  1. Hmmn. Seems a little odd - I'm not heavily into tasks, so unless one of my colleagues here has anything more concrete you could try raising this with Support - (these Forums are mainly user 2 user) subscribers can raise support queries here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new and all users here - https://twitter.com/evernotehelps (or via the feedback option in the mobile client).
  2. The way I read that section is that the limit applies to notes saved to your personal template 'store' as official templates. One other way to create a template is to have a Template notebook containing 'parent' notes, and then to copy or duplicate the parent note each time you need a document in that format. AFAIK there is no limit on how many unofficial 'templates' you could create in that format. Likewise the ENEX option - exported notes do not count toward your total.
  3. Hi. I'm not aware of any such suggestions - is this always for the same task, or is it a selection of things relevant to what you're currently doing / what's in your calendar? Can you provide any more detail as to exactly what is being suggested?
  4. I'd expect that to hit some sort of limit at maybe 1000 notes... I'm still on 8.13.3 and can't find an easy notes total - but why do you need one? Your mobile does not store all the notes, just a search index so you can download the latest version(s) of notes from the server. What's actually on your device is just temporary storage. If you can see a notes total on your desktop, that would be the same for the mobile app.
  5. Also... Are you a subscriber? Free users don't (I think) get this option. Did you sync your account? A brand new unsynced note won't 'template'. Worst case - sync your note and export it as an ENEX file to your desktop. Double-click the file to generate a new note with that content.
  6. Hi. I thought all subscribers had access to Support - I'd guess out of 200M users, there aren't too many Plus users left so no-one thought it necessary to make a special mention of a deprecated product. Support have a 'guest' option and (I think) will accept any request that comes under the 'account' category, so you could at least try tp get some help... and It ain't a 'bug' until a lot of people suffer from it. If, as it appears, it's just you on this one, your problems may be purely home grown. Try the Revo uninstall if you haven't already, and check through the standard fixes in case there's something there that you missed. Tips for troubleshooting syncing issues Other things you could try to further investigate your issue - if you have another email address, try setting up a new 'free' account and see whether that has the same experience. If you don't have an email address, and haven't already done so, try setting up Legacy for your existing account.
  7. We'll look forward to your further reports of life on the edge with Evernote and W7! (But it might be an idea to trade up as soon as you can....) Good Luck!!
  8. I'm in S Wales, currently rocking 33C and my main desktop has crashed from heat exhaustion. Tell me about it!! Edit (translating for the US) - 90F+ we Brits are unused to this!!
  9. Hi. I use Filterize and have a 'lot' of notebooks (300+) - it's actually easier to ask Filterize to tag and move notes based on source email addresses and keywords. I just get all my emails sent to the standard email address and leave sorting them out to Filterize. It's easy(ish) to set up something called 'parameterisation' where I have one note containing a table with keywords / tags / notebooks in a table. Filterize then does a lookup of my table against every new note - "if note contains <keyword> add <tag(s)> and move to <notebook>". Editing or adding new rules is just a question of opening the reference note and adding / changing cells.
  10. As a matter of interest what are you currently doing? Accepting the random images or copy/ pasting into new notes as above? If you haven't already tried it, a longer method might be to create a Table of Contents note listing your patterns, using a two-column table layout. Use the note link in one cell and add your preferred image in the cell next to it.
  11. Hi. The URL I posted seemed to do that pretty well, but have a look through the other help pages on this product - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/4409187718931 Just for guidance - this is a (mainly) user-supported forum. If you're in need of more specialised guidance try this link - https://evernote.com/teams/contact
  12. Hi. There's no option that I can think of... and scripting is currently disabled. You might try automation apps like Zapier... ???
  13. Hi. You should be able to right-click an image and get a drop down menu which will include some Evernote options, one of which is 'clip image to Evernote' which will avoid any screenshot or full page copies. From the two images you posted above it looks like 1) the box wasn't around the whole image when you clipped, and 2) the picture is inset on the page, which might explain the left-hand void in your pic after 'clip page'. Using the right-click method I got this from the web page without any great drama -
  14. Hi. If you've been reading around the forums you'll be aware that we are (mainly) all users here, and if you've been able to find any solutions, you've probably already seen everything that's on offer. If you've not already done so, you could try rebuilding your local database - Evernote > Preferences; uncheck "Keep data when leaving“ Log out/ quit EN (File menu or Cmd-Q) Uninstall from device Restart device Reinstall Log back into Evernote and wait for the initial sync - which could take some time if you have a lot of notes... If that doesn't work, try Support.
  15. Hi. Take a look at Evernote Teams - I think that would do everything you require... https://evernote.com/teams
  16. Hi. The Forums here are mainly user2user so we don't have any input on user logins. Contact Support for assistance in setting up a different access to change your email.
  17. Hi. Have you tried saving the screen clip to your desktop and then copy/ pasting from there? Windows clipboard is weird sometimes...
  18. Random thought here, but are you trying to connect two separate, distinct GCal calendar accounts to Evernote? I know 'Professional' users can have multiple calendars - which I assumed to be different calendars in the same Gmail account. This comment reads like you have two separate Gmail accounts and are connecting both their calendars, which I would have thought would be a problem for Google, much less Evernote...
  19. If it's a brand new note, there shouldn't be any links. But yes, this is Evernote 101 - if you have created a link to a specific note, you'd have to recreate the link when that note was duplicated. Since they both should have identical titles, finding it shouldn't be too hard...
  20. Hi. I'm sure Evernote is technically able to connect with Google drive - they do integrate with single files stored there; but given that an Import Folder is an open pipe into your account, it's possibly a security issue. It may also be something that the app checks on when Evernote is opened, so if you want to work offline the app would throw an error... I don't specifically know, these are just my suggestions; but as the pop-up makes clear - it's by design, so not (AFAIK) negotiable. For a more official explanation - contact Support!
  21. Hi. Sorry but there are only two solutions here - subscribe (even if only for a month or two) to immediately sort out your devices, or wait out the suspension. Understanding the device limit
  22. Not especially - Evernote investigated the issue and patched the update. See above...
  23. The Forum isn't a route to Support - we're mainly all users here; but we do have an employee as the Forum Admin so I've reported this thread to see whether they can be of any assistance. As you already know, the route to Support is via Contact https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new - if you have problems with that, use 'account' from the drop-down options as an issue type, or use the help/ feedback link from one of the mobile apps. As @Paul A. suggested, there's also https://twitter.com/evernotehelps - and, if all else fails, the Support page has a 'guest' option to logging in - like Elon says: just read the instructions!
