There's already a long-running request for this and other sort preferences. It would likely be more helpful to add your support there (click the up arrow at top to vote for it):

  2. Dave-in-Decatur's post in Notes from widget not saved was marked as the answer
Hi, and welcome to the forums. I don't think it's likely they're in a local storage. Are you able to check Evernote on any other device, e.g. using the Web client? If they're not anywhere, they may just be gone, unfortunately. These forums are user to user; Evernote's tech support is at https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
  3. Dave-in-Decatur's post in Add Note function not creating a fully functional note was marked as the answer
Hi, and welcome to the forums. There have been a number of reports of content missing lately. If you can access the note on a different Evernote client (the Web client for instance), is the content there? Has it showed up now that some time has passed?

  5. Dave-in-Decatur's post in Task syncing on Win11 desktop not happening? was marked as the answer
I haven't seen this specifically, but I did have a note that I edited in the Windows desktop program, and the edit wouldn't sync elsewhere. I force-quit the program (File > Quit) with no success, and finally I had to locate a "stuck" EN process in Task Manager and stop it. So, bottom line, restart the program, then the machine till something works. I know it's unlikely, but I've been suspicious that the rollout of the new sync system is somehow straining resources at HQ for those of us who don't yet have it. But of course mine was a local issue, so not that.
Edit: @s2sailor's suggestion below may be best, but you could try a simple logout/login, quit/restart of Evernote, and computer reboot first, as being quicker.
  6. Dave-in-Decatur's post in Unexpected text change into gibberish in the notes was marked as the answer
@photokitteh, this problem has been reported by quite a number of forum users, always regarding notes using non-Roman scripts (Arabic, Russian, Chinese). See for example https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/145635-new-notes-appear-as-numbers-symbols/. In what language were these Twitter posts written? In many if not all of those cases, the notes had been created using a widget or quick note; I wonder if the process of Twitter > IFTTT > Evernote caused a similar effect. In any case, please do report this to Evernote tech support: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new--they need to know how many people are affected and what the details are.

  7. Dave-in-Decatur's post in How do I stop the message "Let's update your app. A new version of Evernote is available. Update to New Windows Client (398256)" was marked as the answer
Take a look at this post from Evernote's product head, and at other posts in this thread, to get a sense of why they're doing that (and why they're not stopping):

  8. Dave-in-Decatur's post in Tried going to v10.55 from Legacy 6.25.2. Lots of issues! was marked as the answer
Given the rest of this discussion, I have to wonder whether the slowness has to do with the constant sync. Maybe there is some hope that the new sync structure being rolled out will help.
  9. Dave-in-Decatur's post in Unable to display the folder location of each note when searching notes by tags like you can in the Windows app was marked as the answer
Hi, and welcome to the forums. Unfortunately, you seem to be correct, in the Android app it isn't possible to display notebook locations (the usual Evernote terminology, rather than folder) with a list of notes by tag. It is possible to filter a list by notebook, which might be helpful in some circumstances. Tap the 3 dots at top right of the list of notes to get to the filters.
  10. Dave-in-Decatur's post in Windows 10 app: Tasks are not working was marked as the answer
Back to this: since you do have a paid subscription, https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new should work.
  11. Dave-in-Decatur's post in constant state of syncing and can not create a trouble ticket was marked as the answer
Regarding the problem of being logged out when trying to log in to support, this is an old, ongoing, and fairly random issue. This post from Evernote staff may still help: https://discussion.evernote.com/announcement/72-issues-accessing-evernote-support-channels/.
  12. Dave-in-Decatur's post in Tags not working in Desktop app on Windows 11, after latest version (10.54.54) installed. was marked as the answer
I think the usual advice in a situation like this is to uninstall Evernote (maybe using Revo Uninstaller to make sure everything is removed) and then reinstall the update, in order to clear out whatever must have gone wrong in the installation.
  13. Dave-in-Decatur's post in How to combine or delete multiple user accounts was marked as the answer
Logging in here is just logging in on Evernote: when you're logged in on one, you're logged in on the other.
  14. Dave-in-Decatur's post in Shareable links not working was marked as the answer
There is at least one other thread on this going on. I note that your link is of the form https://www.evernote.com/l/.... The "l" suggests that it was created in the legacy (v. 6.25) program, which seems to be where the problem is. Take a look at this thread:
See especially this comment in the thread:

