  1. Hi. Have you emptied the Trash notebook? Now many notebooks do you have?
  2. The reset password link will presumably send an email to your old address, so your only option is to contact support. It's the holiday season and they were already busy, so this may not be very quick... https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?guest=true - use the issue type "Account"
  3. If you're on a free plan you are limited to 50 notes, one notebook and two devices. Not really sufficient to 'actively' add new items. Also Evernote does not have sub-folders. I tend to save everything to Evernote unless there's a good reason not to do that. Then if I see a query I can search for whatever I know or have been told about that issue. If you want to do the same, you need to subscribe.
  4. Hi. Have you checked Tools > Settings > Notes > Youtube links?
  5. AFAICS - not for anyone else. What device and EN version are you using? What exactly happens when you scan a document?
  6. Hi. If you have an HTML note is it in its own window with a top grey bar? Click that bar and then choose the magic wand...
  7. Usual cause of 'lost' notes is accidentally creating a new account when subscribing, Anyone tried the 'forgot password' link at Evernote.com?
  8. Hi. We're mainly other users here - use Feedback or contact Support for direct Evernote input. Also: I believe this detail is in Note Information - and I include source URLs where necessary in the Clip 'notes' area
  9. Good job you're taking a reasonable attitude. I'll post the help pages here that seem most relevant - you should be able to search for more if you need it... Manage your Evernote subscription Export notes and notebooks as ENEX or HTML An Update on Evernote Pricing and Upcoming Features
  10. Hi. Sorry to hear about your situation. We're mainly other users on the Forums here so not able to offer much practical help. As a free user you should have full access to your notes - although there's way more than 50 - and be able to edit or view them. You've apparently run into the Device Limit - you're allowed two means of access to your notes; usually via a web browser and a mobile app. You're also allowed two device changes per month - if you exceeded that you either need to wait for a month or pay at least one month's subscription to get access back. If you have access on another device, try subscribing there. If you still need help you need to contact Support on https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?guest=true - use the issue type "Account" At this time of year it's going to take a while to get a response... good luck.
  11. Some suggestions from Evernote... https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/22644890823315
  12. All I can suggest is that you contact Support if you haven't done so already - check here to get a ticket number (hopefully) - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/ and post the number on this thread. We can flag it for a Forum Admin, but in this Holiday period with Support already over-busy I don't know whether that's going to help much!
  13. Hi. Did you give your bank or payment details somewhere? If so. you're probably committed to a payment. Go to https://www.evernote.com/BillyBillingProfile.action (it's the 'Billing' page of your online account) and check out the very bottom of the page, just above "Terms of Service". The link to downgrade to Basic (free) is there. If you do get (or have been) charged, apply for a refund here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?guest=true - use the issue type "Account"
  14. Please don't do that. If any of the other users in the Forums have any useful suggestions they will make them - possibly after the holidays...
  15. As you know from experience, Evernote do not announce things ahead of time, but they've not indicated in any way that subscriber services are being downgraded - provided you are on v10 and not Legacy. Mobile services are necessarily slow to update since that has to be a low-key background task. Only suggestion would be to limit offline notes/ notebooks as far as possible, and leave the content syncing for as long as possible before likely use. Uninstalls / reinstalls are helpful because they make sure you have the latest version, but AFAIK offline notes need to be re-synced after each reinstall, so extend the time the device is left syncing...
  16. I'd imagine the rest of the 'free note taking' market were surprised and pleased to receive hundreds of thousands of new users. Wonder how long they'll be able to fund their own free services eating up the cost of storage and bandwidth...
  17. He's not; they don't. Your data is totally private unless you explicitly choose to use the AI services. I don't know what point you're trying to make here, but there's an easy way to avoid any risk. Do not use the service.
  18. I'm still confused. 1) the article you referenced doesn't even mention AI. 2) If you look at Evernote's AI search or AI cleanup options they explains clearly what is sent and to whom. If you don't want to have your content shared, don't use the links.
