  1. I'm not an Android user but I thought Search was common to all platforms The search feature is documented at https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208313828
  2. I don't see the advantage to "loose" files Notes are Evernote's container element; they can be used for holding single or multiple files
  3. No, not in Evernote/IOS; as you mentioned, we have to use the "fake note". On a Mac, we're able to add tags and hierarchy using a separate Tag page Also, tag hierarchy is not accessible in Evernote/IOS I reflect hierarchy in the tag name; for example Colour-Red, Taxes-2019, Taxes-2020, Taxes-2021
  4. Not sure the flow of the newly registered, but the web page at www.evernote.com clearly indicates free and the Sign Up page indicates the plan options
  5. Evernote's email facility used to be accessed via the File menu It was a design decision to consolidate these functions under the Share menu >>Would be much more effective in staying organized without having to search for fragmented notes/emails. Notes can be tied using a variety of features - note links and table-of-contents - tags - text search Can you add details to the "tie" feature used by Hey.com
  6. I merged your post with an existing request for this feature To indicate support, use the vote button at the top left corner of the discussion
  7. The "new" Evernote Web is an incomplete product, a work-in-progress Evernote advises WHAT FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS ARE NOT AVAILABLE COMPARED TO THE OLDER VERSION OF EVERNOTE WEB? There are a number of features and functions that will currently require you to switch back to the older version of Evernote Web. These include: Create and execute saved searches Multi-file and advanced attachments Set reminders Access Work Chat messages View published business notebooks (Evernote Business)
  8. Not recommended I'd suggest redirecting your request to implementing the Spaces feature to Premium accounts
  9. I'm guessing you're using Apple Numbers on a Mac By default Apple Numbers creates .number format files (excel format is an option) You might want to switch to excel format for cross platform compatibility
  10. For the Mac/Windows platforms, pdf's can be displayed inline
  11. Evernote never implemented Stacks as an element (not shareable) Instead, a Spaces element is being used, and is shareable Spaces are currently implemented for Business accounts - no timetable for other accounts >>>Everyone is already used to the tried and true folder/file structure and Evernote should work the same way. Folder structure is an archaic relic; instead, Evernote provides two metadata fields - notebooks and tags >>I really don't understand why stacks aren't just folders or why we can't have subfolders/subfolders/subfolders under stacks Some users emulate folders using the notebook/tag trees Tags were implemented as a hierarchy and support unlimited levels
  12. I added my vote Two critical items are lost in the export/import; Notebook and Note-ID
  13. Yes, it's important to understand that Evernote/Windows is different from Evernote/Web
  14. I merged your post with an ongoing discussion on this topic I know of no feature table, but I understand Evernote is actively working towards feature parity over the platforms >>I am still on the fence between a Galaxy Tab and an Ipad I'm an Apple fan; also influenced by the synergy all my devices being in the Apple ecosystem It just works
  15. I merged your post with an existing discussion on this topic >>so that as you are writing a note, it also searches for related notes already in your database, and displays them upfront for you. Like Evernote's Context feature (Context reveals notes with related content)
  16. To indicate support for this request, use the vote button at the top left corner of the discussion This feature request currently has 25 votes
  17. Your screenshot shows the Evernote Helper app The clipper icon is on the browser toolbar
  18. Sign out, and make sure you log in with the correct userid/password To force a full sync, hold down the shift and option keys and click on the sync icon
  19. I also run with a minimized sidebar (Mac) and longpress the notebook icon to see the notebook list We can scroll the list without scrolling the sidebar The notes icon is always visible As you pointed out, there are problems with an expanded sidebar; scrolling Also, I like a less cluttered desktop
  20. This is simply a table; a grid of cells with borders There is no calculation facility There's a calc request posted here To indicate your support, use the vote button at the top left corner of the discussion >>2- what is the "bloc code"? I do not find any information on that. Are some examples? Simply a block of text, separated from other text in a box, with a border Formatting is removed, and the font defaults to a non-proportional font The underlying html code is

    What about inkling?

Evernote is a text based product, with an html format base However "ink" based formats are supported as attachments Evernote/IOS currently has a sketch feature that inserts an "ink" attachment; a stylus is supported
  22. Evernote has no problem linking notes with hyperlinks or tags, but only at the note level RomeResearch is more selective in that links/tags can be applied to blocks within the note contents I also like the [[link/tag]] UI
  23. The discussion has been moved to the beta forum
