  1. Evernote no longer produces an app for the Kindle devices but you don't need to go through all of these shenanigans like apkmirror. Just use the browser and log in to Evernote.com. It seems to work fine. Make sure you select the option that allows you to stay in for 30 days. You probably don't want to close that tab when you're done using the program. My guess is that it takes a long time to fire back up if you do.
  2. I am trying to find out if I have any notes that were not assigned a tag. Hey, sometimes I forget to assign one! Back in the day, I would look at the Notes List View and select Tags. The notes would sort in alphabetical order, with all notes in a given notebook organized by tag. Obviously, tags starting with the letter A would be toward the top. Notice I said "toward the top". This is because at the very top would be notes without a tag. I could find all notes that I forgot to assign to a tag-- so I could retroactively assign tags to all such notes. I noticed that trying to find notes without a tag--in a given notebook in Notes List View-- can't be done the old way. How can I find notes in a notebook that haven't yet been assigned a tag? Thanks
  3. I have assigned a Tag to each and every one of my several thousand plus notes over the past five years. Starting about a week ago, a problem arose: When using the Windows version of Evernote, each tag has notes dating back only a few weeks. Anything earlier is missing. This also happened about a year ago but it was fixed, presumably by tech at Evernote. Hope the tech people at Evernote pick up on it in this newest version. Fortunately, Tags work well when I use Microsoft Edge or Firefox instead of the PC version of Evernotes. Has anyone seen this? Is there a fix? Did I filter something inadvertently?
  4. Hi Mike. By "brand new", I mean about 6 weeks. I've had several Evernote for Windows updates during that time. The Windows version of Evernote doesn't have any notes after June if viewing by Tag rather than by Notebook. But the notes themselves are in the Windows version of Evernote. Here's how I know: If I look at the notebook itself without restricting the view to the Tag option, they are all there. The Tag view is the issue. This is not the case when I use Firefox and login to my account. On Firefox, the Tag views are perfect.
  5. Using the newest version of Evernote's Windows app (on a brand spanking new Windows computer that has the most current version of Windows), I looked up all the notes with a certain tag. The most recent was two months old. However, I knew that I added additional notes with this tag during the past two months. I logged into Evernote on the cloud using Firefox. There they were. But not in the Windows version. I screen clipped an example. The tag is called Health. You can see the notes in the Windows version are not up to date, whereas the Firefox cloud version works just fine. Good luck.
  6. The feature looks great but I can't use it until I can set a monthly reminder or weekly reminder for each task. Thanks
  7. Dragging the scroller one quarter of an inch brings me three months backwards in my notes. If anyone from Evernote reads this, please fix this scrolling annoyance. Maybe dragging the scroller two inches should go back one week, not a quarter inch going back three months.
  8. I'll get to the blank notes and a solution in a second. First I want to complain about another issue, namely, the annoyance of trying to scroll through a week's worth of notes and realizing that dragging the scroller one quarter of an inch brings you back three months. If anyone from Evernote reads this, please fix this scrolling annoyance. Maybe dragging the scroller two inches should go back one week, not a quarter inch going back three months. Now, back to the blank page issue. The issue is that notes in Windows suddenly become blank. This is fixed after removing and reinstalling the program. Until I search by Tag and suddenly, all of the notes become blank again. And again. The titles are in the side window, but the notes themselves are blank. The solution is easy. Download Microsoft Edge if you don't have it. I normally use Firefox but there's something about Evernote that annoys Firefox, so stick with Edge. Open Edge, go to Evernote.com and login. Takes a minute to load, so I leave it open and minimize the window when I need to use another program. In fact, the only time I ever use Edge is for Evernote, so I just leave it minimized and open most of the time. This is not a real solution. But Edge works great. It's super fast once it loads. Searching is much better, so I know what the folks at Evernote are going for. I have confidence that Evernote will eventually fix this issue. The Windows version keeps improving but it's not there yet. The Edge workaround is super easy until Evernote gets its act together.
  9. Reinstalled the newest version. It happened again. Then reinstalled it again. It happened again. The newest version works great-- until you click on a tag to view its contents. Then all of the contents within ALL of the notes turn blank. Forever. Even when viewing "All Notes". Closing the program, removing it, and reinstalling it all fail to resolved this. Doesn't happen on computers with the older version. Also, doesn't affect the web version, which works fine. Attaching a screen shot. You can see the second note down is highlighted but its contents are blank. thx
