I -just- survived the Holidays and am having difficulty getting my head around this question - also: I can't access the screencast for some reason... I looked for URLs by filtered list and established that I can jump to a another linked note and use the backlinks to jump back I copied the link I used in (1) and closed the Evernote app Using the copy link in a (Chrome) browser prompts the browser offer to open the Evernote app to use it - (it's an evernote:///view/120918/s2/f810... link) Copying the link to another installed app I get Evernote opening up to display the linked page again. Copying the link to another web app I now get Evernote opening up to display the linked page again. Copying the web link for the same note I now get https://www.evernote.com/shard/s2/nl/120918/f810... opening immediately in the web client. (W11 / EN10.68.3) So I don't seem able to replicate any issues here... whether a note is tagged or filtered and linked from inside or outside Evernote I seem able to get to it directly. ??

How do I export all my notebooks out of Evernote?
gazumped replied to KrisHD's topic in Evernote General Discussions
For the record - exporting is not possible from the web version. -
AFAIK there's no way to choose a default - yet. Your local 'undo' just after a link has been created should remove it, or right-clicking it will offer an 'unlink' option. You could feed your request back to Evernote directly via any device.

I deleted the other thread about being unable to contact support since it's dealt with here. No duplications please...

The trick is to re-activate your account, change the email address there to anything else, and then you can re-use it. The address trick I mentioned above also works for gmail addresses...

Try uninstalling your current version - To fix occasional errors with installs or updates on laptops or desktops - plus issues with speed or lag 1 - Make sure your notes are synced up to date 2 - Exit Evernote (if you can) / delete data from device 3 - Uninstall app with Appcleaner (Mac) or Revo Uninstaller Free (Win) 4 - Power device off / allow 10 seconds / power back on 5 - Download latest Evernote from Evernote.com 6 - Reinstall. It will take a little while for the app to be fully operational Additional Checks: Verify Evernote's Hardware Acceleration is set to ON - go to Tools > Settings > Preferences > Application and scroll to the bottom. The "hardware acceleration disabled" box should be UNticked, but if you're having issues change that setting and restart the device. (Come back and change it again if that doesn't help!) Hi. "Already in use" means there's already an account with that email address. If you need access, and still have access to that address, the 'forgot password' link at Evernote.com may work for you. As you use Gmail, there's a trick you should be able to play to generate a 'new' address (as far as Evernote is concerned) - see https://lifehacker.com/your-gmail-account-has-unlimited-addresses-1849809691 for details. Maybe use a "+Evernote" address (forinstance) as your 'new' login.

Hi. Evernote is mainly wanting to be paid for it's services - which doesn't seem too unreasonable. If you're moving elsewhere, other providers sometimes have their own ways to import data from Evernote; or you can export from any desktop version of the app. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209005557

Hi. We're mostly users here - you need to contact Evernote Support for payment issues. Contact https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?guest=true - use the heading "Account"

Hi. Have you checked the settings for tasks at the top of the panel? If they are correct you may have had an update issue - try a full uninstall (removing the local database) and reinstall from evernote.com.
-
Hi. Have you tried copying a formatted blank line? I don't know of any other way to set a default mixed format like that.

I need to undo an accidental task
gazumped replied to everkat634's topic in Evernote General Discussions
Hi. Whatever your device has as an 'undo' feature is usually your best bet in this situation. if you check in Note History you can step your note back a few days to before the change. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208313858
