It's already implemented on the Mac platform. We have the option of viewing pdfs inline or as attachments. I upvoted to have this feature added to the other platforms

I edited my note and added the Trigger/Action details With a few more steps, I can use the Notification Center EN widget to create a note, and use dictation.

fwiw There is an IFTTT integration between IOS Reminder Lists and Evernote I can say Siri, add "this" to my Evernote List and it appears in Evernote Trigger New reminder added to list List name This Trigger fires every time a new reminder is added to the list you specify. Action Create/Append to note Note Name This Action will append to a note as determined by its title and notebook. Once a note’s size reaches 2MB a new note will be created.

That would be my preference as to how EN implement headings; it would conform with the underlying html format, and would preserve formatting on imports and exports

For sure; a core basic idea for a Word Processing application. As you found out, the Evernote editor is more suited to creating ..... notes EN has added WP features, and might consider your request if it gets enough votes. If you wish, I can move your request from the Mac forum to the all platform request forum.

Requesting the option to flag notes as read only My workaround is to convert the note to pdf edited; There’s also a contentClass field that I can update using a script on my Mac

I got the software for free I get the software upgrades at no charge

I actually keep an export of my notes in html format, so I have complete access "outside of evernote" I'm using Applescript on a Mac to schedule this daily (incremental - only changed notes), documented here - No dialog - it just runs automatically. - I prefer the html format, not sure the benefits from a MarkDown conversion - outputs to a cloud drive, so its available from all my devices - as you noted; single file for a note, and folder for attachments

Personally, I don't have an issue with tagname synonyms. I rarely type a full tagname; I start typing and a dropdown list appears and I select the right tag

As per @jefito, this is an issue you have to address with Apple - the import tool is not supported by Evernote

You could put those project notebooks into a stack. The stack could be added to your shortcuts I use a tag solution Each project has a master project note, tagged with !Project and I use a project tag to link project notes, for example !Project: Genealogy A shortcut search lists all these master notes (tag:"!Project" -Tag:!Archive) Click on the master project note, and you have a link to all the notes of the project

You have the option to sign in/out of Evernote on the Mac, instead of just closing the app. Signing in requires entry of a password Warning - to sign in, requires an internet connection