  15. Dave-in-Decatur's post in Tags search does not work on web client was marked as the answer
Yes, it does seem to be highly intermittent. I just tried it again, and it works fine (including relatively speedy searchability) in the Web client, in two different browsers on two different computers. All which is to suggest that I hope @randomkoala180's experience will improve as well.
  16. Dave-in-Decatur's post in Add tooltip with Shortcut info to Format Bar buttons was marked as the answer
My apologies--I didn't read carefully enough. Yes, I agree, having those reminders is helpful. Strikethrough is one that always gets me -- Ctrl+T? Ctrl+\? I actually made a note with all the shortcuts, but that was for v. 6 and needs updating. Updated, I could keep the relevant bit of it open in a separate window during some intense editing. Not as good has having it in the tooltips though. I've voted the suggestion up.
  17. Dave-in-Decatur's post in Using Evernote on a portrait oriented screen. was marked as the answer
Interesting. I've got a fair-sized Dell 2-in-1 laptop, and I haven't thought of using Evernote in tablet mode. Tried it, and I do get a lot more reading room with longer notes, though the display is nothing like your gigantor HP monitors. Something to keep in mind!
  18. Dave-in-Decatur's post in Where is the "note" preferences tab? was marked as the answer
Ah. You need to do an update then.  I believe the Notes section of Preferences first appeared with v. 10.48 in early November--see

  19. Dave-in-Decatur's post in Not loading + rude message was marked as the answer
Regarding the failure of Evernote for Windows to load, did this happen after an update? There have been reports of an update (I think v. 10.48.4) failing to load. The most recent version, 10.48.5, should be available for download from the Evernote Website. At any rate, installing it couldn't do any harm, and might fix the issue. But you will still have to revoke access to one of the 3 "devices" (Windows, Android, Web). The simplest thing might be to log out of the Android app temporarily. If you can get the Windows app working, you can then go to your account page and revoke access to the Web client.
  20. Dave-in-Decatur's post in How to reach to evernote customer support? was marked as the answer
The support page is: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. I'm not sure if that covers this specific type of issue though.
  21. Dave-in-Decatur's post in I use two EN devices, but still being forced to upgrade was marked as the answer
Hi, and welcome to the forums. This can occur if you happen to use both the Evernote desktop app on your laptop and the Evernote Web client. Each of them counts as a "device," and when you add the mobile app that makes 3. The place to check is on the Devices page in your account settings: https://www.evernote.com/Devices.action. That will show you what devices you have used that Evernote is aware of, and if there are more than 2, you can revoke access to one or more.
Another, more remote possibility is that your account password was stolen and someone else has logged into your account on a different device. This has happened when people use an easy password on multiple services. If it gets stolen on one service, it can be used on the others. If you see an unrecognized device on the Devices page, that could be the case. In that case, change your password immediately to something unique to your Evernote account.
  22. Dave-in-Decatur's post in Feedback on the information displayed in the "Evernote App Center" was marked as the answer
It was certainly behind my horizon. @Charles CH., these forums are primarily user-to-user, and not a very good way of giving Evernote direct feedback. Wandering around looking for the app center, I came across this page: https://appcenter.evernote.com/about, which has a link to "drop us a line." That would be the most useful way to report the issue.
  23. Dave-in-Decatur's post in Basic Boolean Search Failed was marked as the answer
It seems a little fussy, but per the Help & Learning article, the search operators are case-sensitive and must be in all caps. Does
    todo:false OR contains:taskNotCompleted
    work?
  24. Dave-in-Decatur's post in How to edit note remarks? was marked as the answer
I just tested, and found that when I used Web Clipper to clip this page, and added some comments, all of it went into an "HTML box." To make this editable, click on the gray bar at the top, then on the "magic wand" icon that pops up (also accessible from the 3-dots menu). That will convert everything in the clip into regular text, along with your comments.
I agree, this seems different from previous Web Clipper experience.
Edit: I notice that this does not happen when clipping a simplified article: being already simplified, it doesn't go in a box.
  25. Dave-in-Decatur's post in I wanna copy and paste long text was marked as the answer
A mobile device may not be ideal for transferring that much information, at least not by copy and paste. Does Samsung Note have an export option, such as export to plain text? It might be easier to get that into Evernote. For something that long, a computer may be more suited to the task.
