elsewhere... and Google have had to remove popular apps from the play store because they have been found to contain malware - so they're not infallible either! There is a slight risk if you install a third-party APK, but if you choose one that has been used by others, you can be reassured that no-one has found any drawbacks... yet. It's up to you to judge whether the reward is worth any risk. But do backup your contacts and pictures, and remember to block updates from the play store when you install.
  16. Hi. If you go to https://www.evernote.com/Settings.action you should see your single Evernote email address. There's an option to reset it, but you'll get a random choice - as @MvdH suggested, save it as a contact in your email client and/ or set up rules to forward your mail directly if it's from certain sender addresses or contains keywords. You should not have more than one address unless you have more than one Evernote account - check which is correct at the link above and regard anything else with suspicion!
  17. I can confirm the interestingly named options, but I've been with Evernote since it had a till-roll display and I think more recent converts might only have one other option to the current default. Check 'account info' and 'Evernote Web' (scroll down) for any options...
  18. According to the recent alerts everyone should have had, new product levels are being launched "soon" - though Evernote's definition of that word seems to be a bit variable... 😏
  19. I believe this is what we in the technical community refer to as 'something bad happened with the update'. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app from Evernote.com?
  20. Hi. We're mainly users around these forums - for more specialised help: https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new
  21. There's plenty of discussion here, but AFAICS very little agreement about what is the 'best' replacement. @TechPerplexed is right though - what's right for one may not be right for another. Google Keep might be an easy off-the-shelf replacement, or for a technical bespoke database try Notion. Most of the options have a free trial level so it's easy to look around...
  22. Hi. Is this a third-party PDF or your own document? And was it already searchable, or has it been indexed by Evernote? If you can open the PDF in a reader outside of Evernote you should be able to search for that term in another app. Can't comment in detail because I'm not an iOS-user; sorry...
  23. Hi. How about if you copy the image to your desktop and then into Powerpoint?
  24. A third-party subscription app - Filterize - can perform batch changes within Evernote files and (I think) can retrieve dates from the note body to add to the metadata or title. You'd need to check out what's possible, but if nothing else comes up... https://filterize.net/
