MHef 2 Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 After allowing the latest version to be applied... and Evernote relaunched, Tags are no longer functioning (unable to filter by, etc) Rebooted...with no improvement. Web App works fine... this is just affecting the Desktop App.... Windows 11. Ticket submitted....
Level 5 Solution Dave-in-Decatur 4,256 Posted March 10, 2023 Level 5 Solution Posted March 10, 2023 I think the usual advice in a situation like this is to uninstall Evernote (maybe using Revo Uninstaller to make sure everything is removed) and then reinstall the update, in order to clear out whatever must have gone wrong in the installation.
MHef 2 Posted March 11, 2023 Author Posted March 11, 2023 Thank you Dave! I tried uninstalling ... then reinstalling, but that didn't work. So I found the Revo Uninstaller as you suggested... and was surprised that Evernote's uninstaller left such a tremendous amount of stuff in the Registry and a Gig and a half of leftover files and folders. After clearing all that out... and re-installing... all is working normally. Thanks! 1
