  1. If you don’t tell more, probably n“ever“. The usual reason is a typo in your user name. This leads to an empty, new account. Log out, log back in, making sure your user name is correctly typed.
  2. You want to explain us how clever you are ? Or are you interested in line spacing issues ? If (a) you didn’t impress. If (b) you didn’t contribute.
  3. No, the default notebook is a general setting. You could ask for a change here feedback@evernote.com
  4. This is something anybody has to decide for himself. The main issue with Apple Notes for many users is probably that it works in the Apple ecosystem only.
  5. No double posting - spreading existing posts as shares without adding own content is nothing different.

  7. If you read what was posted as use case, it’s about getting content from draft notes into „mother“ notes. I doubt that neither links nor reminders are typical functions that you will find as draft notes content. Technically you are right, of course.
  8. The current version of the mobile app is 10.86.1. You can check which one you have got. In the past the PlayStore was significantly slower to release the latest version than the iOS AppStore.
  9. I always wonder about these descriptions. Once in a while the app will download an update in the background. When done, it will display a message that it can update now. Or I skip it, and it updates silently the next time I start the app. There is no impact on my workflows.
  10. Starting to use Tasks and Calendar integration would be a good starting point, I think … Beside this nobody will ask a single issuer for his explicit feedback, and tune the app after his personal preferences. Every app is a compromise between different use cases. Better adapt your workflows to the possibilities instead of waiting the app being rebuild to reflect your preferences. You can send feedback at the email address already posted.
  11. No. Content added in one client appears within seconds in another. If I edit inside of an existing note, it is instantaneous.I see the edits made in one client in another while it happens. The only delay I had was the updating of the search index from one client to another. I think that’s a specific problem, the tag show in the note, but the note isn’t found in search. But beside this no issues.
  12. Select both notes, the draft one and the final one to which you want to add content. Merge both notes - you get all content in one note, without copy & paste orgies. Erase what you don’t want to keep, rearrange the rest - done. V10 even allows to define in which order the notes appear, which makes it easy to move the content to erase to the end of the new note.
  13. Actually it is not necessary to integrate all steps to create a TOC. Creating a note is a matter of seconds, selecting the notes for the TOC must be done anyhow. Choosing copy links, and insert them is done quick as well. So why for a once in a while action create a fulls integrated workflow ? It’s one of these nice to have functions that in total make an app bloated and hard to maintain. We have many users coming from legacy who say this would be nice or that would be good. The main issue for me is that they hardly agree on what would be important. This is what was my experience in the legacy days on this forum as well: There was an amazing depth of functions - but the same functions was only seldom asked for twice. Which translates for me into: Every user had his own pet function, but most of them were so rarely used that it doesn’t justify to code it fresh into a new app generation. Hardly any user was able or had the necessity to apply all of these hidden gadgets. So better don’t wait for anything like that to be coded, just to avoid a short user interaction.
  14. Update on the tag search: After appr. 8 hrs. the tags on the last note finally are integrated into the search index and can be searched on mobile as well as on desktop. The easiest way to search for a tag is to enter this into the search field, and press Enter: tag:mytag No space between the colon : and the tag name ! The starting point for all this is the notes tab in the new mobile interface. Once selected, the search becomes active behind the magnifier glass top right.
