  1. I deleted an off-topic post here. Please follow https://discussion.evernote.com/guidelines/
  2. Comments to live by. I'm a moderator here, and unless people play nice I get offended. You don't want me to be offended....
  3. LOL - just as a random catch Ctrl+M (in the right-most cell) is a great way to generate a new row in a table too! It acts like tab.
  4. Back on the original topic... I just looked at Evernote's blog post again and noticed @Federico comment that "the majority of free users" fall within the 50-note limit. (Which of course is the sort of thing that any company would say as good PR anyway...) -Of course we've also seen some ranting from 'loyal users with thousands of notes' about the unwarranted restriction of their access. The 'less than 50 notes' scenario would fit with someone who set up an account but doesn't actually use it for much, or tried and gave up. IMHO if you're going to keep more than a few notes anywhere you must be a subscriber to your service; you at least get some rights and privileges and access to help, and have some credibility if you have reason to complain. Although it's taken way too long this time I think Evernote is doing the right thing in fixing an unprofitable drain on their resources. No board is ever going to take the view that continuing a 'free' service should cost the company money. In UK law that would be something that would annoy shareholders and could get directors fired... Now like every other provider that offers a number of days free trial (often on the basis of requiring payment details up front and 'cancel if you don't like it' - which has caught me before now) users can try out almost all of Evernote's features before they pay or move on. Balance has returned to the universe. I mentioned before that the upload limit (or was it note size?) for top-rate subscribers was once removed - Unlimited Uploads lasted for a week or two before the torrent of uploaded content (vague pun intended) convinced Evernote to revert to the current levels. They're still (I would guess) one of the biggest data-centre customers around - in the top 10 at least.
  5. Agreed Ctrl+M in Windows only works on a blank line. Tab and the menu-bar 'in/outdent' work fine.
  6. ...and as I've mentioned: "free" plans usually make their money from ads and/ or selling user data. The only truly free option out there involves paper and pen. The battery life is brilliant but the search options... aren't.
  7. Hi. The note size limit is a total size - so if you're editing an existing note you need to consider how much data is already there. Plus any activity in the note means extra space needs to be available for any temporary storage required. Have you tried uploading to a new note and then merging the two?
  8. Hi. It's a known issue that shared notes can only be deleted by the owner. If you can park them somewhere out of the way it's worth reporting the issue to Support to see where they are with this issue. We do know they're incredibly busy, so a response will probably take you past the Holidays; please be patient!
  9. Hi. Haven't been aware of any specific issues - have you tried deleting the current reminders and creating new ones?
  10. Hi. I can log in by quoting an email address and password - I don't need to receive a response by email. Have you used 2FA or forgotten your password?
  11. Hi. We get that you're using a Mac from the Forum you posted in, but Evernote version? Web? App?
  12. Hi. Have you signed out of Evernote and back in / restarted your device since the upgrade? It usually takes a short while for the new status to show, but if the payment went through you should have been suitably updated. I'd check your payment account first and make sure the transaction actually happened, then restart everything to check whether the account has been processed. Check also at your billing page which should show the status of your account. You can raise this with Support, and if the experience left you too traumatised you can get a refund - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new Response times are slow at the moment - be patient if you need them...
  13. You may have missed an important memo... https://evernote.com/blog/evernote-free-note-limits
  14. Hi. I haven't got it either. Maybe try again and check where the file will be saved?
  15. The details were already posted in this thread. Want to give us a bit more detail? Response times with Support will be around 14 days for a person - they are incredibly busy...
  16. Current response time seems to be around 14 days. Have you tried the full clean reinstall? 1 - Exit Evernote / delete data from device 2 - Uninstall app with Appcleaner (Mac) or Revo Uninstaller Free (Win) 3 - Power device off / allow 10 seconds / power back on 4 - Download latest Evernote from Evernote.com 5 - Reinstall. It will take a little while for the app to be fully operational 6 - Check that Hardware Acceleration is set to ON (in settings)
  17. No. You just haven't reached the update roll-out (again) yet. I'm on 10.67.2 and everything is working fine on Windows 10 & 11 You could try a clean re-install... It will take a little while for the app to be fully operational 6 - Check that Hardware Acceleration is set to ON
  18. Hi. "Suddenly?" - That doesn't usually happen. Full explanation please with details of device / OS / Evernote version (if you can remember..)
