I saw some of the old posts on here from a few years ago, I was hoping there would have been some movement with it but obviously not. Damn LOL

I didn't know that. Evernote is about the only app that Grammarly doesn't work in so I assumed it was an Evernote issue. Burn me at the stake LOL

I think this has been asked in the forums but not for a few years. Can Grammarly be used within Evernote? If yes, how? If no, is it planned? Or it a really good spelling/grammar checker available? I know I have enabled "Check spelling as I type" but we're in 2024, why is there not a grammar checker too? Am I asking too much of Evernote? There seems to be a huge amount of development with things like AI etc, but why not one of the most basic yet powerful features not introduced? If there IS a grammar checker in Evernote, please accept my apologies and tell me how LOL Thanks Daz

Thanks so much for your fantastic and helpful reply. I can't justify £80 per year for the level I use Evernote for. I create lots of notes but they're just that, notes. I rarely use the web clipper and things like that. I'm exporting the enex files and bringing them into Apple Notes. It's such a shame to leave Evernote, I've been with it for just over 14 years, most of those as a paid member. At least I'll still have the archive, even if I'm not actively using EN for my notes. So I received "THE EMAIL" that my subscription is increasing by a whopping 48% at the end of this month. That's a ridiculous amount to increase by while the world is going through a financial crisis! Bending Spoons did the same with Filmic Pro but I think that was increased by something like 700%! So I'm now seriously considering ending my paid relationship with Evernote. My question is, with the new free version limit of 50 notes, will I lose all except 50 of my notes? I'm currently looking at possible Evernote replacements. I don't really want to leave Evernote but 48% increase this year, how much more next year? Bending Spoons are well known for this and I'm worried the price increase won't just be a 2023 thing. I think that's my next thing to do to be honest. I had an issue with the Mac app where the template chooser wasn't showing but logging out, restarting and logging back in fixed it. Let's see how it goes 👍

I'm using Evernote on my Macbook Pro M1, iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPad Pro 12.9" M1. All OS's are fully updated and all Evernote apps are fully updated (10.52.2 on the iPad). I find at times, the iPad app can be slow to respond. For instance, I just restarted my iPad and when I re-opened Evernote, it sat there for what seemed like ages before it showed any content. I have a fast internet connection (387 Mb download, 37Mb upload) yet it still lags sometimes. Even changing from notebook to notebook on the iPad Pro can have lags. Is there anything I can do to reduce those lags? Is it a known issue? Any help would be fantastic. Thanks Daz
