      Hi Jay,

      How are you creating notes that this is happening with? Please be sure to include the platform you are using (Evernote Web, iOS, Android, Windows, Mac) to create the notes and the method you use to add the images to the note (copy paste, drag and drop, attach, clipped, etc.).

  2. Thanks for reporting this. I can reproduce this issue and reported it to our development team to fix. In the meantime, it looks like the workaround @gazumped offered is a good option or temporarily disabling the code block (by clicking the code block icon on the toolbar) adding a line and then re-enabling code block.
  3. Since not all browsers handle copied and pasted images in the same way, we discovered that in some cases (primarily in Chrome on Windows) images that were pasted were not actually saved to the note and instead were linked to the note. This resulted in the loss of the image when the linked file was removed. To prevent this type of loss, the paste functionality was disabled in Evernote Web. This is something we do plan to support again but I currently do not have a timeline for when this will be available. In the meantime, the drag and drop functionality should work correctly so another workaround would be to drag and drop an image onto your desktop (or other location) and then drag and drop it into a note.
  4. I see to be having the opposite problem most users are having.
    My Evernote (6.9.1) running on a Mac Book Air running Mac OS 10.11.6 (El Capitan) seems to autostart on reboot even though I have never set that option to happen.
    I toggle the setting reboot and the same thing happens over and over every time i reboot.
    How do I stop this behavior?

      Hi John,

      Apologies, I somehow missed this message from you. Are you still experiencing this issue on Version 6.9.2? Just to be clear, you are referencing the "Open Evernote when I login to my computer" within the Evernote for Mac Preferences or are you referring to the "Open at Login" when you right click an application in the Mac Dock?

    I had recorded a note on 9th Jul 2016 in my ipad. Today morning, I installed evernote in my windows desktop and synced. Now I see that all other contents are available wheres only thisparticular note is missing - it was there in the morning when i looked into my ipad. I have checked trash...couldnt find it there. This is a very important note and i need the content desparately.

  7. Just to confirm, this is not currently a feature in Evernote Web. It may be something that will be added in the future. I went ahead and moved this thread over to Web Feedback. Please feel free to up vote if this is something you would like to see in a future version of Evernote Web.

My son has Android phone, and he showed my wife and me how to use the Evernote Scanner to create pdf files that can then be transmitted and edited through Adobe Acrobat; however, my wife and I have iPhones (hers a 6, mine a 5c).  It appears that any scan we create with Scannable is in .jpg format and thus not nearly as usable.  If I understand your blog posts, this may be a glitch that will be fixed in the future, but I also didn't see an option to send the attachment as a pdf.  Where would that option appear?

      Hi Bob,

      Thanks for reaching out. 

      The option to switch between an image file and a PDF on Scannable for iOS can be accessed by tapping on the three dots on the scanning screen, selecting "Settings" and then selecting the file type option of your choice: "Auto", "PDF" or "Images". There is not an option to default to a specific image type. I've passed this along as a feature request to our development team. I hope this helps.

  9. Hi Everyone, Good news: this issue should be fixed in the next update to Skitch (Version 2.8). I don't have a timeline for when it will be released but please keep an eye out for the update and post here if you find this is still an issue for you.
