  1. No update is available. Not sure if I will ever get this stable version, because I'm in a beta group. At the moment I'm using beta v10.7 (1111752) - from 23. march, which was already tested and the editor still has the same bugs that were reported from the beginning of the v10 testing on android.
  2. Don't hold your breath for this to be implemented anytime soon. This was proposed in 2011 with a lot of upvotes since then. So please also upvote the idea here: In "General Feature Requests" forum area you will find a lot of useful ideas. Upvote what you like.
  3. In Google Play Store settings there is an option to auto-update all apps on your phone. If you have this turned on, then you have to uncheck "enable auto update" just for Evernote app in Google Play: If you don't do this, your app will soon be auto updated to v10. If you manually update all apps on your phone, then you don't have to do this.
  4. It was implemented in v10.6: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360058361833-Evernote-release-notes Update Evernote app to v10.6. Open note that you want to create a shortcut to home screen. Tap on 3 dots in the upper right corner of the note. Now scroll down the menu and click on "Add note to device Home screen".
  5. This would be super useful for my Evernote organization.
  6. That is why I mostly use Android version only for viewing and not creating content in Evernote. Even small basic note editing is really a nightmare, because of the bugs. Well at least it looks nice. 😅 Windows version is my primary Evernote content creating platform. It' much, MUCH more mature version compared to the Android one for my needs.
  7. Yeah I also want to see launcher app shortcuts reimplemented:
  8. Now that "Add note to device home screen" is implemented in v10.6 for Android, how about an option to add the notebook to device home screen? I think this will be useful instead of having a bunch of notes on the home screen.
  9. It's implemented in v10.6: Update the app to v10.6. Go to the note, tap 3 dots in the upper right corner and select "Add note to device home screen".
  10. What about option to add a Notebook to the home screen? I didn't find that option.
  11. This is still an issue in v10.7 (1111620) beta and GBoard keyboard.
  12. It's still not fixed. There is still no option to edit encrypted text.
  13. I'm happy to report, that apparently this time it's different. I just installed Evernote Android beta - v10.7 (1111620). Nice to see them testing new versions before stable release. Now I got to check out if months old bugs are ironed out.
  14. I have Pixel 3 XL (Android 11) and the same latest version of Evernote as you. Open Evernote menu, click on the gear (settings), click support and submit a support request.
  15. Good question. EN v10 on Android has the same bugs as when it was in beta (months ago). Instead of fixing some basic bugs in Android version, they are making new features for Windows and Mac clients.
  16. @Calvin.Powers I get the same result as you: Evernote v10.5.1 can't even handle properly web links (it opens them inside Evernote), so I'm not surprised here with G Docs links. Even if I paste this same G Sheets web link inside Evernote for Android note it gets integrated properly (same as Windows client), but when I click on it I get the same error (invalid URL/character). Evernote v10 is a mess on Android.
  17. Yeah it's a mess right now and it looks like it will be like that for at least a few months. They don't follow Android developers guidelines at all.
  18. I managed to open GMaps link inside GMaps app, but it takes some steps. You have to be in note edit mode (green checkmark in upper left side of note). Touch and hold GMaps link. Android syntax menu opens. Choose open in app (I have no idea why there is GMaps logo missing). This then opens link inside GMaps app.
  19. You can go back to v8 and stay on that version for now. Uninstall current EN v10. Download correct version (depending of the devices CPU/SoC) of .APK file here: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/evernote-corporation/evernote/evernote-8-13-3-release/ When you install v8. open Google Play Store search for Evernote. In upper right corner there are 3 dots. Click them and uncheck "Enable auto update".
  20. Yeah performance of EN v10.5.1 is still a joke compared to other apps on my phone. It's funny because release notes contains info about performance improvements: But performance is also an issue in Windows. So I guess this is a multiplatform issue at the moment.
