  1. Hi. I'm sorry but this forum is mainly supported by other users who do not have any access to password or account information. I suggest you contact Evernote Support on https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?guest=true to explain your situation again. If you are based in China your actual account may be with a separate company Yinxiang Biji which is wholly based there. Whichever system your account is based on, your notes will not have been lost - an original copy is maintained on Evernote's (or Yinxiang's) server. Finding the correct user details may take a little while however...
  2. Hi. You were using an obsolete application which saved its notes in a different format. That format is updated as and when notes are opened, though you are the first (I think) to report this duplication issue. Do you have any similar problems with new notes? NB if you still have v6 installed this will compound the problem because it will still sync your notes in the old format, even when dealing with new notes. I'd suggest an easy (possible) fix would be to rebuild your current database - sign out of Evernote and choose not to keep a copy of your notes on the local system. Then sign back in and allow the database to rebuild itself.
  3. Hi - Try going to Evernote.com in a browser and sign in there? If you get access, then consider uninstalling your current app and re-downloading / reinstalling from Evernote.com.
  4. Hi. The Forums are mainly supported other users, so we're not balancing anything here - and updates are occasional rather than daily; my last was some days ago. Mine also seem to come up on restarts - my system boots up and I get a 'new release' pop-up - so it's note like I keep on getting interrupted while typing. If you literally are getting daily updates I'd say something went wrong with your system and a 'clean' reinstall might solve the issue. Otherwise I'd suggest you tell Evernote via feedback@evernote.com and -maybe- hope for an option to hold updates for a while.
  5. Hi. The Support team aren't here - we're mainly other users; and if you're already in touch with Support over your requests, you have a direct line to continue your argument. Plus if you have a Teams subscription, that's a business purchase and doesn't have the same level of protections in most countries as does a private payment. You have my sympathy - I was just denied a (much smaller) refund by Google in similar circumstances - but unless you paid by credit card, when your card company may be able to refund the charge, you are dependent on Evernote to perhaps refund your April 2024 payment. If you have access to any legal advice you might want to run the situation past them too...
  6. Not us - mostly other users here. How did you contact Customer Support?
  7. Before you post here - please consider opening a new thread. So far we've had issues being raised with: Search Keyboard shortcuts Scanning Drag n Drop App links Attachments All with possibly different device/ OS/ Evernote version numbers. If you have an issue, or even a rant - please give it a separate thread with a suitable title. It'll be easier for someone else in the same situation to find content that relates to their situation, and it makes life a little easier for those replying to the post.
  8. Please don't post random 'empty' comments on old threads. They're likely to be deleted.
  9. Hmmn. 3 yrs obsolete software doesn't have any documentation? Quelle domage. I'd think the conventional uninstall process would work, or at worst Appcleaner would do the job. It might be an idea to reinstall v10 afterward to make sure no incidental files get damaged, but since everything is synced to the server it's hard to cause any problems for v10.
  10. Funny - all my attachments open in whatever application I'd expect. Maybe you should start a new thread with more details about what's happening and we can maybe suggest how to avoid your issues...
  11. I'm still using a much-abused Fujitsu S1500 with ScanSnap Manager 5.6 - the scanner has a near 30,000 page count but is still going strong. I've always scanned to a folder, then drag / dropped to one or more Import folders. When using Legacy (a long while ago) I verified that scanning directly to an Import folder was a bad idea. It is possible to avoid some of the work by using a file-management app - a little utility called DropIt! = http://www.dropitproject.com/ - forinstance can sort through a folder of scanned files and move them all to one or more different import folders (adding files to different notebooks) according to rules set by the user. Although an old app it still works with my Win 11.
  12. Reported several times already - we're mainly other users here; please feedback to Evernote directly via https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new (be very patient for a response) or feedback@evernote.com.
  13. ? Most folks choose one or the the other, not both... but both work...
  14. If you are having password issues, you need to contact Support on https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new
  15. Working for me in v10.85.4 - it inserts a list of links to any large / medium / small headers in a note.
  16. Hmmn. I wonder how it handles running out of space? Or, come to that, the need to export one notebook at a time (because there's no metadata for notebook and restoring a mixed export would put all the notes in one notebook). You might want to ask the developer about that. As to database size, the storage used on your desktop device will differ from the exported size, because the github app converts your content into (I think) a SQLite database and I have no idea whether that is more or less efficient than Evernote's native storage. To get a general idea you might search for any Evernote folders on your device and check their total size - on a Windows device the content will be here (unless you changed it) - C:\Users\<you>\AppData\Roaming\Evernote I have around 68,000 notes and my overall storage at that location is 38GB - as a very rough estimate your export should be around 20GB (but you may need somewhat more space while the app is processing the export.)
  17. Hi. You theoretically get two devices (including the web client) but the device count is frequently incorrect. If in doubt just delete all other devices than the one you are using.
  18. Hi. We're mainly other users here - no input or impact on Support issues. What exactly was your login issue?
  19. Hi. We're not Support here, just other users. You could try uninstalling your app, restarting your device and reinstalling to make sure you have a valid installation...
  20. Hi. As long as it takes. The team are doing their best, but there are only so many hours in the day...
