A radical idea I know, but it is possible to split notes into smaller sections - and in general smaller is better (unless you're dealing with an image) since any fat-fingering is far less likely to cost you the whole note. Small losses = small delays. Evernote is not the best place for HD images. I'm finding that v10 handles my 62K+ notes fine, and there are a few manuals with pictures that push over 10MB, so take a while to load depending on the network connection available. Good luck with Legacy...

  5. Hmmn. On Windows 11 but build 22621 and tasks are fine. Did you hang on to anything of your previous Evernote install when dealing with Windows? Would a fresh install on this new system help?
  6. No similar experiences, but there is a new version 10.60 available from Evernote.com which may help.
  7. AFAIK Evernote is simply following the metadata in the image as to which way is up. If you're correcting that and saving the result, the orientation should stay fixed. Have you tried an external editor?
  8. There were some recent email issues - how about if you send an email to yourself? Any duplications there? Do you have a mail client where you could set up a rule to forward any emails from your email address to Evernote? If you then have one email in your inbox but two in Evernote, you'll know the account mailbox has an issue...
  9. Hi. Where are you getting the MP3 files from? A recording app / external websites / local sound mixer? Are you able to edit the links behind the icons? I'd bet that the files that won't play aren't 'just' MP3 files - there's something more complicated going on there...
  10. The way this works is: 200M downloads of the latest app (give or take) are scheduled over a couple of weeks. Your system will be updated in due time. In the meanwhile the latest version is available on the webite, so if you can't wait for the scheduled download, you simply go direct and download / update manually.

  13. Well, the original developers no longer work for Evernote; the company has been acquired by an Italian tech firm and the Legacy app is no longer supported. The new owners are focussed on improving both speed and reliability in v10 and have recently issued several fixes for ongoing issues.
  14. New versions for Mac, Windows and iOS have fixed any recent issues. Updates can be downloaded and installed manually if necessary.
  15. Hmmn. I'd suggest checking that you have the latest version installed - 10.60 - and if updating doesn't resolve the issue... Sign out of Evernote (removing database) / uninstall app with Appcleaner or similar / restart device / download from Evernote.com / reinstall / sign back in (database & indexes will be rebuilt from the server; takes some time.)
  16. Hi. That's usually because you logged in again with slightly dfferent user information and inadvertently created a new account. Try another login or use the 'forgot password' link at Evernote.com. Beware that as a free user you are subject to the device limit which can also block access. Understanding the device limit
  17. Hi. Please search before posting because there are dozens of posts about this. Download the latest version 10.60 from Evernote which already fixed it.

  19. Hi. impressive error - not one I've seen before! I'd suggest a system restart - power off, then back on; and if that doesn't resolve the issue, make sure you're using the latest version and contact Support (who are not us - mostly other users here...)
