  1. Have you got any ad blockers or tracker blockers switched on in your browser? I've found they sometimes stop some website functionality.
  2. From what I've experienced there's less support for keyboard shortcuts in the web than in the apps. In the desktop app I've reassigned CTRL+Q to CTRL + NUMBER PAD MINUS and it works a treat inside and outside notes. You need to find a key that's not wanted by the editor or the app and reassign "switch to" in the desktop app.
  3. On the desktop app I can select a number of notes and a blue box appears near the bottom... 3 dots gives me the export as PDF option. From the looks of it you can reorder the notes and add separators with the professional plan... looks pretty cool to be honest. Might upgrade from the personal plan thing!
  4. I hope this happens. Recurring tasks are apparently coming but I have no idea how powerful they'll be... I'm waiting for them as most of my work tasks recur. It would be nice to be able to set tasks as "first Wednesday in the month" or "every weekday" or "Last Friday in the month". I currently use Todoist for all of this but would switch to EN in a minute if I could do all this. Here's hoping.
  5. You can export notes as PDFs if that's any use. You can also select multiple notes and export them all as one PDF which could save a bit of time. You could also stick all the notes in a notebook and share the notebook with your accountant but I think they would need an Evernote account to view them.
  6. F11 should take it out of full screen mode unless something else is wrong.
  7. Same. I read somewhere (can't find it) that they're working on email tasks into the system like you can do with notes. Waiting for this together with recurring tasks as my CRM, invoice & project management software all create tasks for me automatically in Todoist.
  8. @rlubertiThanks... glad they know its a little bug. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon.
  9. Can't set the font size but you can type notes in a larger size if needed. Use Medium Text from for formatting bar which will give you size 24. You can also type ## and space before starting a paragraph to increase the size the medium (24). Zoom also works CTRL +/- to zoom in and out. Not perfect solutions but might help.
  10. In the notes widget you can see the number of completed/uncompleted tasks like - 3/35. Not sure about the other stuff Might find some answers here https://evernote.com/compare-plans There's also a free trial for all the plans so you could test it out and find the answers.
  11. You can do find and replace... CTL+F when looking at a note and then 3 dots to expand the search box.
  12. I found a workaround for this... what you need to do is edit the keyboard shortcut but find a key that's not being used by the editor. I changed it to CTRL NUM PAD MINUS KEY and it works from within a note... just need to find a key that the editor or the app doesn't use. To edit the shortcut click the keyboard icon, bottom left and then search for Switch to. Edited: for clarity & speeling misatkes.
  13. I think they're having problems their end. https://status.evernote.com
  14. Can you post if you get a reply... would be nice to have this fixed. Followed.
  15. The local copy seems to be just for offline use.... there's no option to have things local only as in not in the EN cloud.
  16. OneNote is very good, I used it for a while. You do have to pay for an Office 365 license for offline notebook use though. The main reason I moved back to EN was that OneNote seems to be going down a more educational route and I like the more productivity approach from EN.
  17. I don't think there is but the way I do it is create a note from a template and then link it to a calendar event which puts a header at the top with the name of the event/meeting and the date/time. Works quite well.
  18. I set up a Google Calendar and have my 'other' calendar sync to it using an automation service... IFTTT, Zapier, Zoho Flow can do this. No the perfect solution but works OK for me.
  19. My own opinion on backups is that you only really need them for two reasons. 1. EN loses data and you can import stuff back in. 2. Moving to another service. For number 1 just doing a regular export in enex format would do the job and if anything gets lost on the EN side of things you can import them back. This is what I do. For number 2 it's really down to the other service creating some sort of 'import from Evernote' feature. If folks are downloading all their notes in HTML so they can view them offline then this is what the app is for whichever version you use. The export functions in PDF and HTML in my mind is really if you want to share specific notes or notebooks with people. I export to PDF a lot and then give the file to clients. In my mind its not really for proper backups... use ENEX format for this.
  20. I thought the same but have after a lot of messing around have built it into my workflow and it works a treat My use case is that I provide online/in person training and also produce/host a popular marketing podcast. So the workflow goes: Person goes to my booking calendar and books a training session or podcast interview. Zoho Flow (which is like IFTTT) passes the booking to Zoho Calendar (my main calendar) and also Google Calendar (for EN). Flow also automatically creates a new note in the correct notebook with booking information. When I'm prepping the session I link the note to a calendar item. All sessions appear on my home screen in the calendar widget. This has been working well. All my notes/scripts/questions linked to the correct event. Would love to some some sort of week view or next 7 days view in the calendar widget.
  21. I don't have any bookmarks 😂 I just type websites in the address bar!
  22. Is the notebook on mobile set for offline use? I've found spotty web connections sometimes cause the green wheel to spin. I travel by train in the UK a lot so rubbish phone connection all the time... got a few notebooks set for offline use. Also found flipping to flight mode on the phone speeds up offline notebook access as it doesn't try online first.
  23. Can you export as a HTML file, open in your browser, select all (CTRL+A) , copy (CTRL+C) and then paste (CTRL+V) into Evernote?
  24. That's really odd. Just loaded it up again and see €10 and €15 for premium and business. Maybe a whole load of A/B testing going on to figure out the best price points? Found all my prices from the bottom of their home page.
  25. I'd never heard of Filterize before so took a look. I see a plus plan at €1.99 a month / €19.99 yr and premium at €3.99 / €39.99 yr. Can IFFTTT or whatever it's called do the same?
