  1. To add to the confusion I am still using Scansnap manager with an ix500 and it does scan directly into Evernote v10. After scanning it pauses, allowing me to rename the file, and then imports directly into Evernote with the note name the same as the file name. It does this without using an import folder. I had problems with import folders in the past, so even though Scansnap manager is no longer supported, I’ll keep using this for now.

  4. If this is the first time you opened files, you may need to logout of your account and back in. I wasn’t able to get it to load either until I did that.
  5. Numerous issues with this new feature. Some obvious ones, I don't know why they pushed it out so soon. Here are a few that I've noticed. Multiple copies There are actually many more copies of those, I just clipped a few ... I only have one file. This is happening with several files and not just this one. It says I can't preview it, ok, but then it wants me to download it. It is already downloaded, why can't I just open it like I can from the note? I've also seen the problem with password protected PDFs. Media is picking up all of the flotsam images from web clipping. It would be nice if they could filter those out somehow. This is interesting but I'm struggling to see how I would actually use it.
  6. Maybe for you, but not for most of us. The advice given by @PinkElephant is accurate and you are using a new app. V10 works differently from Legacy in many ways and you will need to either adapt or find an app that works better for you. None of us are employees or paid to be here. We are here to try and help fellow users. Drop the attitude and provide specific details and we may try to help out.
  7. I hate this as well and it has been like this for as long as I can remember. Open a support ticket or send feedback to feedback@evernote.com. If enough of us complain maybe it will get changed.
  8. No shouting needed and we are mainly only other users here. You can open a support ticket or email to feedback@evernote.com I’ve also experienced the problem, but it was only temporary. Later when I came back to check, the files were there.

  10. Yes, as also mentioned above. Please note that it may take a while to completely download your database. It should be useable right away but it will run slowly until everything is downloaded and stabilized.
  11. Have you tried using a VPN to rule out local network issues? Are you using a supported browser version? Maybe something did change recently that caused an older version to stop working.
  12. Uninstall again but this time use Appcleaner, it does a better job removing everything, and then download directly from the Evernote website and reinstall.

  15. Maybe you aren't aware of the history, but Bending Spoons bought Evernote a little over a year ago, so yes, this is new to them. Your choices are pretty straightforward, either use V10 and work to improve it with bug reports and feedback, or move to another app that works better for you.
  16. Ok, you need to come to terms that V10 is a different app and Legacy is no longer. Evernote is V10. If V10 doesn't do something you want, fine, request it at feedback@evernote.com. Comparisons back to a version that the new team at Bending Spoons likely never used will get no traction. If you provide a good use case and how this may benefit others, in addition to you, then the new Evernote team may take your suggestion under advisement.
  17. The fact this doesn’t work in the web is puzzling, but I would still follow the advice above and reinstall. Please use Revo uninstaller to remove the old version. This one tends to work better than the standard uninstaller.
  18. Technically they are not fixing anything. The inability to select the thumbnail has been, frustratingly, there from day one. This has been one of the most long requested features on the forum. Good news indeed!!
  19. We are hoping this is a bug, but please share your comments to feedback@evernote.com. If not a bug, maybe with enough feedback, they will change their mind.

  21. I’m feeling old. It is an old typewriter term. On computers it is the return key. Brings the cursor to the start of a new line.
