  1. Come on Evernote devs... this is 4th most voted Windows client request. So a lot of people is missing edit option for encrypted text. It's been 4 months since this request topic was opened here. Any news or timeline for implementation?
  2. Go in the app settings and disable passcode to enable screenshots.
  3. Some options inside settings menu would be nice, to adjust security settings to your needs.
  4. Yeah, i also want to have longer screen timeout just for Evernote. Recipes are a pain, because you always have to wake up the screen.
  5. From pure safety perspective it makes sense, but for me I think it is to strict. With passcode turned on, I also can't see content when multitasking. Passcode off: Passcode on:
  6. It's still not a wide rollout. You either wait for it, or you can install it on your own risk from Apkmirror.com.
  7. I got it! If I turn off passcode inside the settings, I can make a screenshot. passcode turned on = no screenshots passcode turned off = screenshots Good job guys! We don't need Evernote android forum stuff. Have a great transition into the new year!
  8. Yes, I know that Chrome incognito tabs don't allow screenshots, that is why I asked @agsteele to try it. I was 100% sure, that his OnePlus phone uses some other screenshot capture procedure, that bypasses no-screenshot flag in the apps. That is why I'm surprised. And yes. I tried to made a screenshot inside the Evernote app. Nowhere inside the app is not possible to make a screenshot. If I switch to the Google Keep, I can make a screenshot, if I switch again to Evernote it's impossible.
  9. Ok... that is getting stranger and stranger. 🤨 I'm also unable to make screenshots in Chrome incognito tab. I have Evernote build 1107959:
  10. I can't make a screenshot with hardware button combination (same buttons as you used) or with a software (on screen) button. Developers can can enable flag in the app for sensitive content and with it disable screenshots on Android. Maybe OnePlus has different screenshot taking approach, that bypasses this app flag. There are screenshot taking apps in the Google Play, that also can also bypass this restrictions. Go to Chrome browser on this same phone, open an incognito tab and try to make a screenshot.
  11. Yeah I'm also not able to make a screenshot on my Pixel 3 XL (Android 11). Can't do it in All Notes screen and also not inside the note. Weird limitation for a note taking app. Please enable it.
  12. Yeah, that was before they focused on the other platforms. They were actively replaying on the forum before that. But things drastically changed in the last 2 months. That explains why there are still the same bugs in stable as in the beta version.
  13. Maybe more of Evernote subscribers are using iOS. But that is still not an excuse to ignore new Android app for months. They could easily hold release of the new app on Android. At least, they could provide to us some explanation for this messy situation.
  14. Neither do I. I gave up and manually installed update with .apk from APK Mirror. They have the latest version (1107959). Some bad news, that I was somehow expecting. They ignored all bugs/issues from Evernote Beta Program (Android). So no. I don't buy it any more, that Evernote staff was reading the linked forum. They made no replies there and that was alarming. In Windows version, they are implementing new things (not even legacy stuff, but brand new!) and here we are ignored Android users with some basic issues/bugs: web links are still opening inside the app "Paste as plain text" still retains formatting no option to start text encryption or edit existing encrypted text - so much for promised feature parity across platforms... back gesture issue Highlighting text and using shift to change capitalization will DELETE the word instead And these are only some basic issues/bugs from the forum that are still existing. There are a lot more. 2 months from reporting in beta and NONE were commented or at least somehow hinted to get fixed someday. Absolutely nothing. Maybe Android is not a priority to them at this moment, because of all around v10 issues that they are fixing across multiple platforms. But I sure as hell am not joking about thinking to cancel my subscription because of ignored Android app. Evernote for Android is currently a half baked product. It screams beta, but somehow it was forcefully marked as stable version. And from the looks of it, it's will not be fixed anytime soon.
  15. I just asked for it in Evernote Facebook group and got respond that stable build is version 1107959.
  16. I am also in the beta channel and as far as I know, stable release is a newer build version as the one in the beta. Someone posted stable build version somewhere here in the forums and when I checked it was higher as mine: v10.0 (1107867). As usual I got zero response why we beta testers have older version and why they don't first test new versions with beta testers. Makes zero sense to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  17. It should be. It's official Android 11 with Google Play Services. The problem is, that they are making it a slow release on Google Play (staged rollout). I also still don't have it, despite being in beta and having a preview build, which is weird. I expected that beta channel will get "stable" version first and then make wider public rollout.
  18. I really like new editor, search and UI! Some issues: gesture navigation issues in note editing, no option to edit encrypted text, long loading times, no widgets, no biometric authentication,... The main problem is, that Evernote Android beta staff is really not helpful on forum. They don't give no feedback at all. Not sure if they are even reading it.
  19. Yeah I know. I don't like that. I want to have edit option. At the moment I'm just creating new encrypted text instead of full decrypt and re-encrypt.
  20. I have the same issue! I don't want to make more clicks than in the stable version of Evernote. Once I decrypt the text i want to be able to edit it if i want to. Permanent decrypt and then again encrypt is not a good workflow.
