Hey folks. Thanks for these reports. This issue appears to be isolated to older browser versions. Specifically Chrome < 85, Edge < 85, Firefox < 77, Safari < 13.1, Opera < 71. We're working on a fix for these browser versions. In the meantime Please update the browser to fix this, or revert to the previous version of Evernote Web from your settings page: https://www.evernote.com/Settings.action The previous version of Evernote web will load on the older browser versions. Thanks for the confirmation and thanks everyone for your patience. With 10.8 you can now edit global keyboard shortcuts to find the perfect combination of characters. Here's How: Install 10.8 (see details below) Access the keyboard shortcuts menu by using Ctrl/Cmd + /. Double Click on the Screen Capture option to edit it. We're in the process of releasing 10.8 to all customers. You can install 10.8 directly from https://evernote.com/download/ if it's not available from the Help > Check for Updates option as @PinkElephant helpfully called out. Note: App store installations do not have the option to check for updates. They receive the update automatically through a gradual rollout. If you'd like to switch from the app store to the direct download to get 10.8 now please uninstall the app store installation prior to installing the direct download .

@DPS188Thanks for this report. We believe this issue is fixed in our current release. I see that you're running our previous version 10.5.7. Please install our latest update from this link: https://evernote.com/download/ After updating check the note history for the missing images. Please let us know if you see any other issues after updating to 10.7 Thanks

Thanks for your patience while we continue to investigate this issue. Please use these steps as a workaround until the fix is released. Update on this issue: The 10.7 release has changes to the update process to mitigate some causes of this issue, but we recognize it's not fully resolved. We've prioritized logging in the 10.8 release to get more info on the issue. After completing the steps above, please use these steps to provide us the issue file so that we can investigate this further: Copy this string: %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Z_Evernote Press the WIN + R keys to open the run window Paste the copied string into the run window and select OK to open the Z_Evernote folder Find the config.json file in the Z_Evernote Attach the config.json to this thread, or send it to me in a direct message thanks in advance.

Please use these steps to fix this: Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC keys to open the task manager Select "More Details" to view the background processes Select any processes with "Evernote" in the title, and end them Open Windows Explorer Paste %appdata% in the window header and press Enter Rename the folder "Evernote" to "Z_Evernote" Open Evernote and sign in Please let me know if the issue continues after completing these steps Thanks!

That's correct. This is an ios thread. 10.4 is the ios version where this feature will return. 10.6 is the desktop version with this feature. You can update to 10.6 by installing it from here: evernote.com/download -

To confirm, this is an ios forum thread. The 10.4 version is referring the ios version, not desktop app version. Could you triple check the installed version by selecting Evernote > About from the menu? If you search for your app for Evernote do you see an "Evernote" and an "Evernote 2". Checking your account activity, it appears that there are two sperate version installed on the same mac. Version 10.3 and 10.6 the feature will only appear in 10.6 for the mac desktop app. -

Thanks for these reports. We're looking into this. When you restart the program, please try to open the task manager and quit all Evernote processes to ensure the app is fully quit. Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC keys to open the task manager Select "More Details" to view the background processes Select any processes with "Evernote" in the title, and end them Restart Evernote Those steps should fix the issue as a workaround while we look into this. Please let us know if that's not the case.

Hey all. We've made some improvements to note loading in our 10.5 release. Please install it from https://evernote.com/download/. If this blank notes issue continues after updating to 10.5 please let us know: if the issue impacts all notes in the account. Check to verify if it occurs with notes in different notebooks If the about page is blank. Select: Help > About If selecting File > Quit, (not the X icon) and reopening Evernote fixes the issue

Hey Everyone. We addressed some note loading issues in our latest version 10.5. Please install it from here: https://evernote.com/download/, and let us know if you continue to see issues. The fix in this version is specific to shared notes sometimes not loading. If you see this issue with all notes, and the about window is also blank, please post your report in this separate thread:

Hey everyone. Thanks for your feedback. We hear you and will continue to work on performance. Our 10.5 update released today contains performance improvements for note loading, the sidebar, and attaching files. But we're not done. If performance issues continue on 10.5 please let us know with the following details in your report: Note Count Specific actions in the app that are too slow For example, Files ~XMB in size take too long to attach. Merging X# of notes with X# of attachments takes too long .etc. If possible, a screen recording of the behavior If you notice the issue while working with specific notes, and you're comfortable sharing them please attach an exported .enex copy of the note or include a note link. These details will help up prioritize our areas of ongoing performance improvements. thanks again.
