  1. if you still have the same email address you started your account with, try the 'forgot password' link at Evernote.com. Your notes should be there.
  2. Hi. There's more information here - https://evernote.com/blog/evernote-pricing-upcoming-features-update/
  3. Hi. What device(s) are you using and what versions of Windows and evernote do you have? Thumbnails work for me, so this would appear to be a local, not a development issue.
  4. Using free services is such a trial isn't it? Bye.
  5. Hi. We're not Evernote here - mainly other users. If you're currently a subscriber, the offer doesn't apply. Sorry.
  6. Hi. Best we can offer is to contact https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?guest=true - use the issue type "Account" We're mainly other users here - and this is a public forum so you might want to remove your email address and the credit card info as soon as possible...
  7. it's a standard "there's going to be a delay" notice which everyone gets. Keep waiting...

  9. Hi - the fact that you're getting 'email already in use' indicates you're trying to sign up for a new account. Try signing in to your (presumably now free) existing basic account in the usual way. Evernote should offer you an option to upgrade from within your own account. There are no telephone options, but you should be able to contact Evernote through https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?guest=true - use the issue type "Account". Because we've just gone through a holiday period, and Support was already busy, it may take a week or more to get a response from a human. You'll get some automated documents meant to help (but probably won't) in the meantime. You can be confident your data is not lost - it's still stored safely in your account(s) and will be there when you regain access. Paying Evernote direct and using a download from their website by the way are two separate issues. You can at any stage download the latest version direct from evernote.com and install it on your system. you should be able to log in appropriately.
  10. You got an ai to write your comment for you...
  11. In theory, a paid user can share a notebook from their account - with it's 'subscriber' limits - to other members of the family. A bit fiddly to set up, but it should work...
  12. Hi - check out the feature request forums here - you can post your suggestion and see how many votes it attracts from other users... or use the feedback option in most apps.
  13. It may be, but there's an easy fix - contact Evernote on their public Support link: https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new and ask for a refund.
  14. On a big notebook like that, move or copy smaller batches of notes into a new notebook and export that. Tag any batch(es) of notes that won't export, and export them in even smaller batches until you find the note(s) that cause the problem. Copy the content of those notes into a new note and you'll usually find the export will now go through.
  15. Sorry for the tag-mageddon sidetrack - that was a joking reference to the large-scale destruction of tag-kind. And no - there's no 'quick' way for any of this. Tag syncing across devices is not great as it is. My own view would be to delete the tags you don't need in one session, then do not do any more work on tags until you can see that the deletions have gone through via the web client - which is the 'parent' version of your notes on all devices. If you get frustrated after a week and start changing thing on another device, you'll just confuse the system and it will need a month to settle down.
  16. I'd recommend a precautionary full system scan for peace of mind. Defender is loyally telling me each time it identifies a threat, and names the software to which it takes exception, but I'm beginning to think this is a tad overzealous - and mainly MS showing me how much they are protecting me from the big, bad world...
  17. Hi. You've done what you can. Did you check to see what your own IP was at the time? The geography of some of these things is pretty terrible. As to access and usage - if there was access it would have seem like you were accessing your own account. You could check to see what you did around the same time, and whether all the actions are familiar, but there's no way to clearly flag bad actions as such. If Evernote themselves detect access attempts you will get an email from them - and I've had the password to my own test account reset by them because it was being accessed after a long break... If you use 2FA and a good password, you're as secure as you can get...
  18. I believe that's for new and upgrading users - although I'm on 'professional' and got offered a downgrade (without the discount).
  19. Your Evernote version is no longer supported; sorry.
  20. Hi. Without subscribing - no.
  21. Worth pointing out that the notebook link is a once-and-done copy from the web. Keep an Evernote lookup note that lists all your notebook links and add a new one if you create a new notebook. Copy and paste from your lookup list when you need the link again.
  22. Neither has anyone else by the looks of it - we're mainly other users here, so the only place to report this properly is Support - though at least one user above has tried that to no effect. Support had a crisis at the end of last year, so you'll get a lot of random standard responses, but stick with it - give them as much information and as many screenshots, Activity Logs and other details as you can, and maybe they can work out why this only seems to affect a few people. As a matter of interest - what's your device / OS and Evernote version? Do reminders work in the browser version for you? Edit: scratch that last question - I see you already said the web doesn't work.
