  1. This seems to be solved - at least on my Mac client 10.42.7 it now correctly opens websites containing the text HOME. It does not open the EN Home Screen any more.
  2. Just to mention: The EN helper (task bar / menu bar) is only active when the v10 app is running, at least in the background. Content is created in the local client, and then synced to the server. The legacy helper could collect stuff, and could be launched without the client open. The WebClipper is a browser extension, working through the API. It can be used even when the client is closed. It is independent from the use of legacy or v10, having its own release stream for each browser.
  3. The main issue on the iPad is that you can't zoom in annotation mode. This has been addressed several times in support tickets, but not yet resolved. Interestingly it works on the iPhone - the mobile client seems to recognize a narrowish screen as zoomable, but not a tablet. Which apps are called when using the sharing option is determined by the OS settings, not within of an app. To see if anything can be done about it, you should better define "limited options". The logical workaround would be to ave the pdf to the Files app, and then share it from there. Are the options limited as well when used on a stored pdf ?
  4. Probably they just use different gateways to the phone network. +33 is from a server in France, +44 from UK. If it does not work, contact support. The ticket type "Account" can be contacted by all users. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
  5. Shane is no longer with EN. To reach EN staff, issue a support ticket, or post a feedback.
  6. About width: Modern UIs choose the width depending on the devices screen. It will adapt, showing other width on for example a phone than on a tablet, and different again on a desktop. By editor I mean what is really needed to edit a note. Type the text, make it look ok, add lists, bullets, numbers, headers, the like. It is what you call when you start editing a note. It is assisted by everything behind the blue + - this is beyond the editor and has its own properties. The rest is metadata, organizing the content into manageable dimensions. You can post in feature request, no problem. It is just that we other users discuss (openly) about what is posted. Contrarian positions are not intended to take value away - not from the idea, and for sure not from the fellow user who posted it.
  7. There is no „page“ equivalent in EN, and EN is no layouting tool. I don’t think we need to discuss technical details here - I don’t think there will be a general column feature added. It doesn’t not fit into the concept of a lean note taking editor. Using a table as already proposed is as close as we will get, ever. Just my interpretation of what I see … Anybody can ask for anything - by the feedback function or through a support ticket.
  8. There is no Apple Watch app, unfortunately. And I am pretty sure that as long as this does not return, there will be no app for other wearables either.
  9. Just matter of factly: My iOS clients scroll as they ever did. The forum is user2user. It may be somebody posts something, but the sure way is through a support ticket.
  10. There is always a separate password, linked to the email user connected to the account. You may have forgotten it, but it is there. And it likely was used to enter your account. No idea how the entry in your log was created, if you don't use an iPhone or Scannable. Scannable does need the user & PW, but as an app it only has access to its own data - notes created by scannable and holding scannable-made scans. Maybe it can be faked - so to be safe, I would assume that a full access was used, and that the Scannable entry was faked.
  11. The email holds all attached files. If they do not com through, check if the email client you use is forwarding them at all, or just the mail body. If everything works on this end, contact support.
  12. Did you try to log out of your account, restart the device and back in yet - on the device giving you trouble ?
  13. It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the EN help documentation. A few key words are sufficient, and you get help files on nearly every aspect. They often contain short video clips that show the handling in the app. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us
  14. When I tried on my Mac before posting my answer, each of the 3 screen clipping options took the designated clip, and created a new note right away. No chance to type anything, no chance to collect several snippets in the Helper to create a larger note that already tells a story.
  15. From my point of view a 2010 style sync would be something, but not cool. Most cloud services have switched to a „granular“ syncing approach in the meantime. This means every element (like a file or a note) is broken down into tiny pieces. Changes will often be relevant for one piece only, or for a group of pieces. Sync will only work for elements that were actually changed. This approach reduces the risk that a single element will be changed by 2 users at the same time. Furthermore it allows for a massive reduction in data traffic, because most of the time only small snippets have to be transported. Hope we get something like this, which would be state of the art syncing technology.
  16. Insert a table, you can even add or delete columns and rows in the v10 solution. What only works on desktop or web is to set different column width. On the iPad you can only set all columns to the same width.
