  1. Unable to check, because I'm already on Professional!
  2. I file documents on their creation date, but rarely get the opportunity to do that in real time. It's much easier to add the date to the title as above. My typical titles are: <date> (yyymmdd) - <type> (letter / bill / statement) - <source> (name of originator) - <keywords> (anything that seems relevant) If Amazon (forinstance) sends me several emails related to one purchase, they'll be linked together by using the order number as a keyword. I can sort the emails into a timeline by using the titles. This particular topic has been silent for four years, so it's not exactly a popular feature request though there is another thread here somewhere, and I think the best suggestion there was for a new date field. Messing with creation dates is bad database practice if only some of them are genuine, and some are edited. The fact that it used to be possible is not a justification for continuing the practice!
  3. Hi. The new owners have been in place for most of this year, and seem to be spending their time fixing up old code that the original software engineers put togther in something of a hurry. The current focus is on improving stability and speed. Until that's done I don't think they'll be messing with details like this - and even if they do, unless they're working on it already, I'd imagine the production timeline is several months at least. Unless and until they get there, there's an easy fix which has been mentioned above. Create a new note with the correct picture(s) copy the old note content across. Delete old not with wrong pictures. Easy.
  4. Hi. Even the 'old' evernote team had rewritten the app a couple of time in the past 3 years wince this thread was live, and the new owners have had their own go since. Whilst clearly you have experienced some kind of glitch, please confirm your device, OS, Evernote app version and give us a bit more information about what exactly happened to cause your concern?
  5. Hi. I don't think you're going to get a callback, but if you had quoted this thread URL or your current contact email, you would have given them a chance to get back to you. Good luck in sorting this out anyway!
  6. Hi. If you want to get some quick(ish) feedback, you could have asked your question here already. Evernote subscribers get priority support via chat and email. Chat has been suspended for the moment because of current workloads. Subscribers can raise priority support queries here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new Free users here - https://twitter.com/evernotehelps (In both cases it's usually easier to use the Settings > Support option in the mobile client). Once you have completed and sent your contact form you'll receive a ticket number, which marks your reserved place in the queue. A human will get around to you within a few days, depending on how busy the team is. Please follow their instructions and answer any queries they may have as quickly as possible. You can see the current status of your ticket and add additional comments if necessary here > https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/ Please don't moan about being asked to carry out basic checks - first line support will have a check list to make sure that issues being reported to them are genuine glitches rather than misunderstandings or user error. They check the simple things first. #ExpertTip - DO NOT send repeated emails or more support requests to the team. They'll get to you as soon as they can. New contacts have to be added to the existing ticket and adding more work just slows the whole thing down for everyone.
  7. Hi. You're adding to a 3 year old thread, and the options were fixed even then - click in the table, look for a small down-arrow in the cell you clicked and choose options there,
  8. Hi. Non subscribers can use Evernote on two devices only. Swops are allowed for replacements, but only two per month. Access to the web counts as one device and is necessary for admin and swops, so realstically you have a choice of the web plus your laptop, or a tablet / phone. Tracking the number of connected devices is not an exact science - check here for your own situation https://www.evernote.com/Devices.action. For these purposes it doesn't matter if you 'know' that you're only connecting through 2 devices. What matters is: does Evernote know that? If you're locked out of your account for exceeding a device limit, the choices are limited to: waiting it out until the end of the current month or paying for access (even if only for one month). More here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/218558068
  9. Hi. Sorry you're having a bad experience, but we're mainly users here. You went the correct way in opening a ticket, and you should be able to request more attention and/ or reopen it here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/
  10. Apologies for that, but Apple iTunes and Evernote are two different companies, so it can take a little while before payment details are sent through to Evernote, Have you checked with Apple to see whether there were any issues with payment?
  11. Hi. You didn't give us a lot to go on - can you post some examples of notes where 'present' (or any other word) is found, and some that are not found?
  12. Hi - those instructions are for the installed desktop version, not the web. You can also go to the Notebooks page in the installed app and click the three-dots menu to export the entire conents of that notebook. (Exporting single notes is limited to 100 at a time...). Exporting notebbok-by-notbook allows you to maintain the noteboook structure of your account.
  13. Unless it was the regular maintenance session we appear to be fubar-free. You can always check...https://status.evernote.com
  14. Hi. Evernote will be aware of the latest moves in this market and recently updated the 2FA pocess. We're mainly other users in the public Forums here - if you want to suggest new security steps or your personal experience, it's best to submit a Support ticket.
  15. See https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056265514 and the 'pinned notes' widget
  16. Hi. Don't know of anything specific - Evernote needs to have some way to restrict use of free level of the app, but they do seem to get a lot of false positives. As it is a free app I doubt there will be much urgnency behind a fix - you could feed it back in the Settings > support link from Evernote.
  17. Hi. Unless you are using more devices or saving larger notes, you should not need to subscribe to have access to your old notes. If you do subscribe, you will definitely keep your previous notes.
  18. Hi. Did you pay iTunes or Evernote direct? Try restarting your app to prompt the update. It can take a few days if passed through third-party accounting.
  19. Hi. The Forums are mainly user-supported, so we can't help much with passwords or payments and refunds apart from suggesting you contact Support. Both subscribers and non-subscribers can contact Support through https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?guest=true - use the issue type "Account"
  20. Hi. Not expected behaviour. I suggest you start with your browser help team though - Chrome and Brave are essentially the same Chrome-based browser.

  23. If local storage space is a concern, it is possible to opt not to keep a local copy of the database, but that would mean that 'offline' working would not be possible. Which is the situation with web access anyway... In its defence, the installed app does have a few more features than the web, and I'm not sure what the situation is with 'new' notes - while I understand that you can't edit something if an original copy is not available, what happens in offline working if you create a new note with attachments? Does that new note then sync to your account when you next connect? (I'm not in a position to test that at present, but I will do so tomorrow!)
