How to edit note remarks?

Hello - what do you have to do now to edit remarks you made when you clipped a note? (v 10.46.7, windows)

Hi.  Your remarks should be part of the clipped note and available to be edited, added to or removed as necessary

Right. It used to be. But now I can't click into that text box. The entire note is locked.

I just tested, and found that when I used Web Clipper to clip this page, and added some comments, all of it went into an "HTML box." To make this editable, click on the gray bar at the top, then on the "magic wand" icon that pops up (also accessible from the 3-dots menu). That will convert everything in the clip into regular text, along with your comments.

I agree, this seems different from previous Web Clipper experience.

Edit: I notice that this does not happen when clipping a simplified article: being already simplified, it doesn't go in a box.

Good. This technique can also be helpful in other ways for Web-derived content in Evernote, as you can see, and also for some forwarded emails.