  17. Nobody can „hack“ an EN account through the Scannable app. The account login must be provided for Scannable to work. However the app only has a limited access, sufficient for what it does, but far from being a full account access. I doubt that an access through Scannable would allow a hacking attack on an account. The hack most likely happened how these hacks always happen: Because a user name was found in one of the many breaches circulating in the dark net, because users reuse passwords they like for other applications, because devices (make this Windows PCs) get compromised and login data extracted. Anybody with a little bit of knowledge knows how to cloak his access, and using the name „Scannable“ makes the access looking more innocent on the log than using „Bad Hackers own device“ as device name. It is just a deception, don’t care about it. Get your account sealed and locked up, and then (because bad habits with passwords and user names usually will occur on many accounts) work yourself down a list of all accounts you have. Get a password manager and use it, not to repeat the same mistake. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004395487
  18. Waiting for an in-app language option is simply nonsense. To go from borrowing it from the OS to implementing it yourself means getting an compatible solution integrated into the own code base, licensing it, adding the dictionaries into the app (again with a need to get a license) and duplicate a lot of functionality that already exists in the OS. This means money spend on implementing it, maintaining it and keeping the licenses alive. What for ? 8 votes on this thread since 2020, and the last post before yours is more than 3 months old. This is nothing into which anybody taking informed decisions would invest a single nickel. My conclusion: Waiting is nonsense (and it is neither „basic“ nor „simple“, and for sure it would not come cheap). However, anybody can ask for anything, so if you want to reach EN, use the feedback function or issue a support ticket.
  19. Anything else on your network that may interfere ? I use web clipper in Firefox on my Mac, and last time I used it, it worked. This was maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago, since FF is my „secondary“ browser I don’t use it daily. I run a Pi-Hole on my network, and I must remember to deactivate it before installing some extensions or apps. Works for most, but not for anyone.
  20. Scannable is an independent app, and it runs on resources provided by the smartphone or tablet. There will be limits, mainly from how much memory and computing power the device can share. I doubt it is a limit set by the app, it will likely be a limit resulting from the device running out of resources. Beside this, a 200 pager is a lot for most scanning solutions - my ix500 (a business grade scanner) holds a maximum of 50 sheets (which translates into 100 pages in duplex mode) in the sheet feeder. A smartphone scanner is designed to scan a few pages at a time, I think. If you want larger files, you can use independent apps (both paid and Free) to merge any number of pdf files into a new, combined file. Before reaching page „200 - 1“ and then see everything go down the drain, I would rather build files on the safe side, and then merge them later.
  21. Personally I am not aware such a solution existed. Was it anything official by EN, or was it a 3rd party extension provided by an indie developer ? You can switch the web client to „classic view“ which restores more or less the old client. However, since the old client is not maintained any more, you do so at your own peril of errors and data los.
  22. For me it works in Monterey, no problem. Uninstall, restart the Mac, reinstall. If this does not work, contact support.
  23. You are mixing the words „snipping tool“ and „web clipper“ here. The Windows snipping tool is an OS function, and the web clipper is a browser extension that works independently from the clients. I assume you mean with both descriptions the EN helper tool, that installs in the task bar and works together with the installed client. In the new clients it creates a clip in a new note right away, whereas in legacy you could collect clips and typed information in the „clipboard“ of the helper, and decide when to save. I used it a lot, and agree it allowed for more flexibility in the workflow.
  24. Usually what was clipped shows up in a new note in your EN account right away. From there it syncs to the server. If it does not show up, the next clip will likely take up the buffer storage still used by the earlier one. This will overwrite the buffers content with new information. If it happens in a sequence, everything will be erased by clipping on, only keeping the latest clip. This is based on the EN helper in one of the 2 desktop versions v10 for Windows and Mac. The web client (you posted in this subforum) has no helper, and the legacy helper worked somewhat different.
  25. Some options: Free user - no own templates Already saved 20 own templates - limit reached, make room to save more Header trick - not working, as you said Last option: Contact support
