  1. You say you scan to the import folder. Please explain what you do - I think the problem may be rooted there.
  2. Are you sure when logging back in on the iPhone, you typed (?) your user name ? Because if you have one typo in it, instead of going to your account, you may have created a new one.
  3. Don’t know whether they still have the „continue where you left the last time“ priority. Maybe the new layout only shows for the „selected few“ who are testing right now, to generate rapid feedback ?
  4. Well, you just have 60MB per 30 days. That’s syncing the equivalent of 15 fotos from a regular mobile phone camera. Without knowing what you were doing we can‘t tell.
  5. I couldn’t care less personally - I am running Apple only, best decision to skip Windows (oh, I stand corrected, I actually have Windows, in a VM on my older Mac. I always notice I am using it when the fans start blowing.). Maybe one of the fellow users who are on Windows and use EN v10 every day can help you to gain some insight.
  6. It seems that backslashes will become rapidly popular among EN users 🤣
  7. You can’t have „exactly the same issue“, because this one was on Windows, and you claim it for iOS. Since we are in the Windows subforum, and you have a different issue (even if it looks alike on the surface), you better open a new thread in the iOS subforum. Start with describing the problem, and give information about your iOS and EN app versions. We can then proceed from there.
  8. Actually the change with the failed screen clips came when users updated to Windows 11, independent from the version they were running. On the Mac it is working independently from the MacOS version - you just need to be sure the app is authorized for screen recordings in the security settings. My conclusion is that in fact Microsoft did something in Windows 11 that does not allow the screen to be grabbed as before. If it was intentional or a collateral impact is up to everyone’s guessing.
  9. Why worry ? They seem to have ideas to invest their money, better than putting it to the bank account. Since they already own video editing apps, a video storing and sharing platform may be a logical step. It would as well provide them with training material for their AI development. Just my 5ct …
  10. When you uninstalled, did you use the regular MacOS uninstall process ? Because this will often not do the job. Get the app AppCleaner and run it to remove all traces of the prior EN install. After removing all, restart the Mac, and install again.
  11. If you were like me using v10 since more than 3 years, you would be in the here and now. Maybe this would be a better platform to look ahead. Your „serious issues“ are likely just things the new app does differently, or doesn’t do at all. Calling them „serious“ is just another word for „how dare they do things different to what I am used to“. Like all old people of any age do, when the world changes. Well, EN changed things (BS only came into the picture lately), and as always some decisions do not suit me, most are OK, and some are brilliant. But you only seem obsessed with what you dislike. Just go ahead, 15 days and counting.
  12. Yes, I know. The build in scanner did not. Actually I use since long the app ScannerPro by readdle. They allow to setup workflows that import a scan into a specific notebook, and with predefined tags. I have roughly 10 workflows, and it covers 90% of my scan&file needs. The PDFs are already OCRed by the scanner app, which I prefer over the EN OCR. I use the scanner build into EN mainly for 1 page scans, just to grab an information quickly.
  13. No, the previous scanner created PNG only. To get a pdf it was only possible to "print" the note with the embedded pictures to pdf (or export it) which, given the rudimentary printing features was not really useful.
  14. Is this on the laptop only ? Did you already try to log out, quit the app, restart the PC, then open EN again and log in ?
  15. Sharing a full notebook publicly through a link was discontinued. You can only share a notebook to defined recipients - inviting by email. Single notes can still be shared by link.
  16. Well done with forum search (not many do). But maybe you need to remove it all. To fix a Mac install, this is the way that works for me: Log out, quit the app. Now use the app AppCleaner to remove all parts from the Mac. Restart the Mac. Download the installer from the EN website. Install it, open, log in. Let it run for a little, it makes an initial download of notes and metadata. You can try if Tasks are working now. To get the whole local database rebuild, you need to keep EN open for quite a while. It can be running in the background. It depends on your Internet connection and your Mac's speed, but it can take some days. Until everything is available locally, the client will run slower than usual.
  17. Actually Plus may have been regarded as a premium plan at the time when it was introduced. But the plan called "Premium" was introduced later than Plus. Plus was grandfathered after the launch of Premium. Premium was later grandfathered itself, when Personal was launched. Both plans could be rolled over by those already subscribed. Currently all plans before "Personal" are removed, the subscribers asked to move to Personal, or drop to Free. This shows for me that there is no interest in marketing any "light" subscriptions that would cover note taking, without the bells & whistles.
  18. I think when all the users that first were dragging their feet and are now hedging their bets have left, the impact will be negligible. There is a small group who will not be convinced, no matter what is done. This is quite normal, so please move on, nothing to be seen here. Personally I feel honored by the insight that I don't post anything useful to them (and if I do, be assured it is not intentional). My interest is the future, not a group of grumpy left behinds. For those who want to contribute there is an interesting initiative by @ferol to collect and evaluate issues and features, and make them available to EN management. This makes sense and is worth investing some time and ideas.
  19. This is a MacOS function, has nothing to do with EN: Open MacOS settings (pictures taken with Sonoma), choose keyboard (1), then Text Input, Sources, Edit (2): This toggle (3) turn the conversion on and off:
  20. Did you switch the browser to desktop mode ? The web client is not supported on mobile browsers.
  21. It is obvious you just switched from legacy. The view of the notes in the middle column is as it is since v10 launched in 2020. Currently take it as it is, or leave, Feedback can be send here feedback@evernote.com Explain why you want a change (and don’t forget that millions of users use it as it is). If you just switched from legacy, you will find a lot more differences …
  22. Actually there was a similar plan called Plus. Sales were stopped in 2018, which tells a lot about the earnings situation even 5 years ago. Since last year EN is not renewing these subscriptions any more. When I read the signs, there is no chance we will see a cheap entry level subscription.
  23. Actually seeing the full title can be useful. Narrow title column, many notes starting with the same title, and the difference is hidden at the end. In my case many invoices and bank account reports are like it. The full title popup makes it easy to find the right monthly receipt, for example.
