This bug returned with v10.11 (1114563)...

I jumped out of beta on android so I'm also at the moment using v10.11 (1114563). I can reproduce this bug. Yesterday I was having slightly older version and I couldn't reproduce this same bug. So I guess it was an coincidence after all. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Evernote is at the moment easily THE worst app on my phone. Full of text editor bugs! Gesture navigation inside the app is also driving me nuts! It's the only app with gesture issues. It's funny and sad at the same time. Time to do a downgrade to v8. I guess next step is canceling my premium subscription.

I think you have to open the support ticket inside the app and clearly tell them what is wrong. I did this, they contacted me again in a few days. They had some questions, so I also sent them pictures and videos and more detailed description of the issue. They said my problem was registered and forwarded to the engineering team. After some time they newer confirmed problem as solved but... In next release that issue was fixed. The issue was this: So I don't think it was a coincidence. I think opening support ticket and taking my time to clearly tell them what is wrong lead to solving that particular issue in EN v10 text editor regarding Gboard keyboard. As you know v10 text editor has MUCH more issues with Gboard, but only this particular issue was fixed.

Yeah I checked and selecting text and taping shift key still deletes the text. Also "paste as plain text" also does not remove formating from text.

In the note I am unable to open a picture if it's attached (view as attachment). I can tap/double tap on it, but nothing happens. The only option to view attached picture is to save it to the device and open it or change "view options" inside the note menu to "image" (a lot of clicking): When I change view options to "image" I can just click on the picture to open it up: I want to be able to click on the attached picture to open it.

In v10.9 I can tap on the PDF in a note and it opens up inside Evernote PDF viewer: To save a PDF to the device you have to be in note edit mode and then tap on the PDF. Above keyboard some symbol appear. Tap download symbol: It's confusing, because you have to be carful if you're in note view or note edit mode.

It's clear that v10 is/was whole more than the Evernote staff can chew. All platforms were having issues. Android is still having a lot of really basic issues. Like some basic note editing issues with v10 and GBoard keyboard. I mean... GBoard is Googles own keyboard, that is preinstalled on a lot of android devices so it's the most used keyboard on android. Jet... this is happening: The REAL issue is this: I submitted this issue many times in Evernote v10 for android beta feedback since 13th february. Nothing changed. Other and me wrote about this issue here on this forum, that supposedly Evernote stuff is also reading and taking feedback from users. Nothing changed. As a premium user I contacted support, told them about the issue, linked them to all the topics with this same issue on this forum. I even recorded a video on their wish about this issue. They said they will be "reporting this to engineering team for review". Nothing changed. I used all the channels that can help Evernote solve this issue. And nothing changed. Heck, I don't even know if it will be solved at all! And this keyboard problem is not the only issue. A far from it. A lot of v10 issues are from september 2020. All reported, yet still unsolved. So the question is... In the future, why should I waste my time and send feedback to Evernote if feedback is not working?

You should submit a support request from the settings inside the app. Evernote is bad at using their own forum.

Technically your picture is downloaded, but it's just black. 😛 I have tried to save a picture from a note on my phone and same happened. Got just a black picture. So another bug in the buggy v10 android app. V10 is a mess on android at the moment from the very beginning. Support is super slow, feedback info seems like it's not getting to the developers - you give them feedback but you don't get anything (bugfixes) back. I'm using android version just for reading my notes and do all my editing on windows, where basic Evernote functionalities are working (but still not fully restored from pre v10 era).

Same with me. Weird decision from Evernote. I was not expecting to lose beta features. Got really used to Home which is now gone.

Got stable v10.7.2 (1112038) version via Google Play store. Both new beta features (Home and Tasks) from beta version of the app are gone. So again, some weird testing approach. I was expecting to have both beta features integrated in the stable version, but no. So basically now I got newer, but inferior version installed. 😑 I really like Home. No old editor bugs fixes. 😔 @Shane D. Please, PLEASE fix this seriously annoying note editing bug with space/enter on Android: I mean, to be able to normally edit a note is basic/minimum stuff, that should always work. This should be your No. 1 priority. Instead it's a bug that is at least 5 months old now.

Well... you can have just YT link (non-embedded video) in the note. First make a space (spacebar), then paste a YT link and again space (spacebar), to create a clickable YT link. It's fast and it works. I use this method in Windows and Android. Example of integrated YT link and just clickable YT link (notice the space at the beginning):

I can reproduce that. Seems like a picture generated from a sketch is really low quality.

It's not a feature, it's a bug. 😀 A very annoying one. A bug from Evernote v10 early access program - december 2020. Note editing on my phone is a nightmare because of it. Are you using Gboard keyboard?

Both apps have something to do with Evernote, because Evernote needed Chrome and Webview to be updated. So Evernote is using both apps for functioning.

Yeah I don't know why Evernote wants Chrome updated. You're welcome. I'm glad it worked.

No, do not uninstall Chrome. The point is, that Chrome has to be updated to the latest version. Just update Chrome and then disable it.

Yeah, I get the same results. So clipping YT videos is not good. But link (URL) in notes head is still working. It's not the same, but you can also click on share in YT video and then choose Copy link. Then you have to open a note in Evernote and paste the link in it. More clicks, but at least you get YT video link inside note that way.

I think you will be fine if you update Chrome and then you disable it again. I bet this notification is connected with some recent Webview issues, that affected a lot of apps on Android.
