  1. I think the need is random and database dependent. I’ve had to fully uninstall and reinstall the desktop only once in recent memory but on mobile several times. It almost seems to be a roll of the dice with each update and with the current frequency of updates the odds get higher.
  2. I’m not sure I would agree that they would be withholding value by not releasing it. I notice that in the pic they have 141 files. They should have an account like mine as one of the test beds. I have over 50,000. Many of those are web clipping junk that I wish were automatically filtered out. I can filter those out by clicking on the doc tab, but I have to wait for the all tab to fill first before switching to the other tab. Also you can only act on one file at a time. I’m not seeing the value at the moment.
  3. Full task view is working for me as well on the Mac.
  4. Options are always good. I don’t see a setting currently so it might be good to provide comment to feedback@evernote.com.
  5. I don't think the feature is fully implemented or rolled out yet. I have the options too but they are currently not doing anything.
  6. You’re pretty passionate about a single click, but ok. If you don’t close the app it will open where you left off. Didn’t the earlier version open to the Home Screen where you then needed to click to get to all notes? I’m not seeing the difference.
  7. I think maybe not forgotten, but instead rolling out gradually. If that is the case, they should put words to that effect in the fix list.
  8. For better or for worse I think the rate hike is due to it being, arguably, underpriced for several years, but also that it is being positioned as a premium app. They don’t appear to want to compete in the low end market. We all have to go through the decision on whether it is worth it to us or not. There are several low cost or even free apps out there that may fit your use case better. Personally, I struggled with the increased cost as well but decided to sign up for another year to see what develops. I’m feeling better about the decision now that several long overdue features that I have wanted are being added. I’ll feel great about the decision when they start tackling the bugs better and get their support system under control.
  9. I now have the new mobile screen and ... I surprisingly like it. Clipboard is back and easy access to shortcuts has been added. Those were my main complaints earlier. Notes, Shortcuts, Tasks, and Calendar are all one click away, which I'm fine with. Interestingly, files load much quicker than on the desktop app which I don't understand.
  10. I can’t answer that question but some updates have an annoying habit of changing my sort preference back to relevance. If I do a search and it doesn’t find what I think it should, the first thing I now check is to see if this setting has changed.
  11. No, and you will not lose them from your account. If you downgrade to free, you will still be able to access them to read and edit but not add more if you have more than 50 notes in your account and more than one notebook.
  12. To confirm exactly what is in your account, use the web app. You may be able to compare notes there with those in your desktop app to see which may have problems. Good luck.
  13. There were several versions floating around and personally I haven't seen the final one that was shown in the video, but I think what they have settled on will work for me. What they didn't mention is that the iPad home screen is back to being the same as desktop, at least for me, so the changes they are showing appear to be only for the phone.
  14. There are a few different complaints in this thread. Which in particular are you referring to?
