Hi. As @Rajesh Gaire pointed out this is not in a voting forum - and the Forums are mainly user-supported with Evernote staff monitoring threads. I'll move this page to a voting thread so others can show their support, but part of the problem is that in pleasing users who (forinstance) wanted the same layout to appear on all devices, Evernote limited the number of fonts available to those that they could adapt to appear the same on all operating systems. Cue the 'other' users who have a favourite font that is not on that list complaining loudly that they need their choice back. Likewise everyone calling for the same user experience on all platforms - OK that means that only features that work everywhere can be included... and some platforms lose the little luxuries that they were enjoying with native code. Cue more noises off... As somebody famous once said... "you cannot satisfy all of the people all the time" ...But you could make it more reliable and faster guys...

You CAN open a link in the Evernote app on a desktop, from another app on that same desktop in the Legacy version. Evernote (obviously) has to be installed, and (I would imagine) it has to be already open for the link to work. How that will work in the new version is currently anyone's guess, though the current Legacy version does have a link that will open in either the installed version or in a browser if that fails.

Hi. There are dozens of complaints in the forums that the spelling dictionary is set to one language only and (so far) has no facility for another option - or an off switch. The only fix I know is to go back to Legacy until they get around to resolving this. It should be soon...

OK - you know the work-around for this if its an issue anyway. Evernote will look into it, but it may take a little time to fix...

Hi. As long as you're still using the last public version of Evernote you'll have access to local notebooks which (AFAIK) are not part of the upload limit restriction. You'd need to create a new local notebook, then drag and drop the larger notes (or use the app 'Move') them into the new notebook. NB this is information that is entirely local to the device it's on. Back it up - it's your only copy, and it won't be accessible from any other device. As an alternative, in the All Notes list view, sort your notes by size and export the largest notes to ENEX. Re-import them to a local notebook and delete the originals. Can't help you with the discrepancy in database sizes - if you're exporting one notebook from All Notes that should be all you need... So am I - but it doesn't buy the right to expect that requests for additional features will be met. As users, we're invited to suggest new ideas - Evernote may or may not adopt them at some future time... With almost as many users worldwide as the adult population of the US and 365/24/7 usage, even minor changes take a while to consider, cost. code and test - so my point about this not happening anytime soon (unless it's already in development) is still good. Meantime - work-arounds...

Hi. I don't mean to carp, but you're wanting Evernote to spend some thousands of $$ on development work to spare you paying an increased subscription to get Note History? Even if they were willing to do so (which they very well may be, no-one knows!!) that feature is not going to arrive for some months or (depending on priorities) years. Meantime you could be using a text expander like Phrase Express to add a date to your note titles so a simple sort will get you an accurate timeline - or go back to the Legacy app where the updated date is still editable, or wait for EN10 to catch up and give us back the edit date option...

Hi. Depends what you're downloading from, but Legacy desktops (forinstance) can export notes to HTML which can be imported to Word or Excel....

Is this for looking things up, or for making notes? If looking up, then a saved search (or several) should do the job. If editing/ saving, then maybe templates or a 'standard' note that can be duplicated as necessary?... Just suggestions...

Hi. I can see the benefit of adding the font, but following user pressure to ensure that notes 'looked' the same in all OS's, on all devices, Evernote's answer has been to go with a small number of fonts which they (presumably) own and can use anywhere. I see the font you suggest is open source, but how easy it would be to include it as an option I don't know. I moved your suggestion to a Feature Request forum so that other users can vote to indicate their support.

Don't know whether it might help, but third-party app Filterize monitors notes as they sync and can generate dynamic tables of content - 'dashboards' - featuring some of those notes based on various parameters. It should be fairly easy to produce a listing of notes created or edited each day forinstance. I don't know how well Filterize deals with shared notebooks, but it would be fairly easy to test - there's a Free(mium) option available... https://filterize.net/

If you have a red "!" on the sync icon indicating a problem, try Ctrl-clicking the icon - you may get more information about your issues...

Hi. I'm running the previous public version (6.25.1) and have no issues (yet) - if you Ctrl-Click on the red "!" on the sync icon it may give you more information about any issues you have. Otherwise: have you reached or exceeded any account limits recently?

So several devices are connected to the same account using the same user login? You're aware that Evernote saves back to a central server from each device and then distributes the current state of the account back to each device individually? It's amazing you don't get all sorts of errors... I'd imagine the first device to open the Templates folder gets a lock on that folder until it finishes creating that note, when - if another device gets lucky - it will be available again. I'd suggest you create your 'templates' as notes in a shared folder and get everyone individual accounts, or update to a Business account.

Hi. It's possible to attach an Excel spreadsheet to a note so that it's available wherever you can access Evernote. On a laptop the spreadsheet would open (if you install Excel) directly from the note and would save back into the note. No need for separate files. On a mobile it would be possible to download the spreadsheet from the note to view or edit it (again if you have the app installed) - which may not be practical for large amounts of data, depending on your network connection speed. An edited spreadsheet would need to be uploaded to re-attach it to the note.

Hi. Desktops have user profiles to keep access separate, and it's possible to sign out of Evernote and rely on the app-level password.
