  1. Unless you also have scrolling problems, you've hijacked someone else's thread on a different topic. Please post a separate query.
  2. If your concern is that Postach.io will not link to your Evernote account, were you linking it to the Teams account or to your personal Evernote database? I'm not sure that Postach.io would be able to link to the Teams account - user access (I believe) is subject to suitable authority being provided by the admin. I'm using a Postach.io connection on a was-premium / now professional account. Access problems with a business account might be down to local security - firewall or anti-virus blocking.
  3. Hi. No special information here - we're mostly users in the Forums; best place for actual technical information is via Support. However I'm not surprised that Evernote 'phones home' on launch - you're dealing with a server-based database and background syncing - it seems reasonable that there would be some admin and security aspects to deal with on connection.
  4. Hi. Print it to a PDF file and then attach that file to an Evernote note?
  5. Actually I believe the subscription is meant to cover things like software and storage and web access - but I agree, access to Support is also good. As (apparently) a Teams user, you should have an in-house manager for your account, who will have access to the business support unit. If you're dealing with your individual personal account then you should be able to see a 'continue as a guest' option as well as the log-in link. Whilst I appreciate you were looking for the 'official' support team, we can often be a good second option - can you give us some details of *why* you were so keen to get in touch?
  6. Hi. You're responding to an OLD post - and I think the one before you (4 years ago) was spam anyway - but either way: welcome to the forums. We're mainly users here, but let us know if we can help in any way
  7. That's easy - there's a third-party app called Backupery which will export each notebook in your account to either an ENEX or HTML file. It works on the installed desktop database in Windows and Mac - and obviously doesn't translate to v10 because there is no local database (that we're aware of...). There are other services like CloudHQ that will work with the server copy of your data (and I believe Backupery is going that way too) so backing up from v10 should become possible in future, and -maybe- Evernote will wake up to the fact that data backups would reduce their support calls because we'd all be able to handle lost or corrupted data issues from our own resources... and actually provide a built-in service to export all notebooks to separate files. I wait, as they say, with interest, to see where this goes. Meantime I keep my powder backups dry and trust in Backupery!
  8. Thanks for the heads-up. I think I've used Note History about twice in 14 years, and clearly not in situations where I'd notice any shortfall in the data restored since this was news to me! I do keep an exported backup of my database which would cover this situation, but since it also involves running Legacy and using an external app to export the data I had planned on giving up. Maybe I'll hold off doing that for a while... A 'proper' backup system within Evernote v10 might answer both our concerns though - ATM it's possible but just a pain to get backup copies. If it were easier, backed up notes would be a good option to have if a simple restore didn't contain the data you need...
  9. Hi. This is a (mainly) user supported Forum, so we can't advise when or if ENscript is coming back. If you can share with us what that app did for you, maybe we can suggest some work-arounds? As @PinkElephant mentioned, Evernote Legacy still exists, and will work with ENscript - I have one ongoing backup operation which depends on both. But there are other automation options with v10 that may help fill the gap if you need them... See Zapier and Filterize as example...
  10. There's a contradiction here - Evernote do read Forum posts for feedback and general information, but with thousands of posts per day they may not read this one for weeks or months. They literally can't give your request here any priority at all... To get a high priority - or at least make sure the company see you request in a timely manner - make sure you give the feedback via one of the apps, or contact Support.
  11. Hmph. Thanks - less of a 'free trial' though, more of a 'cooling off period' I guess - if you don't get on with the app, at least you are guaranteed it won't cost you in that initial period. Note: asking us to cancel the trial doesn't count - this is a (mainly) user supported page! Notify Support! -And as a general rule; you can still have an time-unlimited free trial of Evernote using the 'free' app. It does not have all the features of the subscription versions, but you can verify that it installs / syncs and is capable of being set up in the way that you will need in future. Upgrades are (or should be) pretty seamless from there!
  12. ...But depending on your needs there are work-arounds. Create a 'calendar' notebook and start note titles with a date and time in yyyymmdd hhmm format, Sort your notes by title, and you have a timeline for dated notes. Tasks means you can have repeats too. There are several 'calendar note templates too.
  13. See @PinkElephant's comments earlier in this thread - Evernote are already working on this issue and -hopefully- will issue updates whenever they can. Individual issues can be raised with Support.
  14. Hi. Are you sure that you have the right application? I'm not aware of any '14-day free trial' option - Evernote is available from https://evernote.com/download and it is COMPLETELY FREE for as long as you wish to use it within some fairly narrow limits. Maybe you can post the URL of the page where you signed up?
  15. Hi. You may have missed that commenters in the Forums are mainly other users - contact Support or use the feedback option from any app to deal with Evernote direct. To be fair, the company has already said that it is looking at its sync processes, and has already added some upgrades. There was a recent hiccup when an update introduced new issues with sync. The company has already reacted to correct the issue. Further updates are ongoing.
  16. Since everyone seems to agree this is a good idea I moved the thread into the votable Feature Requests area - add your vote at top left of the page.
  17. Hey @Mike P would you mind sharing where you found the old installer? A lot of people (I would imagine) will probably accept the update to 10.42.7 without any worries, and if they then find issues it would be good to have a tried and tested method to jump back while things get fixed. (I'd expect Evernote to react pretty swiftly on this, and hopefully no further action would be necessary, but I'd rather be ready just in case...)
  18. Thanks for the correction - not sure whether that was typo or brain fade...
  19. Bearing in mind that we're (mostly) all users here, and Evernote (AFAIK) aren't into mind-reading, AND it would appear that not everyone is having the same experience, otherwise it would be a lot busier around here... I can only suggest that anyone who has a bad experience should reach out to Support to see whether they're aware, and/ or have any suggestions to fix this. Since they'll almost certainly ask you to do this anyway - if you haven't already done the uninstall / power off & on / reinstall dance, now would be a good time to try that.
  20. Hi, Can you confirm your Evernote version? There seem to be some issues with the latest one - 10.41.7
  21. ...What everyone else said: also - images are searchable, and receipts can be scanned to searchable PDFs, so despite all of this organisation, saved searches for a car tag (or other keyword) should get you all the relevant paperwork...
  22. Hmmn. I'm still waiting for the Windows update - will comment when it comes through!
