  1. I understand that those affected by the trial are about 1% of the Free users. Those adversely affected in the trial are likely to arrive to register their unhappiness. The remainder aren't affected - yet. I would anticipate that when or if a final decision is made an announcement will be forthcoming and notice given to all by whatever methods are considered appropriate. So far we have conjecture based uppon the trial that has been running and the conjecture of a Tech Crunch article. I, personally, wouldn't have run the trial in the way that has happened. It is certainly clumsy and disappointing for those affected but I would imagine that the trial will work itself out sooner rather than later.
  2. Confessing that I meant to type Ctrl+T, what I was suggesting is that check your computer settings for Ctrl+T It is likely that another application is using the shortcut or that Windows has taken over Ctl+T for its own purposes. That will likely block Ctrl+T for your installation of Windows. My guess is that you have a Spanish keyboard layout (or maybe Portuguese). Does Ctrl+T do something in your keyboard? You might find the suggestions in this article helpful in diagnosing the issue... https://www.itechtics.com/windows-hotkeys/
  3. I just added an answer to your other identical post. The forum code of conduct says no double posting please.
  4. Ticket response times are still of the order of 14 days. You can always add to your tickets at https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests
  5. I think lose the option to add more notes. We'll have to wait and see. Speculation isn't much use until the Evernote folk reveal all.
  6. I have no inside information but I suspect that the majority of Free accounts are dormant having been created, used for a short while and then left unused. These folk will not be affected by these changes. I expect this to mean that the majority Free accounts will not be affected by any change. This seems to be aimed at persuading active Free users to subscribe or move on.
  7. Did you manage to record your data as suggested earlier?
  8. This is a trial affecting only some Free users. The limit for those who are part of the trial is one notebook and 50 notes in total. If you already have more than 50 notes then you will be able to retain all your notes and edit, merge, delete but not create any more.
  9. I think this is an issue facing a growing number of users - me included. I did all the database/uninstall stuff. The screen still lags the keystrokes a little. Win 11 Pro. Evernote 10.67.2
  10. As advised before. No expectation of a change in the near future.
  11. Or you could persuade those you work with to open a Free Evernote account and share with then inside Evernote.
  12. You don't export the file. Export the whole note. Then reimport the note. It has worked for me once or twice in the past. Thankfully I'm not affected at the moment.
  13. You can try exporting the note as an ENEX file. Then import as a new note. That has been reported to be successful on a number of occasions. If successful delete the original copy of the note.
  14. Windows 10.67.2 I'm finding screen refresh to be somewhat lagging when I'm typing.
  15. This seems to be similar to the issue reported here with 10.67.2 I concur that screen display isn't very responsive to what I'm typing
  16. As I said, it is not a feature of the current version of Evernote. Others have recommended pistach.io as a work around.
  17. If you want an image of the card then Ian take a photo. But I was answering another contributor. I'm not sure that business card scanning is much use where's I live. Few people I know use them, receive them or give them out. Perhaps they are going out of favour.
  18. It is not a feature of the current release of the Evernote applications. If you search other threads detail approaches to share notebooks. I see use of postach.io commended by some others.
  19. I understand it is still on the work bench. The beta you were part of revealed some significant issues that were likely to be unsustainable. A decision was made to change the API but then the new owners made a decision to focus on speed and sustainability. The Outlook stuff dropped down the priorities but I'm told it hasn't been abandoned.
  20. The 'Not supported' block indicates that you are using an older version of Evernote which doesn't support the newer features. Be sure you have the new version of Evernote web client enabled. Two settings need checking... https://www.evernote.com/PersonalSettings.action - check the web client v10 setting and save at the foot of the screen. https://www.evernote.com/Settings.action - Evernote web set to use the latest v10 web client Both of these settings are required to enable the v10 web client and gain access to the newer features. If you can see the tasks which you created in the Android device in the web client then the sync problem is with your desktop app. That's the place to start with resolving the sync. I'd probably rebuild my local data in the desktop app - File, Sign Out, Remove my data. When you sign back in the data will be rebuilt which can often resolve sync issues. Failing that uninstall using Revo Uninstaller. Install afresh with the latest app version downloaded from evenote.com/download
  21. To my knowledge, the Evernote app doesn't carry any audio files with it. So this is something being picked up from within your device.
  22. I guess you rely on your device security. I have an encrypted disk and strong device login. That feels perfectly secure so restarting Evernote without a full login also feels OK. My personal view is that security for my Evernote account is weakest via the web client. I do my best by adding 2FA but, of course, that adds an additional challenge if offline with the desktop apps.
  23. You'll have to search the Internet. Perhaps one of the file repositories such as FileHippo. But I suspect you may not have any success.
