  1. Hi. Maybe search the forums before you post? And with an odd 100 million to spend I'd think they plan on moving the operations to Italy and recruiting even more people to help run it. They already employ more folks than Evernote ever did - the current issues are training related, not the headcount.
  2. That email address tracks back to a 7 year-old post - I'd suggest you start again with https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new and expect a delayed response..
  3. Hi. Have you reported this to Evernote Support, with example notes? I can usually copy and paste note content from a note to a Word document without any difficulty, unless the original source was (forinstance) a web page with unusual protections or coding. Worst case I can use the URL information in Evernote to visit the original source of a note and (usually) copy directly from there. Evernote has been 'hinting' for some time (with the big bold red flash across window titles) that Legacy Evernote was replaced 3 years ago and is no longer supported. Your original note content is still available in your account if you upgrade to the current version. Exporting, Copying and pasting into other software should not be an issue, but if it is, we may be able to help you work around any problems in the forums. You can also report them to Support, who may - in the longer term - be able to fix them in future updates.
  4. In one of the groups I frequent, a formal announcement of disapproval and departure is known as a 'flounce'.
  5. Darn it! I drop out for a few hours, and suddenly it gets interesting... 😉
  6. A couple of recent refund requests seemed to be handled quite quickly, so I thought that non-technical stuff might have been given a new treatment - so "several days" to help set expectations, but not be too optimistic...
  7. Hmmn. Maybe create a new folder on your desktop, assign imports to it, and delete the original?
  8. Hi. We're mostly other users in the forums. Support may take a little while, but they'll be able to help you. Meantime - are you logging with the correct user ID, or did you accidentally create a new blank account when subscribing? A mistype could do that...
  9. Average response times were several days before the holidays. Have a little patience and you should hear more...
  10. Hi. The forum is mostly other users. You need to contact Support for a refund. https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new
  11. If you have more than 50 notes and 1 notebook you still have access to your notes on two devices. One of them needs to be a desktop so that you can export your notebooks to ENEX, HTML or PDF. No hostages here... Export notes and notebooks
  12. If you feel that you need their services, the subscriptions are available online. If you don't believe that the service is worth the cost...
  13. Mostly other users here, so we don't know. Try creating a new folder on your system and make that your import folder?
  14. Exporting a notebook to ENEX (or any other format) has several options...
  15. ...And did you try any of the solutions here? EDIT: plus please do not double post. I deleted your other comment.
  16. Given the close links between Google and Evernote - and the fact I pay Google for extended storage - I found this recent article from CloudHQ a little concerning. Backups and syncs between Evernote and cloud storage (and between clouds) are a subscription item, but heavy data users may consider it a viable option... https://blog.cloudhq.net/google-drive-files-disappeared/
  17. ? The "go to" area in a blank Search lists note titles. Clicking on a title opens the note. Adding a search term changes the content of the area, but again; clicking on a title opens the note. What's not working? Win 11 EN 10.70.2 (and I know there's a later version)
  18. I'm using the installed app with a note in its own window while yours seems to be the browser version. Maybe try a different browser, or drag the tab into its own window?
  19. Bending Spoons do seem to be on a roll, and they're buying into services that seem related to their own (and Evernote's) expertise. They do seem to be in process of taking over the note-taking world. They're a big company - selected by their own country to run the national Covid scheme - recruiting new staff to fulfil their (apparently) big ambitions. I'll be interested to see how this all plays out...
  20. Hi. Please edit your post to remove the email address. This is a public forum and we're mainly other users - no-one friendly is going to use the address. If you are locked out because of too many connected devices you can only subscribe (even if only for one month) to remove the block, or wait out the ban for a month. Make sure Evernote is not running on any other device and log in to the web version via your browser. Check your connections here https://www.evernote.com/Devices.action and disconnect very device except your browser.
