  1. The log file includes your user ID/Email. You can remove that before submitting. But it isn't essential if you trust the Evernote guys with that piece of info
  2. If recommend sending this to feedback@evernote.com as well to ensure the suggestion is seen promptly. Whatever, don't expect a rapid delivery. The current focus for the Devs is speed and stability.
  3. Hard to say exactly what the issue might be. Have you tried checking in the web client? Chances are that will give you access to the tasks. These types of issue are sometimes due to a corrupted note. In that case note history might restore the tasks. Or you could rebuild your local data. File, Sign Out, Remove Data. Log back in and your local data will be rebuilt.
  4. Submit your suggestion to feedback@evernote.com We're mostly other users so have no influence.
  5. The real time edit (RTE) that is behind the current sync method means that content is being synchronised continuously as you go along unlike the sync process used by Legacy. So a button is of no value. In the desktop apps Ctrl+R forces a sync in the case of an unusual sync incident. The other things you mention aren't directly replicated as you have discovered. The RTE means that the future of Legacy is limited. You are right to consider your options if you are unable to make peace with v10. Having a plan for post Legacy is, in my view, essential.
  6. Every year about 3 weeks before it becomes due, I start the process of investigating who will offer the best price for my household insurance. It isn't paranoia or panic. It is a task I schedule for three weeks before renewal. Today was the day for that task. I look at the terms on offer from my existing insurer and compare to other providers. Some I rule out because I don't trust the company or, more often, I don't like their marketing. Others have put their prices up and get ruled out. I'm generally left with two or three insurers that I can see the terms on offer. I do a deal, they agree to cover my house and contents for the next year and the terms are agreed. Nothing more to be said and, hopefully, we have no further contact for 12 months since I don't want to have to make a claim on the policy. When the policy terms change for the next year and, most often, the price increases more than inflation (my current insurer wants about twice the premium of the company I'm going with for the next year) I don't consider that to be a breach of trust or betrayal. I just review what the market is offering, ensure it covers what I require, and I move. With other products I start the search a little earlier and, sometimes, keep a quiet watch on developments. I would only consider it a breach of trust if the insurer changed the terms and cover mid-year and I no longer received what I had paid for. But a change of price or service at the end of the contract is what I expect and I would move on or accept the new deal as best suited my needs.
  7. The todo search filter is, I believe, only related to check-boxes. This certainly needs clarity.
  8. I've noted elsewhere that the logic of how Google Play releases updates is, to me, unfathomable. Sometimes an Evernote update arrives within a day of being released but at other times it can take two weeks. I think that two weeks is the maximum you can wait. So, give it another ten days or so assuming, like me, that you're at the end of the process. Of course added to the release process, I find my phone can be erratic installing the updates even if it has arrived. So when I await an update I am keen to receive I check daily to see if it has arrived... If I assume the maximum anything sooner is a pleasant surprise.
  9. @Dave Green I agree that it isn't intuitive but I doubt that there is an agenda to change this. It is the way that it has always been. You, perhaps, need to engage @Federico Simionato or one of the product leads.
  10. You can often use the plus + extension for an Email address. Eg your normal address is name@domain.com You can use name+anything@domain.com Certainly works for most of the free public domains such as Gmail and Outlook.
  11. This is not an Evernote function. You would have to locate Windows application that would enable this. You could open a new free Evernote account with a different Email address. Add you new notes in the new account. Once you have the issue with your existing account problems resolved your could export from the news temporary account into your original account.
  12. We're awaiting v10.53.2 which is rolling out at the moment and promises a fix for this issue.
  13. It isn't unusual. Once your ticket has been passed to the developers it will have been closed - meaning 1st line support is no longer involved. You can reopen the ticket.
  14. I don't understand the logic of Google Play. Sometimes I get an update after acouple of weeks following release. Other times within a day or two. Perhaps you'll get a quicker delivery the time.
  15. Actually 60 versions since 6.25 was replaced. For most of that time 6.25 continued to work with the warning that no future fixes would be available. Shortly all versions before 10.40 will also be deprecated and unsupported.
  16. Either Quit, in which case you know how it works. Or sign out as had been described. We have no other options available. I use a password manager to remember the password.
  17. You're asking a group of largely committed Evernote users who have decided that it does what they need better than OneNote. Chances are we made the decision awhile ago and prefer the data structure of Evernote and the features of offers. There's is always a big challenge when changing application to achieve the workflows we have become accustomed to. We stick with what we are familiar.
  18. Evernote 10 isn't designed for Windows 7. Since about v10.50 you have had to have at least Windows 10.
  19. I want aware that it was a requested thing. Have you asked support?
  20. The Organizer is a sub via the mobile app stores. Go back to the store and request a refund. Your Organizer deal is with that store.

  22. You need to go direct to Evernote support. These are user to user support forums.
