  1. Hi. Have you checked Note History? It's possible that one person's update was timestamped later than another one, so overwrote that content. If that's not the case I'd suggest that you get a couple of people who lost content to list out exactly what they did when editing the note. I'd imagine there must be a minor procedural thing that one or more individuals do that takes the note out of circulation somehow so its not kept up to date. Everyone using it should (I think) be able to see coloured icons for anyone else in that note. I'm assuming by the way that everyone logged into the account has their own separate user log-in? Another way to confuse Evernote is to have more than one person with the same user details - it can't sort out (or used not to be able to) what's actually a user changing their mind -vs- another user adding more data.
  2. Quit app and uninstall - power the device off and back on. Download latest version and reinstall.
  3. You may be getting your user details wrong. Try the 'forgot password' link on Evernote.com
  4. Hi. Please check these two locations - https://www.evernote.com/Settings.action https://www.evernote.com/PersonalSettings.action ...and in each case choose "new version" That should resolve the problem.
  5. There do seem to be a few tens of millions of people out there who don't have these issues, or at least not so significantly that they affect normal use of the app. It is possible to improve app response times by doing some local housekeeping on internet access, memory and free disk space, but if you don't use the new app, you'll lose access to your notes sometimes fairly soon. Your choice.
  6. Hmmn. Looks like something went wrong. I'd suggect using something like AppCleaner to remove all traces of your prior installations, then download the latest version from https://evernote.com/download and reinstall. Your existing notes will be converted into a new format but the old database will remain as it currently is as backup.
  7. Hi. Nice idea, but doesn't clicking on the task take you directy to its parent note?
  8. "Free" accounts do seem impractical for any business - I can understand people needing time to try the app out, but surely a 30-day trial would do that. After which you can shut down the account and get rid of the overhead of administration and bandwidth. And sometimes it seems half the posts here are about devices and upload limits. Maybe Evernote are having a positive purge to see whether existing users can be prompted to subscribe before announcing a final change...
  9. Hmmn. I use Vivaldi, which is chrome based - don't get any issues with normal sign-ons. (I don't use the Google option). If you're wedded to Chrome, maybe export your bookmarks (just in case) and uninstall / reinstall Chrome?
  10. ? Hi. Don't see the benefit - I archive emails for my active projects, and it takes one doubleclick to open the email (saved as a MSG file) and another to open any attached PDF. If you're looking to have PDFs searchable, detach from the email and save them separately. Given the lack of any action in this thread for a year I don't think your option is missed by many.
  11. Hi. What sort of 'location' are you looking for? Evernote shows notebooks as the location of some notes. If you have geographic co-ordinates see Save note location information
  12. Hi. Try the Settings link in the mobile version - you should be able to contact Support from there.
  13. Hi. Your 'phone has to send the scanned note to Evernote's servers, and then they have to bounce it down to the Mac. If you scanned and shut down the app immediately it may not have had time to even send it yet.
  14. If you're already using it for business meetings, it would seem like a sensible precaution to pay for the service to avoid pop-ups and get access to email support. If you want to continue using free, then hit "skip trial" at top right. If that's what you're already doing, then Evernote appear to be trying to tell you something...
  15. Didn't realise that we have two threads on this - you might like to read my comments - I also added a ticket.
  16. You are not, presumably, a Teams (Business) user, so please share - Device? OS? Evernote version? What prior version did you want to go back to?
  17. No - I removed my previous post here because I wrote it before coffee and got myself confused. The previous latest version was 10.62 - it's now been overtaken by 10.63. My incorrect (and now deleted) references to 10.65 are just a product of my uncaffeinated imagination!
  18. Hi. Device / Windows version / Evernote new version? Have you tried re-downloading the upgrade and installing it manually?
  19. Hi. Backups are a sensible precaution for all computer-related activity. It's possible to export notes and notebooks from Evernote fairly easily, but I'd like to to be easier - please vote here if you agree > https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/147706-please-add-an-export-all-notebooks-option-to-the-desktop-app-notebooks-page/ There are two options: Manual export - From the Notebooks page (in Desktop) look for the three dots to the right of each notebook name. Click there for export options. "Export" will apply to all notes without any limit on numbers. The process exports notebook content from the server, so takes a little while. Options currently available include output to various files types such as - HTML / PDF / ENEX. To simply backup safely, or to export your files to another service which can import that format, ENEX is best. Third party services - external apps that download directly from the server https://github.com/vzhd1701/evernote-backup - free (requires some expertise) https://www.backupery.com/products/backupery-for-evernote/ (subscription required) https://www.cloudhq.net/evernote (subscription required)
  20. Hi. Not possible I'm afraid. You could experiment with exporting to HTML which will give you searchable web pages with linked PDFs.
  21. Hi. Have you tried another browser? It's possible that Safari updated itself and Evernote hasn't caught up yet... If you can get to them, please check these two locations - https://www.evernote.com/Settings.action https://www.evernote.com/PersonalSettings.action ...and check they show "new version / enable v10"
  22. Hi. We're mainly other users around here. If you're venting, you're in the wrong place - try feedback@evernote.com. If you are looking for help, there's a page listing shortcuts here - which throws in a link to a "how to customize" page which may help you. If you need more - maybe mention your device OS and browser next time?
  23. If you have access to the desktop version, try exporting the note to ENEX and re-importing it. That should correct any formatting errors. If that proves impossible, maybe print the content to PDF (or even paper if that's feasible) and re-import by attaching the file / scanning the content?
