  1. Hi. Tried this one? https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017586793-How-to-use-Evernote-for-Gmail
  2. Hi. A complete notebook can be sent to ENEX or HTML from any desktop (not web) app by going to the Notebook tab and right-clicking the 3-dots menu. If that causes an issue a (subscriber) notebook can be split into notebook1/ notebook2/ notebook3 sections by moving notes - 100 at a time - into those notebooks and exporting them individually. Chances are if you have an issue, it will be because of a corrupted note or two. In those cases, create a new note and copy the old content into a new note to fix most issues. If you need more help, some clues as to your device / OS / Evernote version would help us comment more specifically.
  3. Hi. Unless you know of other reports, then yes - you are. I know of no reason why or how Evernote would revert your account to Basic between payments. Using the wrong credentials seems about the only option. You could try a restart or maybe even a reinstall to see whether that helps, but I'm afraid waiting for Support is pretty much the only solution. We just went through the end of year Holiday period and they were already running 10-15 days behind with responses - I see more waiting in your near future...
  4. Hi We haven't exactly established that there is an issue here, or that a fix is required. The forums here are mainly supported by other users, but I have no issue with images or older notes that I'm aware of. You could try exporting that note to HTML to see whether the images are present, but if you are unable to view them you need to contact Support - who were taking 10-12 days to respond before the Holiday period.
  5. We've just gone through a holiday and end-of-year period when Support were already very busy and rather slow. They will respond, but it might take a little longer. Also talking to Google Play is still a good idea. Evernote Support is here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?guest=true - use issue type "Account"
  6. I'm confused. Copy to clipboard is a feature of all browsers and operating systems. Copy to clipboard (Ctrl+C for me..) then new note (I know there's a shortcut for that...) and Paste, and Bob is your elderly male relative... Simples, no?
  7. i have a generic comment on that - To fix occasional errors with installs or updates on laptops or desktops - plus issues with speed or lag 1 - Make sure your notes are synced up to date 2 - Exit Evernote (if you can) / delete data from device 3 - Uninstall app with Appcleaner (Mac) or Revo Uninstaller Free (Win) 4 - Power device off / allow 10 seconds / power back on 5 - Download latest Evernote from Evernote.com 6 - Reinstall. It will take a little while for the app to be fully operational Additional Checks: Verify Evernote's Hardware Acceleration is set to ON - go to Tools > Settings > Preferences > Application and scroll to the bottom. The "hardware acceleration disabled" box should be UNticked, but if you're having issues change that setting and restart the device. (Come back and change it again if that doesn't help!) If you have any issues deleting Evernote data, see: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500004231762-Remove-Evernote-data-from-your-Mac-or-Windows-device
  8. Hi. I'm using Evernote on both a Win 10 laptop and an 11 desktop and don't have any problems Alt+tabbing between windows. There is a new Evernote 10.70.2 version you could download from the website, but I'd suggest you look this up as a Windows glitch.
  9. ? We're talking about a different chat service here... Work Chat retired last year and (presumably) won't be back.
  10. Hi. No clue what you're talking about, but you're right there is no chat - what is your issue?
  11. Funny, that's exactly what I said too... my point being there's no need for drama or 'the sky is falling' predictions. If the price of something goes up past my comfort zone, or the service declines past acceptable, I'd just cancel. If there's an easter egg in the process that says 'please stay' I might take advantage for another year. Or not. (And yes, I'm mildly miffed that I didn't find that offer before re-upping for another year. Such is life...)
  12. The 'guest' link above doesn't need a login. If I click it I get straight through to the support page. Have you tried a different browser? Accessing support via a mobile device?
  13. Hi. Device? OS? Evernote version? Subscriber?
  14. You could try reporting that to Invision, because it's nothing to do with Evernote. other than that they use the service for their users. And you're taking joking remarks that I made to another user out of context. I'm sorry you feel you have been badly treated, but a fair number of users are just getting on with their lives without the drama. Evernote will be fully aware of the effects of these changes on their income, and they may do something about that in the future. But we have to deal with now. Goodbye and good luck with Notion.
  15. I disagree (of course.. ). If you think the price is worth it, and can afford it - you pay without argument. If you don't think it's reasonable to get pricing back to a reasonable level, or you simply can't afford it, you quietly and regretfully start to cancel your payment methods and revert to Basic. But Evernote, since it really does hate to lose the income, will offer you an incentive to stay - for one more year, before the new prices at that time come into play. No tiresome meltdowns, no complaints, just do what you have to do. Preferably quietly...
  16. The irony of all these complaints is that if you actually go through the process of trying to downgrade your account to avoid paying the increase, you will (AFAIK) get offered a substantial discount in the next year to soften the blow.
  17. @PinkElephant is not an employee. Mainly just us users here, unless they have a green flash that actually says "Employee". Sorry you were badly affected by the price rise, sorry that some of us still think differently to you - that even at its new price, and with upgrades and additions that we think do add value, Evernote is worth supporting - and sorry that you haven't seen your refund yet. But the situation and the subscriptions are what they are. Accept them or move on. And if Evernote promised you something but haven't delivered yet, feel free to remind them via whatever email address you received confirmation from.
  18. If you don't like the features and don't think the price is worth it, I'd say it's long past time. Bye...
  19. Hi. Chat support does not exist at present - it was suspended weeks ago when Support started to get overwhelmed. If you are a subscriber and need help, you can get it via the email support link, and/ or you can raise a query here in the forums. Support just went through and end-of-year holiday period when they were already busy to start, so any new queries will likely take several days to get to the front of the queue. I'd expect chat to be back later this year...
  20. It may not... they suggest exporting all notes in one go - not a god idea unless you want to lose your notebook structure also downloading an older version of Evernote from the Internet Archive - that may no longer work with some newer operating systems... Exporting is simple and easy from the v10 Desktop and is freely available to any current user. The Verge has just rehashed a 2019 story into new clickbait.
  21. Curioser & Curioser.... In my example I quit out of Evernote before trying the link, and either the browser offered to reopen it... and then did; or from another app Evernote was relaunched to show the note. I checked my tray icons, and there's no Evernote icon after I quit out, neither is Task Manager showing any process. OK - I got it! I Filtered by one notebook and copied several note links from that notebook into a new ToC note. Using that note via the filter, if I click on a link I wind up at the home page, not the page I was looking for. ...and now those links are working to go to the individual pages again...because I'm looking at the notebook listing. ...and if I go back to the Filter I get home pages again. I think I need to go lie down now...
  22. The user ID that you used may be the wrong one for your subscription, or if the document you have is only an invoice, maybe the payment method failed? Did you pay Evernote direct or go via iTunes? They're separate companies, and may not have caught up with each other yet... Don't panic - just talk to Support when you can!
  23. Hi. I assume you're not a Teams (Business) user. If you'd like some suggestions for a work-around please tell us your device / OS and Evernote version. Many mobile devices use battery-saver apps to minimise usage and this is what you may be experiencing. You may be able to disable this, or use a dedicated recording app which will probably have ways around the issue. Attach the third-party recorded audio file to your note when it is completed.
